Jamaka was a great place to rest and feel the peace. We had an easy access to hikes starting in Algeria. For more hikes we gad to drive a bit (around 20 km to Dwarsriver) but this was ok. Delicious organic mangos straight from the farm paid back :) We like the house. Was speaceful and well equipped. Comfy bed, very good working wifi, could not feel any loadshedding ;) The place is much better than it look on the pictures and the are is simply beautiful! We would love to come back one day :)

We had a great 4 day stay, the house is spacious and set in lovely grounds. The property had aircon units and has a full generator for Loadshedding, which was an unexpected bonus. We would recommend it to others.

It was a great - outstanding - amazing stay. We loved it and had tears in our eyes when we left... so thankful for getting to know this piece of paradise!

We had the best stay! Michael was super friendly and helpful! We loved the location, close enough to town but far enough to feel like a getaway. Best place for a family getaway on a summers day and fun things in the evening such as braaing and games room which is decked out! Definitely going back

We had a fantastic stay in Cottage 5 in mid-June, it was lovely and cosy for family of 3. The fire place kept us warm and there was so much to do on the farm to keep a little one busy, short hikes, jungle gym, safe place to ride up and down on a bicycle. We had a lovely game trip around the farm by Michael, the farm manager. Great friendly host by Michael, always keen to chat and share story's about the farm animals. We did a short trip into Swellendam dam, which was very memorable as well. We will definitely be back with more friends and family.

Carin was so helpful and welcoming, the cottage we stayed in was comfortable and we really loved the gardens, the pool and our kids loved playing with the dogs! So homely and lovely!

Beautiful location and great hospitality. This place comes as advertised if you are looking for a relaxing stay in an area where there is plenty to do. While we didn't need much during our stay, Carin was available to help with anything needed and her place is gorgeous! Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place just outside Franschoek!

Amazing location with a cottage providing rustic charm. Several hikes to beautiful vistas and a lovely outdoor setting to enjoy the sunset. Nearest supermarket is 17km away, so be sure to bring everything with you. Lovely pond for zip line and canoe activities
