We came to Bar Harbor for the MDI Marathon, and this ended up the perfect location, just two blocks from the start line. Price-wise it was comparable to any hotels for the four of us and the full kitchen helped us save some time and money by prepping most of our own meals. Having laundry was a huge plus for a longer stay and being able to pack less. Everything was well-maintained and Sara gave us great info and local recommendations before our stay. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough about this property or Jeff as a host. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home but probably better. This is the spot. Hot tub and sauna were a great touch for a very relaxing stay. I will be back!!!

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this Maine house--Barb, the property manager was incredibly responsive, helped with a heating issue while we were there and had the repairs done same day--The house was well equipped with everything you need for a family getaway at the beach! puzzles and games galore, kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for family meals (including lobster cooking essentials--bibs, crackers, steam pots) Great little fire pit out front which we enjoyed, and fenced in back yard area so pets or kids can be safely contained :) Linens, towels, all clean and provided--truly a wonderful home away from home, perfect for our family trip to the beach!

We had a lovely time at Krista and Joe’s place. Warm, welcoming, and easy to get to- it was a great hub for a quick family winter weekend getaway to Acadia and MDI. We loved the fact it was dog friendly so we could have our pup join us as well! The house was super clean, comfortable, and convenient on the quietside of MDI. We’d definitely look to book again when we head back! Thank you for being our home away from home!

Since this was my frist time staying at a airbnb house I Sent Tim a text an hour before we got here he promptly called me with positive feeling,he told me his plans for the next few days and who I would need to contact should we need something. the house was exactly as he explained the whole group of us were very pleased with everything avaliable,we spent lots of time out by the lake awesome sunrise sitting on the dock with cup of coffee, it was perfect. I will definitely recommend Tim's house to other people. we really didn't want to leave. I hope we can return someday. awesome job Tim keep up the honesty and good work.

Casa Gris was a wonderful place to stay at for our vacation to Acadia national park. It was only a 10 minute drive to the park. The house was well kept, had great amenities and an awesome tv set up. 10/10 would recommend for the price and opportune location.

Susan’s home was perfect for our long weekend in Portland. We could easily walk everywhere and lots of great shops, restaurants and bars very close. Her home was very comfortable and a nice large space for us to all enjoy!! Also her home was located in a great neighborhood!! We would definitely come back again!!

Margaret is an extremely pleasant host. Our experience couldn't have been better from booking thru checkout. Our stay completely met our expectations and was perfect for our family of 4 (all grown individuals) and our dog. Awesome place to stay with a toddler, 5 minute walk to a park. Easy to walk everywhere or drive anywhere! We would stay here again!

This spacious place was perfect for a getaway! So close to restaurants , shops and Belfast Harbor walk, yet so quiet at night.

Ian's place was great for a girls trip ti Portland. He was a great communicator if I had any questions or cleaning instructions. Will definitely stay again for any future trips to Portland.

This gem of an apartment gave us so much peace and joy on our quick getaway to Portland. The interior reminds me of beautiful homes in Denmark and Norway - humble, functional, cozy, and lovingly designed. Both bedrooms and the washroom were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Loved watching the sunset over the amazing view in the living room, and the cute park/sunset spot just a quick walk away (perfect for bringing our puppy). Sadie was a gracious host and made us feel so at home. Would definitely visit again!

This is a simple, beautiful, unpretentious spot. It is completely unlike a hotel room. it didn't have TV, and that was one of the nicest things about it. It is bright and relaxing to be in. It is very well situated as advertised. We would certainly stay there again!

Scott’s home is one of a kind. It is the perfect blend of Maine working class energy with sophisticated, upscale living… industrial AND comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Sameer’s place was INCREDIBLE! The condo is stunning and feels brand new. He provided such great recommendations and was proactive with everything we could’ve had a question for. You can’t beat the patio overlooking the water! I couldn’t recommend it more!

C’est l’endroit parfait ! Tout est très propre, et il ne manque rien! Kevin est très sympathique. Il a été de bons conseils. J’ai toujours rêvé de venir à OOB l’hiver et j’ai vraiment aimé l’expérience! Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Avec son emplacement et ses portes patios doubles, la vue est splendide! Pour les amateurs du bruit des vagues, de la vue de la mer, des levés de soleil, des longues marches à la plage… c’est l’endroit idéal!

The perfect little getaway! While many restaurants and places in the general area were closed due to the season, it was still just what we needed! We had a cozy weekend in. Would definitely come back!

Very cute place in a great location! It’s a little small, so the ladder is a bit in the way of getting to the kitchen. Think “tiny house” feel, in a fun way. Big people might struggle a bit, but otherwise everything is very functional and practical. Check in and check out is super easy.

Great location! Near everything you would want. Probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever seen.

This was our second stay at Dave’s place and we were not disappointed! Very comfortable apartment with great amenities and Dave generously provided toiletries. The recent kitchen upgrade completes the well-thought out homey appeal. The dog-friendly beach is a short walk and there is a nice local bakery across the street. We will definitely be back!
