This place is perfect for big families looking for a cozy and comfortable stay far from the buzzing city. It has hot tub and pool (perfect for summer getaway). We enjoyed our new year's eve celebration. Big spaces and clean. Basement is also spacious with a bar and games. Hosts are responsive and considerate.

Great location!! It was well maintained, very peaceful, and a short drive to downtown Clayton. We would definitely stay here again.

Maria's house, the Ridgewood Estate is a beautiful 19th century historical home located in a picturesque area. The architecture and woodwork in this home is stunning! The large acreage is perfect for long walks and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. There is a gorgeous pool that unfortunately we were not able to use due to the off season/cold weather. Maria was a perfect host. She was super responsive, polite and very communicative, always getting back to us in a very timely manner. If you enjoy historical homes with great architecture that is surrounded in nature, we highly recommend staying at the Ridgewood Estate!

Our stay was delightful! The location was perfect, and the decor made it feel cozy while being away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond. The wifi was spotty, but they were also very accommodating with our holiday stay.

Stayed for two nights for my daughter’s auditions at SUNY Potsdam Crane School of music. It worked out for us perfectly, place was warm and cozy despite the -2 temp at night. Plenty of and the place was very clean. Stephanie is a great responsive host.

Liz’s place was absolutely beautiful, its likes a nice country get away and i loved it! the place itself is so amazing and the surrounding property is so gorgeous. Liz was very helpful giving local recommendations of things to do in the area. Overall it was an amazing stay!

This is our second time at this Airbnb. It’s in a wonderful location, so close to downtown. The house is clean and spacious, and you can’t beat having 2.5 bathrooms.

I've stayed here a few times when in Watertown for work, once for a few months stay. It is my top choice over 2 other AirBnBs I have rented in the area. It is a great size for 1-2 people, dog friendly, quiet and peaceful. It is very close to Thompson Park, which is enjoyable to visit year round.

Was a very comfortable place to stay. Felt like we were right at home. Was very clean and safe area. Kid friendly. The BnB had items for us to use if we forgot anything at home, like toothbrushes, deodorant and among other various items. Nice Tim Hortons coffee. Vincent was very nice and accommodating. Will be staying again soon since my family is from Canada and I’m from Long Island.

Kevin's home had everything we needed. Kevin was always responsive and friendly in his communications. This booking went smoothly.

Mark and June's place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. They were responsive when we needed them, but instructions were very clear so that was rarely! We'd stay here again.

This home reminded me of an Adirondack Great Camp. The house is decorated and designed with the appeal of nature, blending into its natural surroundings. If you want to be near sparkling lakes, and towering evergreens this is the house. We visited the Wild Center, went to The Bog for hiking and professional photographs, hiked Coney Mountain, paddled and swam to our heart's content. The pictures you see on the home listing are truly accurate. There is room to spread out if you need a quiet space. Everything is clean...and always works! The beds are comfy. This was my second trip here, as a friend of mine rented it in the fall a few years ago and I couldn't wait to come for the summer with my grandchildren.

Lauren was an absolute amazing host! Cannot say enough! The day of check-in was the day the remnants of a hurricane came through and there was flooding throughout the town. Lauren was right there to help guide us to the home. She called to make sure we were okay when the town put out a no travel order due to roads being flooded. She even walked through 3 feet of water to bring us food since our main road was flooded!! Honestly she went above and beyond as a host! Just shows she is a great human! Even with being stuck with the flooding we still had such a great time! Had to take it one day at a time. The home was absolutely amazing and just so peaceful and private. It’s absolutely beautiful where the home is. Definitely recommend! Thank you Lauren!

We made great memories at Esther's home. We had booked it to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday and an early Christmas meal and it was the perfect location for this. 1) the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, spices, pots & pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. and when we had any questions or couldn't find a particular supply, Esther was very responsive and took care of our needs. 2) the beds were fantastic! Not only the mattress but the quality of the comforters and linens made for a great sleep. 3) the home is beautiful in a contemporary design. 4) this may be very specific for us, but it was very convenient for my mother-in-law to enter the home - she has bad knees so it's difficult for her to do many stairs. The home has 2 steps to enter, living room, dining room, kitchen, and powder room are all on the main floor in an open concept (she didn't stay over and all the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor). I would love to stay at Esther's home again and would strongly recommend it. :)

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

This is a nice basic stay in a remote area without many lodging options. The house is nice, in a quiet location and was clearly recently updated. It was a little lean on amenities, plan on bringing shampoo, all cooking essentials, etc. and best to stop on the way in as the grocery is out of the way. We brought our dogs which was lovely, but not great walking for them in the area particularly with lots of snow pile up. Furniture was comfy and nice, but the beds are verrrrrry soft. There’s a few restaurants in the area, but otherwise quite remote. We would definitely stay again to see family in the area.
