We had an amazing stay at Marjories cute little cabin. It was set in a serene location in nature and was very private. It was exactly as described . We would certainly go back some time in future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Beautiful and peaceful chalet and property. Exactly as described. If you are looking for accommodations to step out of your busy day to day life, this is the right choice! Erika was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. The check in was straightforward and the instructions/house rules were easy to follow. Great for adventurers, friends, or families. The beds are super comfortable including the pillows which is always a nice surprise! The heating in the chalet and in the pod was excellent. The shower pressure was perfect, there is lots of firewood, and the fresh eggs were delicious. It was easy to get into town. Everywhere we went people were super friendly. Highly recommended for short or longer stays. Thank you!

Emphasis on the MICRO! The place itself was very clean. The bed is SUPER comfy, though beware that the ceiling is VERY close, and it can be hard to sit up fully in there. The "yoga area" definitely would be impossible to do yoga in as you can barely sit up straight in there as well. It's a 15 minute walk to a very beautiful, semi-secluded portion of beach. The property is very chill and pretty as well. The one negative thing I found was that the main window had a direct view of the bed from the driveway, with no curtain, so doesn't feel very private. Though we never met her, Karen was very responsive and helpful.

I had a blissful three-night solo stay in Wildwood Cabin #1. The cabin is spacious and well-appointed with all the essentials. The baseboard heaters and the wood stove ensure that it is warm and cozy. It is so dark and quiet at night, which makes it incredibly peaceful. On my last night, it rained heavily and I fell asleep to the sound of the rain on the roof. The cabin is a ways out of town, so you'll need to come stocked, as I did, or have a vehicle. However, I got there all by public transit and it was very smooth. I enjoyed hiking up Mt Gardner on one day and into Snug Cove via Bowen Island's huge network of trails. I attended a yoga class one evening, which was wonderful. Reg is a great host. I enjoyed chatting with him, and appreciated the coffee and tea top-up when I realized I'd left a bag of supplies at home! Overall, an amazing stay, and I can't wait to go back!

Loved our stay at the cabin. Was very relaxing and had so many cute touches. Had the best night sleep here, with how cozy it was and quiet. Wish we could have used the fireplace but we had the one night and were tired from our drive.

We had a lovely stay at Christina's cabin. A few things stood out to us, notably the fact that, though rustic, the water pressure and temperature was great. While outside of the host's control, there are a few things to note. 1) the drive is very, very muddy (as mentioned in the posting) after snow or rain. It may not be doable for every vehicle, but cars with all wheel drive and high clearance will manage just fine. 2) the neighbour's dogs visit. This is only notable because we brought our dog who is not friendly with other dogs, and we were excited to have him explore the property. There were many times we had to pop him back in the cabin as the neighbour dogs ventured too close. These dogs are beautiful and very very friendly, but did limit how much our dog could be in the yard, which doesn't have a full fence (as reflected in the photos). All in all, bring a few bottles of wine, some good friends and board games for this cozy cabin getaway. 10/10 would return!

I can’t say enough how amazing this place was! I’m totally gonna rent it again… It was like it was out of a magazine! Cheri was super friendly, but also extremely privacy conscious. You have your own little yard even! The surrounding outbuildings are adorable and you feel like you’re in a movie. I can’t wait to come again! Personally, I thought this bed was the best bed I’ve ever slept in in my life

Comfortable beds and facilities. Great deep bathtub! Our 6 year old loves the Hobbit’s loft room and the adorable farm animals. The place is cute with many thoughtful touches. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was thoughtful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful spot! We will return 100%. It was so clear that this cabin was intentionally put together with love and not just thrown together. The linens and furniture were really nice quality. The animals were absolutely lovely. The property was beautifully maintained. The signage and directions were very clear. The hot tub was perfect temperature.

Very cute place with great amenities, perfect for a little retreat! I loved the huge window in the living room area and cozy little futon, amazing place to read a book and relax. Plus it is close to Comox airport if you're catching an early flight from there. I'm definitely going to be checking if the cabin is available the next time I go to Comox! Thank you, Dawn!

We loved our stay! It was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the beach access and even had a lovely beach fire while watching the sunset. 10/10 would stay again.

Great cozy spot, we brought our dog and he loved being able to run around off leash. The space is perfect for a quick weekend getaway and is super close to the town. Couldn’t recommend it enough, if you are able to book it I highly recommend jumping on the chance as it’s often booked up. Thanks guys it was amazing :)

Our experience at Refuge Bay was truly amazing and precisely what we needed for rejuvenation and reconnection. I have experienced many glamping accommodations, but this particular location and its amenities surpassed all expectations. The sauna was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed brewing Nespresso coffees, gathering around the fire, and stargazing with binoculars. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was exceptionally well-equipped, with thoughtful consideration given to every possible need or desire. The host was highly responsive during the entire booking process and addressed any inquiries we had during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our experience. Their guest portal was a thoughtful addition, allowing us to explore the various add-ons available, and we appreciated the opportunity to personalize our getaway with a charcuterie board and a fresh floral arrangement. We can’t wait to go back and experience this place in different seasons!

We absolutely loved our stay. It was quiet, peaceful and perfect for a getaway. The cabin is cozy and clean. No detail has been missed. There is obviously high pride in ownership. The hot tub area is so peaceful and serene. We would love to come back in good weather and use the bikes and fire pit! The location is outside the city so there is no noise or light pollution in the evenings. We appreciated the fresh eggs in the fridge, the snacks on the counter, and even the extra toothbrush. The binder of local info was so comprehensive….although we chose to stay in and enjoy the coziness of the cabin. Thank you Jaqueline! You are definitely a “super host”!

This was one of the most magical and surreal Airbnb experiences I’ve had thanks to the hosts hospitality and craftsmanship! If you’re looking to disconnect and get some unique, peaceful and rusty cabin experience, I highly recommend!

It was our first time staying in a tiny home and we absolutely loved it. Just enough space for everything, budget friendly and was in a private space. Hosts were very accommodating for all our needs.
