We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We had an amazing stay at this place. Felt like home from home. Got to spend quality time with family in the area. The weather wasn’t great but it’s Maine in Winter. Shelby was great about sending someone out to plow & sand the road to the property whilst we were there. We would definitely stay here again!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Jen’s cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was in a quiet area, had a beautiful view, and felt very relaxing. There was detailed instructions and information on where things were located within the cabin and how to use the hot tub/stove/etc. We had everything we could have needed. Cooking was made easy with the stove and grill with plenty of utensils/cookware. Plenty of linen/towels. Easy access to the hot tub from the cabin. Two great stores were within a 5 minute drive for all essentials and really great pizza. We felt we had privacy at this location and could really enjoy the space/outdoors. The firepit was lovely and had everything needed to start, even if inexperienced. Thank you Jen!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary with our dog. This little home truly is a work of art. It is so beautiful and unique, and the owners really put some very thoughtful touches into the space. When we first walked in we immediately noticed the beautiful little dog bed, dog dishes, and dog treats - tell tale sign of good people! The hosts were so very kind and communicative. We had a cozy fire in the Woodstove, slept great in the comfortable bed downstairs, and really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub. Perfect winter getaway! Even with the compost toilet 😆

We had a great stay here, the cabin was well stocked with the amenities listed and was very clean. The cabin was both beautiful and comfortable. Additionally, the food from the local restaurants was worth every penny. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful with advice on the must see things in the area.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

We had a wonderful visit at Caitlin’s cozy cabin! Loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the front porch and winding down with a glass of wine in the evening outside. Caitlin and Jackie were both very responsive and great hosts - will be staying here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Great stay; were very accommodating about our repeated, rather last-minute extensions of our stay. All I would say is that if you’re visiting in winter , you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house! But other than that, it was perfect for our needs and we really appreciated how accommodating Hui, Roger, and Cindy were of our changing plans. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen things as well. Tub was really nice for my little one and we enjoyed the wood stove. Also very clear instructions and ultra quick response times. Very private. I’m sure in warmer months the fire pit outside area are really nice; as wintertime guests, once we got the car in, we appreciated being able to park so close and the absence of stairs or steps to navigate and the covered porch in front of the entry for loading and unloading.

My husband and I had a great 3-night stay at Liz’s cabin. It was an enchanting place to spend a rainy long weekend with all the warmth and coziness that one would want from a cabin in the woods. As others have noted, the location is superbly private and relaxing! We loved sitting by the fire, having our morning coffee on the enclosed porch and walking the pond-side trails right outside the front door. The cabin makes for a great jumping-off point, too, for lots of great things to explore in the midcoast including Odd Ale Wives, Oxbow Brewing and some great eats in Damariscotta. We really enjoyed our time. Liz and her husband were awesome hosts.

This cabin was a wonderful place to spend the week, and I couldn’t be more happy. The hosts were communicative and friendly; offering great local recommendations. My girlfriend and I would be more than happy to stay here again!

Die liebevolle Einrichtung und die makellose Sauberkeit machen den Aufenthalt besonders! Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause! Die Abwicklung war absolut reibungslos und unkompliziert. All i can say is .. AMAZING . Small yet has everything you need. Beautiful location .. Extremely clean. Liz was amazing and always ready to answer any questions you may have. Would highly recommend. Even the pillows were great lol. Definitely going back.

It was exactly what we were looking for as a little weekend get away. It was fairly quiet and in the woods just enough for privacy. The fire pit was great and we just really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Only thing notable was the grill did not have a propane tank which was okay to us because we had our own little camping grill but if you plan to use the one there, just a heads up!

If you are looking for a perfect Waldenesque retreat for a few days THIS IS IT. Perfect for those who appreciate the beautiful quiet of life on a marine estuary, who are looking to camp-glamp without intrusion, yet also not ready for a truly remote location (you can get to the charming town of Bath in 15 minutes!). I sincerely hope to return.

Great place and stay! Great hosts. My family (5) and my brother's family (5) rented 2 of the cabins that shared a back yard. This was a perfect setup for two families who want to vacation together but have some separation / private space. A generally quiet location. The cabins were beautiful and authentically Adirondack. There is a "wow" factor when you walk into either cabin. They had everything we needed. The yard was great for a firepit, and games. The HOA beach is a very short drive ~3 min?, or a long walk - maybe ~15 min? (wouldn't recommend this if you're carrying anything), and a really nice setting/view with sandy beach, moored boats, and a nice dock to swim to in a roped off area. Very protected. We could walk or short drive to downtown Booth Bay for all the shops, etc. - great. The botanical gardens were a close drive, and incredible - great for kids also. We even did a ~1hr drive to visit Camden one day - really nice. Overall a great stay and I'd recommend!

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

We love Katharine’s cabin! This is our second year and we plan to make it a tradition. It’s just a great location, and the cabin makes you feel right at home. It’s easy to disconnect and just take Boothsbay in! Thank you for having us!

I stayed for three days, and it was everything the host described. The layout was perfect, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. It snowed during my visit, which ended up being a great experience. Andrea and Jamey were awesome hosts, they truly thought of everything, providing all the essentials and more. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Our family enjoyed staying at Cranberry Point, definitely a slice of heaven as others have commented. If you want to unplug from everything and relax, this place is it! We found everything we needed in the cabins. Close to Acadia, only 20 minutes. We paddled in the cove, saw seals, loons and an eagle, amazing!Biking was easy around Mt Desert and we went on the Acadia carriage roads multiple times! Hoping to return to this special place
