The most beautiful place we have visited for both the view and fully kitted house. All amenities you could ever need for available in the house. Completely secluded and private with pristine private splash pool. It is truly heaven on earth with views to match. Highly recommended and worth every cent.

We went away looking for accomodation in a wide open space where we could switch off and relax. The cottage is basic but more than enough for your needs. Hosts are friendly and provide you with space. Tom's comment was: you can walk where you want, you can do what you want. It was a place to heal, enjoy the sunset and look at the stars

Fran's lodging was as comfortable as it was beautiful. We had an unexpected travel delay and were welcomed with enthusiasm despite being quite late. It was just an overnight for us in the middle of a trip, so not a long stay, but given how nice things were we wished we could have stayed longer.

We had a perfect, restful stay in this little gem. The cottage is carefully sited on a rocky hillside overlooking the surprisingly green valley below. Stephanie was the ideal host, and was available throughout. The best part of this place is the indoor/outdoor lifestyle, highlighted by a verandah that felt larger than the home itself. We highly recommend this tranquil getaway, and look forward to our next visit in the future!

My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. There's a friendly cat who came to say hello and hung out with us for a while. The instructions around the stove/showers etc was very clear. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of walkable trails/hikes

The perfect stay in the middle of the Karoo. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet stay, then look no further than Sonnevleg. This was truly remarkableand we enjoyed the peacefulness of the farm. At night you will see more stars than you can imagine with little light polution affecting the views. One of my best farm stays. Thank you for the accommodation.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The place is extremely well stocked and had all the things to make it just about modern but also off the grid. Meeting Iziba really added to all the experience. The host, Damien and Lionel, were the nicest people and went above and beyond to make your stay excellent. As a note: Please be aware that the place is quite a bit away from the motorway and have offline maps downloaded if you are driving to the place.

Great place tucked away in the Cederberg Mountains. Ideal if looking for a retreat and a peaceful time. Nice hiking trails near by. Great and responsive host. The shower water wasn’t hot. Also bring your own soap as I didn’t realise there was no soap provided. Very affordable price and I highly recommend.
