We have stayed here multiple times and always love it. Beautiful views, lots of space, and great hosts. We were there during a terrible storm, which knocked power out on the whole island. Erika and Rob were super helpful and responsive and helped us get the generator going so we had all the essential power we needed. Highly recommend.

Cherie is a very pleasant person and makes you feel right at home! I've already booked another stay :)

Had an amazing stay despite the weather! Woke up to a beautiful morning and they wanted us to enjoy it so told us no rush to leave stay as late as we wanted! Very friendly, easy to talk too! Would recommend very highly! Will be back for sure!

From amazing communication to more amenities than advertised we were beyond happy with this stay. The house has everything you could need to play in the adjacent ocean or cook or BBQ. We were able to see so many things right from the deck, yard or beach : seals, little deer, bunnies, shells, starfish, clams, crabs, heron and many more. It’s walking distance to a little local pub but call first as tables and even food was limited. Lots of near by hikes through moss filled forests with huge old trees and we even saw a family of bears. Highly recommend this peaceful vacation spot.

Let me tell you, this place was truly something else. For an off grid cottage resort, it felt like home. So Magical and peaceful that words can't really describe it. Both Mark and Cynthia's hospitality was phenomenal. They have truly built a unique resort off grid. Must experience it for yourselves, like I said, words can't describe it other than go visit them. Cynthia made our boys home made cookies that were out of this world!! Mark was so caring making sure we were always comfortable and always had our wood pile stocked. I can keep going and going but I'll end it like this, We will be visiting their lovely cottage again and again. Next time for us will be to experience summer there. Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

This is the third time we have stayed at Helen’s suite and it is great. Helen is responsive and polite, and the suite was in great condition as always, including a large, comfortable king size bed and a spacious bathroom. We will definitely book again. Thank you Helen!

David & Cami’s cottage was beautiful. The backyard is breathtaking and picturesque. It’s a cozy place with a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely place! A note for future guests with overstimulated dogs: the neighborhood is nice, but if you walk a couple of blocks away from the cottage, you’ll encounter lots of dogs in their backyards. They are just guarding their homes, but it might come across as aggressive.

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and felt just like home. The bonus was it's just a stones throw away from the beach.

It was a great place to stay! Liz is a great host! Her place is comfortable and cozy in a quiet neighbourhood but close to great restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again

We rented this place so a group of us could be together after a family funeral. It was a bright, warm and peaceful place, perfect for hanging out and chatting, cooking, taking walks and being together. Harry was friendly and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the spices and condiments and little extras. We would definitely stay here again.

Great to have a getaway very peaceful place. House is fully equipped to cook whatever you want. Place looks very nice in pictures but when you get there it’s much better. Will come back to this place. Steve is a great host

Adele was an exceptional host. The house was beautiful and very clean. Felt at home. Beds are very comfortable and I appreciated the blackout blinds in the bedrooms. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

This cabin was beautiful. Spectacular view of kootenay lake. Walking distance to beaches. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay there again

We enjoyed our stay at Joscelyn and Jason's home. We were a group of 6 with a baby and a dog. Their home is very comfortable with a great deck and yard. We will return on our next visit to Telkwa.
