This is a stunning property - well worth the price paid. The house was very well appointed and the all the furnishings made it feel like home. The location of the property is also great. We enjoyed doing the coast walk which was in close proximity. The house is close enough to the central areas, whilst also being situated in a very private neighbourhood. All in all a great experience

Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—spacious, clean, and instantly felt like home. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the water with a perfect jetty. We rented a boat and had so much fun exploring the area. Communication with Madi was excellent—she was super helpful and even arranged for wood to be delivered for us. The neighbours were lovely too, which just added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay in the Blouhuis was super nice and we had a great time. Heleen is super friendly and proactive, you’ll find everything you need in the kitchen to make yourself feel at home. The location is super nice and we had the best sunrises, sunsets and night skies to watch 🥹 not having proper electricity was no issue at all since Heleen provided candles and other light sources. Thank you very much for having us!

We had such a great time at Ciska’s place!! She made a huge effort to make sure we had everything we needed for our family with 2 young kids. The house has such a relaxed vibe, is super comfortable and well equipped. Safe neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, fun beaches… best vacation ever!!

The stay at Zebra Views was magical. The natural beauty, amazing fauna and flora and breathtaking ocean views were to die for. Can highly recommend and will return!

Skyroo is a truly special and exceptionally beautiful place. The Gemsbok villa is amazing, you have absolutely everything you need and the hot tub is a great little something extra. The setting is spectacular and don't forget to look up on a clear night as the stars will take your breath away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Suzanne's place. We loved the garden and the pool (even though it was pretty cold) and loved that we could be outside so much because of the great veranda. We didn't think it was a problem at all that one of the sleeping rooms and one bathroom were only accessible via the veranda. We came with 3 little children and enjoyed the fact that they could play outside safely. A nice extra was that someone came to clean and make the beds every day. We didn't find the entrance right away (because google maps led us to the back of the house) but Suzanne answered my call right away and was always there when we had questions. The kitchen is very well equipped (no dishwasher!) and had everything we needed. There is also an inside dining room which I think wasn't in the pictures. Everything in Hermanus is walkable from the place even though it is located at the edge of town (with a big Spar right next door for grocery). The main road was kinda load, didn't bother us.

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

Beautiful home with all necessary appliances. Well appointed bedrooms. Great outdoor covered patio. Plenty of room for a family get together. Thoroughly enjoyed being there. McGregor winery and tasting was excellent and extremely affordable. Great for children as they have a tasting plate for them with ice cream, grape juice and colouring in pictures and pencils.

It's our third stay at this villa at Kennedys and it remains a spectacularly beautiful and different destination. The villa is eclectic with interesting furnishings reflecting the world travels of the owners. There are different place to site inside and outside and the location of the kolkol hot tub is truly spectacular with views across the lagoon and onto Onrus beach. The magical milkwood trees set the tone for a magical stay. The villa has all the amenities you could want, James the butler is always in attendance when you need him and the privacy is great. Its easy walking distance to Milk Restaurant and there are great coastal walks from the villa if you feel the need to leave your luxurious apartment. The fact that we have been there three times already speaks volumes about just how much we like it there and we will be back for a fourth time.

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

We have booked Bruce's wonderful Whale Huys for our extended family holidays... we were a small group of nine people. I used to live in Gansbaai and De Kelders for a decade in 20 years ago, and my parents and my brother's family had already visited the region also. What a pleasure to discover Bruce's amazing house and to be able to enjoy Walker Bay and the coastline of De Kelders from this house. René, the property manager, welcomed us to the house and showed us the facilities. The house was absolutely perfect for our family and our stay... we just wish we had more time. The house is stunning and offers incredible views over the Ocean and Walker Bay... looking westward, the sunsets are just stunning. The house had every amenity one could need or dream of. The rooms and spaces were spacious, comfortable and perfect, the terraces were amazing, the bar room overlooking the pool was ideal, etc. Just the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this house when visiting the region!

Such an amazing home, it honestly just a little private oasis. Highly recommended for a few days, not much to do in the close proximity but a great place to relax with friends and family.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

We had the most wonderful, peaceful, serene stay at Baboon's View Cabin. We are so grateful, and we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay in Christi’s mountain retreat. The decor was lovely, the view incredible with not one building or human in sight. Pure bliss and hope we can return again.

Wow!!! What a gem of a place!! Unbelievable location and surroundings. This is definitely the place to go to when you want to get out of the city. The owners are just as nice as this place is beautiful. We will definitely be back. I also hope you get to meet Japie - kind soul who loves lamp tjops :) And go find the waterfall!!!!

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

What a lovely stay at Thuula Havens. I’ve been eyeing it for a while, so happy I finally went. It was everything I needed. The communication was clear and so were the check in instructions which we appreciated. As you walk in, the decor makes you at peace, the location is secluded and perfect if you’re looking to switch off from the buzzing of the city. The hot bath was easy to use. The bathrooms are immaculate. I love the 2 shower heads. It’s close to the Hemel en Aarde wine farms which are lovely. I’d recommend anyone to experience Thuula Havens. Ps. It is in nature and there’s a beehive and you get occasional visits from the bees (which we welcomed).

One of the most amazing places. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough! The home itself was very substantial and had everything needed. It was situated in one of the most beautiful places with a dam and lovely wildlife. A lovely place for a break away. Would definitely go back again!
