Caniço : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

prima huisje op een prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht. Even wennen aan de steile en smalle wegen maar na een paar dagen ben je het gewend. Met de uitleg van Johnny kun je een heel steile weg naar het huisje vermijden. Garage aanwezig met een steile inrit. Het huis is voor 2 personen erg ruim maar voor 4 volwassenen KAN de huiskamer net te krap zijn door 2 minder comfortabele stoelen. Bedden lagen heerlijk en waren perfect. 2 badkamers, 1 met bad en 1 met een heerlijke douche. Het terras buiten ligt op het zuiden met een prachtig uitzicht. Funchal ligt op 45 minuten rijden, grote supermarkt binnen 15 minuten. Keuken in goed uitgerust. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad in dit perfecte huisje waar je alleen zit, zonder eigenaar op hetzelfde terrein. Alles perfect alleen de huiskamer heeft een flinke echo door de lege vide. Maar verder een complete aanrader als je een auto tot je beschikking hebt.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt und die Lage ist sensationell. Es war alles da was man braucht und uns wurde auch vor Ankunft das Reisebett aufgebaut.

The house looks just as on the pictures. It is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you may need for a perfect holiday on Madeira. Right next to the sea with a little "swimming pool" and parking space just next to the house. Location: center north part of the island. Perfectly situated for all excursions (Levadas, coastal villages, Funchal,...). Surfing spot at 200m, if you are into surfing Constantino's house is the must stay for you. Need to know: it is on the north, less sunnier side of the island and you definitely need a car. Restaurants, bars, small groceries and wine stores nearby though. Constantino was the perfect host, communication was easy, welcome was warm, we got a lot of useful tipps and even sweets and Madeira wine as welcome gift. If we look for negatives, hard to find any. Except perhaps that on rainy days one bedroom was a bit damp. We were only 2 so no problem. Did we miss something? Maybe a coat hanger near the door ;-) A 100% recommandation.

The house on the photos and in reality is exactly the same, has everything you may need. The house is like brand new and feels spacious. The kitchen is FULLY equipped, including toaster+grill, juice squeezer, boxes for food, two types of coffee machine (one for Delta capsules). There was one thing we found missing to give it 100/100 (now only 99/100) - the 2EUR Ikea milk brother ;-) There is foil for sandwiches, basic spice and olive. This is simply great if you do cook ans see no point buying all this little things when you are there for a week. And big freezer that can store a body :) Now seriously, the house is great, including the pool which was warm (not like "oh, I'm sorry this time heating is broken"). Jorge was very helpful all time around each time we asked him for some smaller and bigger things. Great host! One of the best AirBnB experience so far, pity we got so sick in the middle of our stay. One thing some might not like - relatively soft mattress.

Angela's place was a great size for 4 people, beautiful view of the ocean, sunsets. Angela met us personally for a tour of her place with instructions on everything. A good location to sights on the Southwestern side of Madeira. A reasonable drive to other parts of the island. A grocery store right around the corner came in real handy. The cake and a bottle of wine were a nice gesture.

Our small 2 floor home had a traditional feel and Zita's attention to detail came through everywhere A charming little home with a wonderful terrace to take in the views and sip a coffee while wasting away the morning reading a book. if you like to be away from it all, this is a gem.

Estadia perfeita! O espaço estava limpo e bem equipado. O anfitrião foi muito preciso na localização e no chekin e super atencioso. Recomendo o espaço e se possível voltarei novamente.

La estancia en casa de Isabel fue muy buena, el alojamiento está bien equipado, tiene unas vistas increíbles, y una buena iluminación y privacidad. La señora Isabel fue muy agradable y nos dio toda la información que necesitamos, le pedimos un ventilador porque sentimos un poco de calor y había algún que otro mosquito, a pesar de no tenerlo hizo las gestiones necesarias para proporcionárnoslo lo que influyó positivamente en nuestra estadía ya que con el ruido del ventilador se sentía menos el sonido de los carros de la autopista y fueron más agradables las noches. La casa tiene acceso por unas grades escaleras, para personas que tienen edad avanzada o movilidad reducida no es muy recomendable pero para nosotros eso no fue ningún problema. La ubicación muy buena, puedes ir caminando hasta el centro de Funchal si quieres hacer un poco de ejercicio de lo contrario tienes paradas de autobús cuando bajas las escaleras. Sin duda una buena estancia y una buena anfitriona.

