We used Johanna’s place as an overnight stop on our way home. Beautiful space. Nicely appointed. Great location. And honestly our best night’s sleep of our entire 15 day trip. Comfy bed, dark room. Johanna was friendly and responsive. Great doggie host, complete with blankets, treats and water bowl. Place was clean and comfortable.

We loved this Beach House! The house was clean and the kitchen was full of cooking supplies. There was a variety of pots and pans to choose from. This was appreciated since we are picky about the type of pans we cook our food in. The host provided a binder full of menus for local restaurants and recommendations. Information on activities to do while visiting was also included within the binder. The house included a small fire pit that could be used at a distance from the house. It was just the right size to maintain safety and still be cozy from warmth. Dmitry and his team communicated clearly and were kind by providing us with information about the local St.Patricks Day Parade. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Perfect place to bring your family for a getaway trip. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Special thanks to the host for helping me resolve a package delivery issue.

We had a fantastic stay at Ninka’s place! The home was impeccably clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Ninka was very responsive and provided excellent local recommendations - we especially appreciated all the firewood on hand to use in the two fireplaces in the home. In addition, she brought over sleds for my daughters so we could take advantage of the snowy hills on the property. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting this area. Five star experience.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Gaby's home. Unlike many Airbnb hosts who design their spaces to feel like generic hotels, Gaby’s place radiated warmth, personality, and charm. It felt like a home that had been truly lived in and loved, with thoughtful, personal touches like family photos, unique art, and an impressive collection of books that added so much character. Gaby herself was an incredible host—always responsive, friendly, and approachable. She’s the kind of person I'd love to sit down and chat with. The setting was absolutely stunning. We had snow, the lake was frozen, and the wintry view was really peaceful. The abundance of wildlife made it even more special—we spotted deer, bald eagles, a couple of foxes who visited every morning, and even a bobcat prancing around the house one evening. We also love to cook, and Gaby’s kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to play chef If you’re looking for an authentic and unforgettable Airbnb experience

we rented La Spiaggia in December, and while it's mostly going to be more beautiful and better in the summer (since it's a beach house) it was still perfectly fine in the winter; well insulated and with good strong heaters. speaking of the beach I can't stress enough of how close this place is to the water; I'm talking literally ten steps to the sand. I would certainly recommend the place as a great summer getaway!

We had a great stay at the Yellow Cottage! Scott was proactive in checking in on our needs and was extremely responsive. The guidebook was a great resource especially for reserving rides into the village for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend upstate! We were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and cozy fireplace. Perfect location just a quick 10 minute drive into town.

The area was absolutely beautiful. Valhalla Lake was private with stunning views. The cabin was exactly as it was described and the book of directions that was left for guidance was easy to follow.

Stayed at Adam and Nicole’s place for two nights while attending a festival nearby. Was a good size for myself, my daughter and a friend. The place itself is adorable and comfortable. Like staying in the three bears house in the woods with wifi, and gorgeous private wooded backyard and view to the lake across the road. The upstairs was a little stagnant upon arrival, but we opened the windows and put the fans on, which made it much better for sleeping at night. The house book and notes were very helpful. Kitchen and bathroom clean and well stocked! Loved it! Best of all, the hosts were accommodating and communicative. 🥰

Our stay was perfect! The home was so clean and Denise even left us a baby gate for our 1 year old. Denise was very responsive and provided great recommendations of places to eat and things to do. There is a private beach across the street but we walked about .25 miles down the street to the Silver Sands State Park beach so that our 1 year old could play in more shallow water before high tide. We would highly recommend and will be back!

Chris’ place was immaculately decorated and felt peaceful! Beautiful spot right on the pristine lake, foliage being in peak season definitely made things even better. Close to fun fall towns like Sleepy Hollow and Cold Spring, but honestly could just spend every minute relaxing at the well-stocked home. You can tell Chris and his family take pride in their home and are happy to share it to price the best experience for their guests. Chris was quick to respond if needed and went out of his way to make a trip quickly to ensure we were properly taken care of at the home. 10/10 - would recommend!

Our stay at the Lake House Cabin was nothing short of magical! This charming 1940s cabin offered the perfect backdrop for celebrating my wife's birthday with our adult children. The stunning views of the lake were a highlight, providing a serene and picturesque setting that made our family gatherings truly special. We loved the easy access to kayaks and a canoe, which allowed us to explore the water and create lasting memories together. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with family and enjoy nature, I can't recommend this lake house highly enough. We left with full hearts and plans to return!

Great place for our family to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. Peaceful and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Bathroom was spa-like, beds were comfortable and warm. Big TV and comfy couch was great for a family movie night. Kitchen was very well equipped. Will definitely come again!

We stayed here for 7 days with 2 small kids (2 and 4 years old) and wow was it amazing. The home is spacious and has everything we needed inside and outside the house. I could not have asked for anything else from the home and the dock was just so awesome to have, even caught 10+ fish right off the side. We rented a boat for a day from a marina and were able to come in and out of the backyard/house with no problems. I wish we could stay here for a whole month, but have to go back to real life!

What an idyllic cabin on the lake. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Lots of activities right at hand, from games indoors to the pickleball court nearby. We had a wonderful experience.

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

We wanted a place where me and my two girls could enjoy a home away from home while we visited nearby Gilmore Girls sites and this place didn’t disappoint it was perfect!

My family and I came back for a second year to stay at the West Hill Cabin because we loved it so much last year! Michael is so accommodating and extremely responsive. We can’t rave enough about the Great Room - that couch is so comfortable and my kids love the toy closet and protector! Looking forward to another stay next year.

We had a lovely 5-day stay at the cabin on the lake! It was just what we needed. When the weather was nice, we hung out on the dock - there was a hammock to relax in, chairs in the shed, boats to explore with (I went out in a kayak a few times). Lake was peaceful and pretty. The cabin itself was quirky and nice. Yes, hot inside during the days, but with the fully surrounding screened in porch, there was no need to stay inside! Even when it rained, we could be "outside" without being in the elements. The kitchen was well stocked, coffee at the ready, there were plenty of towels and sheets and bed (though we only needed one!), shampoo/ conditioner in the shower, wood ready for the fireplace, board games and more. Honestly, it had everything you'd want for a little getaway. The spot felt secluded while only 5 minutes away from a supermarket. [Okay, you could hear Rte 8 traffic a bit, but it served as calming white noise!] I'd definitely return again...

Great house and great value! If you are looking to play some golf in the area, I recommend Centennial Golf Course and Putnam County Golf Course. The house can be a little tricky to find if you are using Google maps or ordering Ubers - best to use Waze and drop a pin for the Uber!
