This was an amazing stay. Conveniently located very close to Sequoia, but my girlfriend and I had wished we had more time to spend at the AirBnB. Beautiful location. If you are an avid birdwatcher like we are, this is the place to stay!

We had an amazing stay here! The cabin is nestled high up in the woods, very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and back deck are great, and the inside is comfy & cozy with wood pellet stove, a well stocked kitchen, nice L shaped couch and tv, and lots of little amenities that make it stand out. Note that this property is located in Pierpoint, CA. If you like hiking or walks in nature, this cabin is only 30 minutes drive to the great views at Dome Rock and 45 minutes drive to Trail of 100 Giants. If you want to drive further south than that into Sequoia National Forest, I'd recommend an AWD/4WD vehicle for the windy pot hole roads, or stay closer to Kernville/Wofford/Lake Isabella. We enjoyed seeing the deer almost everyday at this cabin. Alex and Jake were responsive and fantastic hosts! Highly recommend.

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

Staying in the cabin was great, the architecture and decoration blend well with the stunning views that surround the place. The places matched pictures and description, there is a giant sequoia right next to the cabin!. Hosts are very helpful, have very clear instructions and responsive. Hope visiting again soon

I grew up in thia area, and I was still in awe of how great of a place this was to relax and unwind. The property feels very private in spite of close neighbors. if you are lucky enough to be there in the spring, you will enjoy Tillie Creek views and sounds! hidden gem in the Kern River Valley, will definitely book again.

My Bf and I stayed here for my birthday to get away from the hustle and bustle. This place is absolutely beautiful with the breathtaking views! It was so peaceful and cozy. Perfect for a couple get away and to relax. We felt right at home and the Duncan’s were so helpful and responsive. All the little details from the hair ties to the s’mores kit, they truly love to share this experience with their guests. Will definitely return ❤️

Gabby, was a gem. Such a pleasure staying at Cabin Grim. Hot tub was clean and plenty of wood to make it hot. Cabin was cozy and had us relaxed right when we walked in. Communication felt so smooth and she was able to accommodate our animals which made life so easy. Truly an experience me and the family would do again. P.S. Ask about the private chef. Chef and wife were so nice and accommodating. Food was amazing.

Perfect place to get out in the wilderness and stargaze at night. It is far away enough to feel like a vacation, but close enough to visit the mountains and lake. John (the host) was very nice and helpful. The house was very cute and clean and pre-heated by our host :) The beds were comfy and the linens were clean. We had a wonderful time exploring the property and Al (our dog) had a blast running and rolling around in the yard. Great getaway!

We loved our time here! This is our second time staying at this Airbnb and we’ll keep coming back. The spacious, fenced yard is perfect for our two large dogs. The inside has such a fun theme! And it’s perfectly situated for access to Kern River and Lake Isabella for outdoor access. Will definitely be back!

We've returned to Lisa's cabin time and again, as it holds a special place in our hearts. It’s become our home away from home when we are craving proper winter weather and snow, but also a quiet peaceful getaway spot the rest of the seasons. It is consistently warm and welcoming and we love knowing exactly where everything is and how much is already available and provided (plenty of cookware, pantry staples, laundry necessities). We are grateful to have this cabin as a getaway and Lisa's attentive and responsive hosting style makes every stay effortless.

This is one of the best Airbnb's we have ever visited. Look no further if staying on the Kern river. The home is very clean, very comfortable, and in a great location. Easy check in, parking onsite, allows pets, friendly & responsive host :) We were impressed by the amazing kitchen and super comfy Nectar mattress. Will be back.

Joanie’s place is a great value. Charm and cozy cabin with peaceful surroundings. Perfect place to chill after a day of hiking. The sounds of the creek water flowing right next to the deck and the frog symphony were great pluses to a perfect night of sleep. Convenient location with easy access to some of the most beautiful hikes of Sequoia National Forest.

Nicole was a great host. I enjoyed the space and through a ball with my dog outside. It is a comfortable cabin to spend some time in nature. I loved the pine walls so pretty and cozy. Best, Maureen

This is the perfect place for a couple to stay at while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The very tall ceiling to floor windows, breathtaking views, and proximity to the Sequoia National Park entrance are hard to beat. In addition, there's a great trail down to the beautiful river which had amazingly beautiful rocks. I booked this for my husband and I along with my son and his wife, so 4 people can stay comfortably as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom. We also enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Thank you for helping us to create wonderful memories which we'll cherish for a lifetime!

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

Absolutely beautiful place photos don’t do it justice. Fit my family of 8 and Helen was very gracious to allow our senior dog to join us. Very relaxing weekend here and everyone wants to come back. Thank you!

The cabin was very clean & cozy. The kitchen had all the amenities & utensils needed for cooking a meal. We slept comfortably and woke up to snow. It was the perfect weekend getaway with amazing views!

Wonderful stay in one of my favorite areas. Christopher’s mountain home was beautiful and very clean. Detailed information given for every aspect of the stay, and clean up was a breeze. We’re grateful that his place is pet friendly as we always bring our little dog along for our family getaways. Perfect place for our family of four. We will definitely be revisiting in the future. Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

It’s very beautiful location and nice neighborhood! We had a lot fun with our 2 dogs. Definitely will come back again!
