Good communication with the host and nearby airport fits my requirements. The apartment is too big for two people; it is better to rent for four people :) Thanks for hosting us and being responsive regarding our delayed flight:)

Communication with the hosts was perfect, from checking in, through getting some local recommendations to checking out. The owners are very thoughtful of their guests, there was a basket of local goodies waiting for us in the apartment when we arrived. The only thing I could complain about the apartment are the beds. They're just 140cm wide, quite hard, bouncy and very squeaky. Other than that, all was perfect, the kitchen is perfectly equiped. The place is very peaceful, it was just us and the ocean. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are in our 60's, we did not hire a car but relied on the buses. The Number two bus is right outside, the number 1 & 3 are down the hill and a bit of a walk, easier for us if we walk a bit of a zig zag- up one block stop for a wee sip and then continue :) the number 4 bus stops about one block down and over a block. We took the bus to Lido and enjoyed the swimming complex with a huge pool, lockers , showers. We enjoyed a few jazz venues, walking along the promenade and roof top views. The apartment was lovely and had a nice cross breeze and a washer/dryer. We would book again. :)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully finished apartment in Madeira, which perfectly balances the essence of home with holiday chic. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas and a charming garden oasis created a serene atmosphere, even in February. The private garden, accessible from both the bedroom and the lounge, was a lovely retreat, and the en-suite shower and spacious wardrobes added to our comfort, as well as a separate laundry and a water closet The location next to Mercado dos Lavradores was fantastic. The highlight of our stay was the stunning rooftop glass infinity pool, which offered breathtaking views of Funchal and the sea. This apartment provided the best self-catering experience on the island, equipped with a well-appointed kitchen, quality toiletries, and free parking. We also enjoyed the Savoy Resident Card benefits, allowing us to explore the Savoy Hotels across the island with a 20% discount. Thank you, Daniel and Madeira Nests Team. We can't wait

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Eva und José. Die beiden waren von Anfang an äußerst kommunikativ und versorgten uns proaktiv mit wichtigen Infos zum Check-in sowie tollen Ausgeh-Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Aussicht ist wirklich fantastisch! Leider konnten wir die schöne Terrasse und die Liegen wegen des schlechten Wetters nicht nutzen – bei Sonnenschein ist das aber sicherlich ein großes Highlight. Ein Mietauto ist für die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und generell macht ein Urlaub auf Madeira mit einem eigenen Wagen am meisten Sinn. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

we had a great stay in Catherine's apartment. this is a fantastic and superior apartment which is very well equipped with everything in terms of cooking facilities, utensils etc and is very comfortable and relaxing . The Balcony is spacious with fantastic views of the harbour, ocean and town. The rooftop pool and gym are an added bonus . we had the pool to ourselves on most days during our stay. there is a really good fish restaurant just along the street and the main bus stop for funchal etc is just at end of street we would reccomend this apartment to anyone planning a stay in Camara de lobos. The apartment was very clean with all new equipment . There was some road noise during morning traffic but not too bad as just single lane one way street and there is good standard of double glazing. Catherine and Anna Maria communicated well with us at all times and ensured we had everything we needed.

Well-equipped condo with unbeatable location, right in the centre of the old town of Funchal! The view of the beautiful harbor and the São Tiago Fort is unbeatable, and the hosts were responsive and very welcoming. Parking was easy too, with the garage being two blocks away (only note that it opens at 8am so plan accordingly).

Die gesamte Anlage ist der sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Wohnung ist modern und klar geschnitten. Die Ausstattung der Küche für einfaches Kochen gut ausgestattet. Leider liegt der Balkon den ganzen Tag im Schatten (Reisezeitraum im Februar), im Sommer ist man damit bestimmt gut aufgehoben. Wenn man Sonne möchte geht man ein wenig und ist am Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft, die Aussicht aufs Meer ist wunderschön und man konnte den ein oder anderen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Wir haben sehr viel gekocht, wofür die Küche super ausgestattet ist. Allerdings hat die große Gasflamme nicht gut funktioniert. Alles war sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder !

We stayed at Marco’s apartment with our 1-year-old baby and spent three wonderful weeks there. The accommodation is located in the sunniest part of the island. From the 4th floor, there’s a stunning view of the ocean from both terraces where you can watch the sunset too. The living room is bathed in sunlight all day and overlooks a peaceful park above the plaza. In my opinion, the apartment is even cozier than it appears in the photos and is fully equipped with everything you might need. We cooked and did laundry quite a lot during our stay. There are several restaurants, a hair salon, and a toy shop in the same building as the apartment. Across the street, there’s a greengrocer, and just a few steps away is a shopping mall. The playground is located in park just a block away from the apartment, and at the beginning of the street, there’s a traditional bakery filled with local delicacies. Communication with Marco was very smooth, he’s truly a wonderful host!

