The house was as described, spacious and on a quiet street perfect for our family with two young kids. The pool and spa and backyard space was great. We appreciated the beach toys and some indoor toys, as well. The home is really nice but also a vacation home we felt welcome and comfortable in with young kids because it was a loved and lived in home. Would absolutely stay again when we visit SSI.

Everything about this vacation was perfect! The little ones loved the pool and wooded marsh trails. The location was peaceful and the house so roomy. Pete was a terrific host and was easy to reach if we needed anything, which we didn't. Highly recommend if you find yourself fortunate enough to visit Jekyll Island!

Our stay in St. Simons was absolutely perfect, thanks in large part to this uniquely charming cottage. The location couldn’t be better, and the cottage itself was ideal for the two of us and our dog. The heated pool and spa were the icing on the cake—we enjoyed them every single day. The weather was perfect, the island was peaceful yet fun, and some of our best moments were simply relaxing on the porch or in the beautiful backyard. A special shoutout to the hosts, who were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend St. Simons as a destination and this cottage as the perfect home away from home. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family of four stayed at the Mint Julep for our spring break week in mid-March and it exceeded every expectation. The house was perfectly furnished and the layout worked great for our pre-teen kids to be on one side in the bunk room with their own bathroom, and for us parents to be on the other side of the house with an en suite. We enjoyed the screened porch for morning coffee and the kids used the pool every day (we were glad we requested it be heated, definitely a must for March as it was still in the 60s some days). We also enjoyed the firepit and outdoor TV. You can’t beat the location. We walked to dinner and breakfast daily, and my husband ran the trail right outside the front door every day too. We hope to be back again next year.

We arrived with take out from Southern Soul BBQ for our family weekend for 10 adults (21 to 71) and 2 children (11 and 15). We had plenty of room for 5 couples and 2 children to have their own space. The kitchen island and dining table provided plenty of seating for meals and board games. My daughter-in-law brought Mind The Gap (a generational board game) for us to play. It was lots of fun. We brought our shrimp pot and cooker to make a Lowcountry Boil and added some locally purchased crawfish for dinner Saturday. We also had a family ping pong tournament where our oldest son holds the title until next year. Our children took the golf cart and beach gear to the beach at 5th St. while we rode our bikes there. We had frozen yogurt, went to the Art Fair, played putt-putt, and had dinner at CJ’s Pizza. We asked our children if they would rather have a place “on” the beach next time, and they said, “NO! This place was perfect!” Enough said! We’ll be back!

One of the nicest places I've stayed! The pictures didn't do it justice. The house was clean, easy to live in, great layout, and just felt like home. The supply situation was the best I've seen-trash bags, dish soap, coffee filters, dishwasher pods, all provided. There was a little hiccup with the pool heat (maybe it shut off automatically?) but I texted the host and it was addressed within 5 minutes, seriously. No problem the rest of the stay. Nice outdoor spaces to enjoy, and a central location that made it easy to get around. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the steam shower! What a great amenity that was. You'll leave wanting one for yourself.

Beautiful Home that accommodated my family very well while celebrating my Granddaughter’s Wedding. Perfect home to dress in Tuxedo’s and Long Dresses. We loved cooking in the kitchen for our big family. Kitchen was equipped with all our needs. When visiting St. Simons again, this house would be my number one choice!! Thank You for a Lovely Visit.

Sixth or seventh time staying at The Park. It’s a relaxing slice of heaven and perfect for those with 1-2 little kids. A home away from home for us.

Great location. Clean, just what we were looking for. Perfect place to explore Saint Mary’s

We are very thankful for Sammy and all that he did for us! We had some issues with our travel orders and he was very understanding and extremely helpful. The house is perfect for those traveling for work and with small kids. We LOVED being able to utilize the pool also.

Home was nicely decorated, very comfortable and felt like home. The location was walkable to the beach, shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The house is in a great location and very comfortable. The front yard looks much bigger in the pictures. Basically, you can fit two cars and then sit in those cute chairs right next to the cars. But the backyard is fenced and perfect if you bring a dog. We had an issue with the dishwasher, and they came out immediately and resolved it. They will send you a note about basically bringing most of your own supplies (dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc.) which we did, but we still ran out and couldn't run the dishwasher before we left.

We loved our stay at this wonderful home on Jekyll Island. We were close to everything — the beach, restaurants, wetlands, music, the conference center, downtown, and the historical district. The place is well designed with all the amenities and plenty of room to stretch out. We highly recommend this home on Jekyll Island and would not hesitate to stay here again. The hosts were gracious and responsive.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. So much time and detail have been put into this amazing property. They thought of everything! It was the perfect spot to stay. Very close to all the spots we wanted to explore. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back! Thank you for such an awesome vacation spot!

We booked this house for my bridesmaids and I to get ready at for our wedding. It was beautiful and very clean. It’s in a great location to lots of great restaurants and shops. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great house with beautiful upgrades. Easy walk to the beach and close to downtown restaurants. Pet-friendly but you wouldn’t know it based on how clean it’s kept. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a getaway to St. Simons; a great little calm and peaceful place. Also, don’t forget to grab a donut at Dulce Dough. Featured on Triple D, the donuts are like no other!

It was a great stay, especially for 2 families. It has a nice outside sitting area which we used a lot. Short walk to the beach and walkable distance for dinner. It’s in a nice, safe area. Easy check in with code access.

Great stay on Saint Simons. Very clean and well furnished. Great neighborhood and area.

absolutely beautiful home and property. it was everything we were looking for and more for our magical weekend getting married with our closest family around us. Lori was extremely nice and quick to respond question we mightve had. her home was spectacular with so many beautiful views for photos. the pond was a cute little section of the yard but let's not forget about Renegade and Elvis. they truly made the property feel homey and such a country feel. I would recommend anyone looking for a weekend away thats not too far out of florida this location. I hope to be back one day! maybe our 5 year wedding anniversary. I can't thank you enough for our wonderful stay. I hope to see you again soon!

Relaxing place to spend the holiday

We enjoyed one night at this Airbnb before boarding the ferry for Cumberland. It was a great place for our two families to convene after a long drive and regroup before we departed the next morning. The home was very clean and comfortable. Banks was helpful in guiding us through the August app for the entry. *Note to future guests: it is a keyless entry with no passcode. The lock will simply open when the app is open on your phone, your Airbnb account is linked, and by holding the phone near the front door.

This was our first snowbird trip to SSI and we loved it. This very large house was great for us and two dogs. The neighborhood was extremely nice and walkable. Our host was easy to communicate with and work with. Hope to return again!

We loved the covered porch and tons of fenced yard for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the descriptions for the house were all very accurate. My husband was able to run meetings with the excellent internet too! Would happily stay again :)

I couldn't imagine a better experience for our group of 10 guests. Lesley's communication was proactive and kind, and she was exceptionally hospitable. The house itself is also perfect for a group of this size. This will be the first place I look next time I'm in or around St. Simons.