Where do I begin? The trip was unbelievably beautiful. From the amazing Airbnb location with an even more amazing host to the majestic and magical scenery of the island. The landscape was astonishingly lush and green, the water a glistening blue like I have never seen before. For anyone into hiking or just a relaxing vacation on the beach, this island has got it all. The hikes are unparalleled! There is something for everyone, from relatively easy, flat, and stunning coastal hikes to intense routes at crazy elevation. Our host Bruno was extremely helpful and a kind soul. The amenities, bathroom, and bed were clean and well maintained—especially the Jacuzzi with the extraordinary view! Bruno, meu amigo, you are most definitely living the dream on this incredible paradise of an island. Once again, thank you for everything! We would love to come back someday. Grand logement extrêmement propre, facile d’accès, proche du centre ville avec parking, le rêve !!!

We stayed at Carlos' place last year and loved it so much that when we decided to come back to Madeira, we knew it was where we wanted to stay again. The place is huge with a cute little balcony and has everything you need. It's easy to get pretty much everywhere, there's a parking about a two minute walk from the place, a huge grocery store less than 5 mins away and a quick walk to the centre of town. Of course, you can't miss the best little beer bar FugaCidade about a 5 minute walk from there. Carlos' place is THE place to stay in Funchal!

This is a 5* +++ apartment. Spacious beyond belief. Amazing views of the hillside, watching the lights twinkle, the stadium lights way up on top and the moon rising from behind the hill. Kitchen really well equipped with quality items. Beds big and comfy. Brilliant location for the coast, cable car, old town and restaurants. Betty is a wonderful host. Best Airbnb we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

We really liked the quiet location and the large outside terraces. The flat has a bus stop near bye. It was nice to be met on arrival by our host Ricardo, this personal touch was appreciated and after meeting Ricardo we were confident he would go out of his way to assist us if we had a problem.

This was the perfect stay for my Madeira getaway! I was greeted by my host who was friendly and welcoming and showed me everything I needed to know, and then he left me to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean. My host was always available to answer questions and even helped me with a transportation recommendation to get to and from the airport. I found the location to be ideal for everything that I wanted to do, and grocery shopping was close by. I am already thinking about my next trip to Madeira and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect location! Convenient and functional apartment

Chayanne is an attentive and kind host who went out of his way to make our stay extra comfortable, and gave us useful recommendations for our trip. The flat is peaceful and spacious and has everything you need; great selection of crockery, knives and pans, and one could easily stay a month here comfortably. There is a decent sized pool and a cosy balcony to enjoy the views. I highly recommend this place and I hope to come back here next time!

Tolle Lage im Zentrum von Funchal. Wir waren begeistert von dem grandiosen Ausblick über die Stadt. Fernando hatte im Vorfeld hilfreiche Anweisungen für den Check-in geschickt, so dass die Unterkunft einfach zu finden war. Wir fanden auch klasse, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden war. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Ana hat uns persönlich begrüßt und in Details alles erklärt. Zudem stand für uns in der Wohnung einen Korb mit frischem Obst und die Kekse aus Madeira. Vielen lieben Dank für diese nette Geste! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit den passenden Kaffeepads. In der Wohnung waren sogar Strandhandtücher da, die wir für unsere Badetage im Meer benutzen konnten. In der Umgebung sind sehr viele tolle Restaurants, die in der Fußweite erreichbar sind. Ein Platz in der Tiefgarage war Gold Wert, weil in der Umgebung freie Parkplätze sehr rar sind. Wir bedanken uns bei Ana für Ihre Gastfreundlichkeit! Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Madeira sehr genossen 😊