Super zentral gelegene Wohnung. Eine schöner großer Balkon mit Blick über die Dächer von Funchal. Alles wie beschrieben und bestens. Die Kommunikation war super und es wurde alles möglich gemacht damit wir eher einchecken konnten und vorher auch schon unsere Sachen unterstellen konnten. Vielen lieben Dank!

Here’s my review of the stay: In short, it was simply perfect! The apartments were clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The view of the ocean and the sunsets was our favorite part. We felt completely at home!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen - die Sonnenuntergänge vom Balkon aus waren unser abendliches Highlight! Die Wohnung war super, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Nellita war immer erreichbar bei Rückfragen und sehr hilfsbereit - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing and it was just as advertised! The place itself was incredible-beautifully furnished, extremely clean, and located in a perfect spot. The spectacular city views, comfortable amenities, and overall ambiance made it feel like a true home away from home. Betty was amazing, providing excellent communication and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The only improvement I could suggest for the property would be to have a washer-dryer combo instead of just a washer. With a combo, we could load the washer before leaving the apartment and ensure the laundry was dry when we came back. As it was, we were technically only able to do one load a day since we didn't spend much time inside the apartment. However, there were plenty of racks to dry the clothes so we managed. Overall, the property itself was fantastic, and I would love to stay there again.

The flat is very clean, it has everything you need for your stay and it is close to the sea. We enjoyed every moment of our holiday, it was great to be able to hear the sea from the flat. I can absolutely recommend the flat and the location, and as a plus the coffee and the baked goods at the bakery below the flats are just great. If you like jogging, this is also the perfect place for that. You can run from the flat to the historical city centre and then run along the sea and watch the waves. Just an amazing experience. There are quite some hiking trails nearby, so after some beach time you can easily go for a wonderful hike. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Overall I can only recommend this place.

Hemos pasado unos días fantásticos en Farinha's apartment. Apartamento confortable y bien cuidado. Camas muy cómodas. Zona tranquila. Bien situado en la isla para moverse a todos lados y conocerla. Todo lo necesario cerca a pie, supermercado, panadería, farmacia,.. Alojamiento muy recomendable. Vanda y Fátima responden cualquier duda rápido. Pot la hora del vuelo nos adecuaron el horario del check-in sin problema. Y con detalle de bienvenida...riquísimos los plátanos y el bolo de miel de caña.

Le logement de Susana est très bien situé poor visiter Funchal et rayonner ensuite dans toute l’île. Il est très agréable, propre, lumineux, vaste et bien équipé. Le balcon est très agréable et la place de parking est appréciable. Susana est réactive et très disponible pour répondre aux questions. C’est une excellente hôte pour un excellent séjour à Madère. Merci!

Perfekte Unterkunft, um Madeira zu entdecken , fussläufig ins Zentrum für Restaurants und Shopping , sehr sauber und komfortabel, bequeme Betten, Reiseführer , Wanderführer , Ladekabel sind da. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell , flexibel und freundlich . Angenehme Wohnanlage mit Tiefgarage und großem Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vorsicht beim Navigieren - nur mit goo. gle maps arbeiten , oder bei Leonel nachfragen . Danke nochmals !

We had a great stay at Paula's place. She responded very quickly to messages and welcomed us herself and showed us around. She also gave us a list of various recommendations- both for places to visit and very good restaurants. She also helped us get a good deal for a car rental. The apartment itself was super well equipped. Paula had even left for us beach towels and a fresh bag of coffee which we found a nice gesture. The location is very good, close to cafes, a big supermarket and down the stairs to the beach. Yes it's steep to get there but this is Madeira! There's not much to dislike. Maybe the bed was a bit hard and narrow but we still slept quite well tired after long days. The water in the pool was also rather on a cold side but it didn't stop the kids from swimming every day.

This is a 5* +++ apartment. Spacious beyond belief. Amazing views of the hillside, watching the lights twinkle, the stadium lights way up on top and the moon rising from behind the hill. Kitchen really well equipped with quality items. Beds big and comfy. Brilliant location for the coast, cable car, old town and restaurants. Betty is a wonderful host. Best Airbnb we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Just a very good calm place. Both the sea and the mountains/forest are readily available. Incredible views from the balcony. The apartment is large, comfortable and tidy. A good gym nearby in 10 minutes walk.

Geweldig verblijf! Fijne host, vriendelijk. Appartement heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Jacuzzi is echt fantastische toevoeging! Ook een heerlijk terras. naar beneden naar het dorpje of de zee lopen is goed te doen, zoek wel de binnendoor wandelpaden op en niet via Google over de grote weg wandelen!

An amazing stay on the beautiful island of Maderia. I would 1000% stay here again and would HIGHLY recommend this spot to others. Super friendly host, upfront communication, BEAUTIFUL grounds with pool and jacuzzi to use at your leisure. Staying here added so much value to our trip! Very, very happy that we booked our stay here!
