Pauline and Neil were great hosts! They accommodated our booking on short notice and were flexible with check in time, which was very helpful. They were very friendly, helpful and responsive to messages/questions. They addressed minor issues that arose quickly and effectively. While the wifi did not work for the first few days of our stay, Neil and Pauline were actively trying to sort it out and it was resolved within a few days. Neil and Pauline went out of their way to offer and provide rides as we were travelling without a car and under difficult family circumstances. Their kindness and helpfulness was much appreciated and heartwarming. The place was homey, clean and situated on a lovely quiet lane with a pub pretty much across the street. A very nice place to call home for the week. Definitely would recommend their place!

We had a lovely stay at Debbie’s accommodation. The caravan was easy to find and ideally situated for our trip. The surroundings are pleasant and it was a peaceful location. The caravan was clean, tidy and well equipped. There was a lovely little welcome basket and milk & butter in the fridge, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. We would stay again and happily recommend this accommodation.

Great, welcoming host, always fast to respond from text and great communicator, not much time spent with the host but the time spent was very warm and welcoming.

Expensive but luxurious house very close to West Kirby beach, at the end of a cul-de-sace, with views over the Dee estuary, Hilbre islands, Royal Liverpool golf course. In close (walking) proximity to the West Kirby marine lake, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, with fast access to train/metro into Liverpool or towards Chester/Cheshire. The house is very spacious, many rooms and beds to choose from. The kitchen diner is particularly nice as it is located at the back of the house, looking onto the garden & terrace, with cooking island, induction cooker, several ovens and microwave, lots of cooking utensils, trays, pans etc. Outside space is very quiet, all you hear are bird sounds & occasionally a golfer teeing off :-) Beds are very soft (not everybody will like that)! Private parking space for 2 cars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would return in future when visiting the area again

We spent two nights; my husband and me, together with my in-laws, visiting friends living in Ellesmere Port. Excellent comfortable accommodation in very good order, accurately reflecting the photos on the website. Extremely well equipped with toiletries and cupboard basics some of the best in our long Airbnb experience. Village shops three minutes away for provisions and and the bonus of a proper village pub even closer! Access by car from M56 in five minutes, but no sound or sign of the motorway at the accommodation. Buses to Chester pass the door. Friendly and helpful host with excellent communications.

Ty Haf was the perfect stay in every way. From the moment we arrived (much later than planned, after a traffic-clogged journey) we were made to feel extremely welcome and looked after. We could instantly settle in and feel completely relaxed in our gorgeous surroundings, both inside the cottage as well as the beautiful natural surroundings of the Clywdian hills. We absolutely loved the local recommendations for days out & meals out. Richard was kind enough to re-lay the log burner fire for us every day, so we could come home after a day out and have a toasty fire going within minutes. The cottage was so well provided for with every last detail thought out, yet there was no clutter or unnecessary items. It was also immaculate throughout, light-filled even on grey days, and we loved opening the kitchen blind in the morning to be greeted by a sheep gazing at us from the other side of the fence! All-in-all, a cottage stay that ticked every box and many more - can't wait to return!

A great stay in Chester. As regular visitors using Air B&B Diana’s place is up there in good places to stay. The location is perfect, and the parking space is a massive bonus.
