Perfect for what we needed. Very close to city centre, beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen was clean with all the amenities needed to make us feel right at home.

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

Great place great hosts!

We needed a place to stay after our days of working on our narrow boat for 3 days. The house was fairly local to the marina so ideal. We were out all day but able to come back to a comfortable house with a great shower. Lots of hot water and the bed was super comfortable. Plenty of shops in Swadlincote to pick up supplies.

we had a lovely few days at Paul's place, perfectly place for us to visit my son and his new baby ....comfortable and homely. would recommend to anyone.

We had an absolutely fantastic two-night stay at this incredible property! From the moment we arrived, it exceeded all expectations. The listing was accurate, but in person, everything was even better than described. The cottage itself was immaculate and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches throughout. The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were highlights of our stay—luxurious, private, and perfect for relaxing. The games room and tennis court added so much fun, especially for some friendly competition! The surrounding views were breathtaking, with fields and scenic walks right at our doorstep. It truly felt like an escape into nature while still being close to all the comforts and luxuries one could want. The hosts were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always available for any questions or needs. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the stay even more special. This is easily one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to return :)

We had a great time at Owlet with our 6 month old boy. The hot tub was relaxing, and the dome was both spacious and cosy at the same time. Log burner and heated blanket helped keep us warm at night. Sarah was very helpful and kind, gifting us a new chilrdrens book to mark the stay as well as a generous welcome bundle of snacks and cider. Amazing value and would fully reccomend to family and friends. Thanks Pete Gemma and Henry.

Great stay as a family of 5 with two children and 1 infant. The stay was pleasant and a great location. We visited alton towers as well as Thorpe and Ashbourne. Great communication. Great recommendations. Very nice cottage and had everything you need to cook, relax, etc. Rooms were good, we didn't love the bed but it's personal choice. A bit noisy having our baby in the travel cot but we slept okay. We didn't get to explore any walks but seems to be in such a fab location to do some.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

Had such a lovely relaxing time at nicks place - so peaceful and such a beautiful view. Nick was very friendly and had an instantly calming energy about him. He gave me a few moments to get settled and then showed me around, explaining how to use the sauna and about the natural pool. It was great to have the natural pool there - a real treat after the sauna! He was happy to let my nosey dog roam around. It was easy to tell that he is very passionate about the work he’s doing at his place.

We had a lovely weekend, it had everything we needed and we enjoyed the tennis court, tablet tennis and board games. Lovely walks around the area, and the village nearby had a little shop which supplied the extras we'd missed from our Sainsbury's delivery. The host answered our questions before we came away and provided detailed instructions on how to reach the property. The kitchen had everything we needed for 11 people and we were glad of the dishwasher.

What an amazing place Scott has , the location is perfectly located to many walking routes and so much more! We went out on a few walks and coming back to Scott's place was exactly what we needed , home away from home , hot tub to relax in . The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Whatever your reason for staying there the apartment will certainly cater to that! We had a lovely family holiday here. The house is so beautiful and our every need was catered for. We were left a hamper which was a lovely touch. The garden is great and as the weather was so good my granddaughters were able to play outside safely. The neighbour was so helpful when we chatted outside offering dining suggestions. We also went on some great walks whilst there. All in all a good time was had by all.

This property is spacious and well equipped. The garden is secure for children and peaceful to sit in. The bedrooms are comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The location is ideal for exploring Severn Vale, the Malvern Hills, the Cotswolds and other surrounding areas.

David is great host - friendly and welcoming. He was very flexible and accommodating with my long stay booking. And very responsive when I needed help with fixing a problem. Many thanks, David.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

We had a really lovely weekend stay at Tracey’s place. The place is stylish and spotless. Would definitely visit again if we go that area.

The cottage was idyllic and in a great location. It is very quiet and well equipped . parking is next to the cottage and away from the main road. There is a Tea room very close. The cottage is a short walk into Stratford itself. The local pub is only 5 minutes away as well. Overall its a great place to stay and very comfortable .
