It was a trip I had wanted to take for a long time, and I finally stayed for two nights. What an amazing place! Alex is such a kind and wonderful person—he helped me a lot, lit the firewood for me, and shared information about the surroundings. Sleeping was peaceful, finding the area was easier than I expected, and the air was very fresh. Warming up by the stove with firewood was a truly special experience. Thanks to the hot water bottles, I stayed warm and slept comfortably. Along the way, I enjoyed breathtaking views of nature. I hope I get the chance to visit again. Thank you, and best regards!

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

lovely wee pod enjoyed my stay.Easy walking distance to the town The pod was very clean and instructions inside for everything and underfloor heating was great .Outdoor space was nice shame about the weather Nive wee touch having milk in the fridge for a cuppa would stay here again.

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded location surrounded by beautiful scenery, with a touch of 'off grid' ambiance, then this is the place for you. The cabin is gorgeous, comfy and cosy, and with the loch literally a minute or two walk away, perfect for feeling like you have the whole place to yourself. My stay was more chilled than any I can remember anywhere else, and Emma was an amazing host. She provided excellent directions and explanations for the facilities, and responded to every query I had very promptly. Wonderful stay, and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful chalet in a beautiful location. This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in. Cleaned to a high standard and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Great place to stay on our way to start the NC500.

We had a lovely stay, the cabin was very cozy and the outdoor space was amazing. The hot tub was very easy to set up and we could see so many stars from it at night. I loved having the chickens come visit in the morning, I wish we had a longer stay!

I’ve finally had the opportunity to live out my dream and stay in a tiny home and it did not disappoint! Norman and Jillian’s place was beautiful, with just the right amount of space we needed. The entrance was clearly marked from the side of the road which made it easy to find. Checkin was seamless with a lockbox key system. The shower water was hot right away, the bed and linen comfortable, and the outdoor seating area/fire-pit was a fun way to spend our night relaxing after all day hiking. Norman came by to chat with us for a little and he was so kind and personable. He gave us local recommendations and tips that were very helpful with our travels. We even had a family of hedgehogs join us for our bonfire! We wish we stayed more than one night here because it was such a nice space.

We had a fantastic two-night stay here when we came up to a wedding at Achnagairn Castle (which is just a ten minute walk away). Forbes has created a wonderful place with a great use of space. It is situated in front of his house but it is completely private while also being bright and airy (as well as very clean). It’s not just all that which makes this such a great place to stay though. All the small things that make a big difference have been thought about too. An ironing board, hairdryer, great shower, bread in the fridge, eggs and shortbread on the counter plus cut flowers on the table means this is a somewhere that would be a first pick if we are ever looking to stay in the area again. Excellent communication and attention to detail from start to finish. We really enjoyed our stay and it had a lovely view of Nevis which was a bonus!

Cant put into words how accomodating Ms. Alison was. Everything was grand from the simple check in, going above and beyond to help with laundry, and was glad to help with any questions. Awesome location, privacy and the naturistic views of the Highlands beauty on top of it. I was a solo traveler and it was everything I needed. Thanks Ms. Alison!

Me and my dog had a wonderful weekend at Jessica’s cabin it has everything you could need. It’s a great location for local walks we did Ben wyvis which is right on the doorstep and the cabin was exactly what we needed after a long hike, the comfiest bed and a fantastic shower. The porch was a favourite of ours and we seen lots of bird species on the feeders in front which was so peaceful. Jessica was so helpful and had great communication throughout would highly recommend!

Such a unique and beautiful stay, we loved it! Styling, attention to detail, location + views 10/10! The welcome basket was so thoughtful. Sally is a great host.

Snowgate cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway for us and our dog. It was conveniently located and close to a lot of walking trails in the area. Alison and Matt was really helpful and responsive throughout. Would highly recommend this spot if you want to explore the Cairngorms!

Natasha and Paul were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Had a lovely stay and everything was just as described! Would definitely come again 😀

This was a perfect remote location to explore Cairngorms. We liked the return to this sanctuary and feeling like we could truly relax after long hikes and drives. Well appointed to be able to make meals easy, sleeping restful and researching by the fire how to spend our days cosy and seamless. Lovely touches like board games suitable for 2 people and maps/guides were a welcome touch. The coffee machine was a hit!

A great stay from start to finish, prior to arrival Amanda had messaged recommendations of things to do and where to eat which was helpful as it was our first time on the west coast. We arrived and the place was beautiful, and Amanda had already began to heat the hot tub for us. We headed out for dinner and then returned to a fully heated hot tub which was perfect! The bed was very comfy and we woke up to the beautiful views, a lovely stay and we will 100% be back. Would recommend!

We had a great time in Dalavich, it was very quiet and peaceful and the walks around the area and loch Awe are absolutely stunning! I’d definitely recommend and come back!

Fantastic little stay here whilst in the area for work. Booked on the day and the place was ready for us immediately. Definitely worth a stay!

The lodge was perfect, exactly as in the images and nice and cosy. The location was also ideal for a quiet get away with great access to the mountains and the Isle of Skye is a couple hours drive away. Overall Diorbhail’s place was very clean and her communication was quick and clear.

Place was beautiful inside and out especially liked the little pond outside was great to walk the dog around for a change of scenery. Very private and peaceful and on clear nights have a lovely view of all the stars. Hot tub was perfect and the place was nicely heated inside especially the bedrooms. Has everything you need to feel right at home. 5/5

We highly recommend Maria's place. Its very cute and tiny, clean and comfortable. I had the best sleep ive had this whole trip which was lovely! (even with a storm raging outside!) Maria communicated very promptly and was so helpful with any questions. The house is handy to town but very quiet and private.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Sheena's place, weather was great as well so that was a bonus. Everything was as described, clean and easy to access. Hot tub was massive and great for chilling/star gazing in. Would highly recommend!
