We can’t say enough good about Rhoda’s place that would accurately say how good it was! Rhoda was so friendly, wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and was so willing to help us with suggestions and anything else. After a long day I said to my husband “let’s go home” referring to Rhoda’s place. It definitely felt like home to us! You would never be disappointed by staying with Rhoda! We truly loved her and her family! 💕💜💕

Tout était parfait : nous avions 2 chambres pour 3 personnes avec un accès privatif et une salle de bain privée. La vue sur les montagnes au petit déjeuner (délicieux et complet) était imprenable. Sue et Michael sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils et serviables. Bien que notre GPS ait facilement trouvé le logement, les indications complémentaires de Sue étaient parfaitement claires et détaillées. Sue et Michael ont été forts de recommendations pour notre séjour et la suite de notre voyage. Un grand merci à eux !

I had an amazing three-night stay at Anne and Mark’s place in Kingussie. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The house was cozy and welcoming, offering the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Anne was an exceptional host—responsive, friendly, and always eager to help. The breakfast each morning was perfect, setting me up for a great day ahead. Their dog and cat were also a delightful part of the experience, making my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was Anne’s recommendation for a five-hour hike, which I took and absolutely loved. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and the remoteness of Kingussie makes it an ideal spot for those looking to escape and unwind. While Kingussie might not be for everyone due to its secluded nature, I highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, tranquility, and a deep connection with the outdoors. Anne and Mark’s hospitality made my stay truly special, and I would love to return!

We were on the fence about booking a room in someone's home as we've never done it before...but we couldn't have been happier that we did! We enjoyed our stay, the bed was super comfy, the breakfast was great and Jamie was so helpful at helping us plan! If we were to come back in the future we wouldnt hesitate to stay again!

Absolutely amazing! the perfect stop along the west highland way! We booked John's place with less than 2 days of notice as we decided to change our plans last minute and John was immediately responsive and very accommodating, he also made a dinner reservation for us at the local pub which was delicious! thanks John for your hospitality!

The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

The location was truly beautiful and easy to access with our vehicle. We enjoyed the privacy of the room and the delicious breakfast in the morning. Recommended for a relaxing stay near Oban!

The Oban area in the Highlands is stunning, and the view from the window at "The Rockies" made me feel that I could sit and just enjoy it forever. I would like to thank you Jennifer for your thoughtfulness, for the lovely breakfasts, and for your help and suggestions. I had a beautiful time (and weather!) at the Rockies and visiting the area.

Beautiful spot in Pitlochry with gorgeous surroundings. Above all a superb host who is friendly, kind, funny and open minded. The bedroom and bathroom were both very large. Comfy bed with a very fine view. There is a TV in the room with BBC and Netflix/Prime. I really wish I could have stayed here longer as there was so much to do. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place. Thank you A....see you again.

I can only highly recommend staying at Pam's! Very friendly hostess, beautiful place with lovely views in a quiet neighborhood close by the center. And you will even leave with your belly full of great breakfast options. Thank you Pam for your hospitality!

Lovely location in the middle of the eco-village with easy access to the woods and a gentle walk to the pubs of Findhorn. The communal lounge is great so you're not just stuck in a room, and the help-your-self breakfast is a relaxed affair.

Susan and Derry are legends! If we could give them and their beautiful mountain view home 10 stars, we would! Their warmth and grace went above and beyond even the best Scottish hospitality, which says a lot. The homemade Scottish breakfasts were to die for. The room and the bed especially were so comfortable and truly every detail was considered in making our stay perfect. We cant wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay with Morag, we felt very welcome straight away and really enjoyed the beautiful homemade granola, bread and shortbread! There were some lovely walks straight from the house and we made the most of the lovely weather we had by exploring as much as possible! It's an amazing location for wildlife and we loved how our stay was contributing to bird of prey charities. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who loves wildlife.

Sara was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm and the bathroom was spotless. The Old Surgery looked out onto the water and was in a great spot for amenities. Would definitely go back there. 👍

Joyce et son mari sont deux personnes très chaleureuses et amicales. Nous sommes arrivées un peu tard avec Maman et ils ont quand même pris le temps de nous montrer leurs animaux et de même pouvoir les nourrir nous-mêmes ! La maison est magnifique, on se croirait dans une chambre de princesse avec une vue splendide sur le fleuve et en pleine campagne. Nous avons été gratifiées d'un énorme arc-en-ciel dans le fleuve à notre arrivée en plus ! c'était exceptionnel. Honnêtement c'est un logement assez moderne, avec une salle de bain qui a des mitigeurs (assez rare dans les Highlands) et donc bien plus pratique que la plupart des autres logements de notre séjour. J'ai regretté n'avoir pu rester qu'une journée !

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.
