We reserved this place for a family wedding and did not disappoint. The place was easily accessible. The host was great at following up prior to check in and making sure we had access. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I planned this trip to celebrate a Belated Valentine’s Day. We had a good time disconnecting from reality. Everyone at the ranch was very friendly and attentive. La señora Que Cocina muy amable. Se nos acabo el disel para la fogata 🔥 y rápido nos trajieron mas. La comida está rica. Mi hija de 5 años se la paso jugando en el brincolin, la casa de árbol, la resbaladilla. Tiene gallinas y otros animalitos. La verdad no la pasamos agusto, la cabaña que yo agarre no tiene internet que está bien. Definitivamente regresaré :) El host simpre estuvo atente a cualquier duda que tenía y responde en un tiempo apropiado. Muchas gracias Rancho Meling.

Jojoba: entre volcanes y humedales

This was a cute little cabin in a very beautiful and peaceful location! The local host Guti is super friendly and kind. She was very generous with her time to make sure we appreciated all the area has to offer — thank you!! The cabin is off-grid and so it is very simple in terms of amenities (for example there is a good propane stove but there is no small refrigerator). It was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to walk down to a beautiful beach and to two small delicious seafood restaurants. To get to the cabin, we had to drive about 40 minutes on a dirt and gravel road. We had no problems with our regular 2-wheel-drive sedan, but I do agree that it would be smoother/faster in a bigger vehicle, especially if you want to drive into the reserve.
