The Cheerful Canton Getaway • Close to Canton Lake

We drove from Texas to hunt and were happy to find this place instead of staying at a hotel. The town closes down pretty early during the week so plan ahead on supplies and something for dinner if you're getting in later.

The place was amazing! It's a perfect quiet weekend getaway from the city. It's beautiful outside and very peaceful. About 15 minutes from town which is convenient. The place was very well kept and lovely. Would stay again !

The Rook Mansion and Murder Mystery

Will and his staff were great. We were personally greeted and given a tour of the home. The castle/ house is quiet. The mystery tour was very fun for our variety of ages (3-65) and the steaks and shrimp were great! The home, built during the prohibition era, is being renovated and hopefully restored to original so there were a couple of things that didn't work - some dust, all standard in a home of this age. I would love to see the carpet upstairs removed and gorgeous hardwood floors revealed. This home is well on its way to be a definite statement piece for western Oklahoma. They have a huge toy room for the Littles and a hot tub and tanning bed for the older ones as well as a refreshing sitting porch off the master. Our family played games and poker and had a great time. Will was always extremely responsive. This is a much hidden gem in Western Oklahoma!

Stayed here while doing some work in Chester. This house was perfect for my coworker and I. More modern than what someone would expect for the location. Great place to stay if you are in the area.

This was a very welcoming and cozy home! Very clean and tranquil! Great place for a quiet retreat with family. Great assortment of books and ample options to stretch out to read in absolutely comfort. Highly recommend this home to anyone who doesn't want to be disappointed!!

We were on a hunting trip. The space was a definite plus! Plenty of room in bedrooms and cots were helpful too. Kitchen is adequate for what we needed. Grill, TV, couches, washer and dryer all worked well.

Authentic Country home

The old farm house was so comfortable and homey! Reminded me of our farm back in PA. Loved the peace and tranquillity. Loretta was an amazing hostess! So friendly and kind. Her cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

Lake House on Prairie Road

Nice and quiet large home with many things to do. Great place for a big family, had lots of room. The beds were comfy, great AC, oven worked well, lots of games, good porch for drinking coffee and visiting. Could walk to the sandy beach at the lake or walk to a good smash burger restaurant/bar with cold beer for those 21 and over. Lindsey is great to work with and even made sure I had a rolling pin to make my cobbler! We will stay again!

This house was perfect for our group.The kitchen and laundry were well stocked and the playroom with toys and books were a highlight. Loretta was a gracious hostess and we enjoyed the delicious cinnamon rolls she provided! We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Noble House B&B Gene Wheeler Room

Stayed at the Noble House while attending a wedding in Thomas (about 30 minutes away). Such a fun and historic building and the room was very comfortable. We both slept great! Breakfast was delicious and it was great talking with Anita and Alvin (owners) in the morning about the hotel, town history, AND finding out that my father in law and Anita were classmates from Carnegie, Oklahoma. Small world and would highly recommend staying here if in the area. Great value for all that you get.
