We loved our stay at Quints Airbnb! Very tranquil and picturesque area. The property of Quint and his wife is beautiful. Sth small, but for me, as a coffee drinker really important ;-): the Airbnb offers a French press and real coffee!

We loved the little space we had for ourselves Although it is busy with workers right behind our space which means no walking around naked 😅 but hot tub and grass patch was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway And it is still somewhat private and definitely feels peaceful Maybe an AC for hot summer days would be great We loved it and would recommend

Very peaceful and quiet spot yet easily walkable into Franschhoek centre with lots of lovely restaurants and shops and of course the wine tram! We loved the stunning view of the mountains and the outdoor area with hot tub as well as bath/shower was pretty cool! Nicola was a great host, very responsive and clear instructions - the cottage itself is comfy and very private and we loved the natural surroundings. Great for exploring the wonders of Franschhoek!

You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Stanford und seiner Familie. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Viertel und man ist in wenigen Autominuten im Stadtzentrum. Der Check-In verlief unkompliziert und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Beautiful, and unique We used all the amenities - the tickle tub nice and warm, a bubble bath in nature, the reading and napping net, and the teepee itself was great. Also a nice touch - getting to drive a Kawasaki Mule from the carpark to the tent! All wonderful It was a wonderful experience and would definitely come back

The stay was amazing, place was beautiful and private. Nice and quiet area, peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle. Easy access to a few shops and quite a few restaurants and activities to do in the area.

We weren't happy with our original room choice, and Aaron checked us into a bigger, much nicer place at no extra cost. Very friendly and helpful.

Our stay in the Werda Cabin was amazing. The surrounding is more than beautiful and Simoné was always available and helped us with tips and everything. It even starts before the trip when she sent us a PDF sheet with 'How to find the cabin', 'Whats important ' and everything else. The cabin is exactly how described. It just stands between two little dams, facing the surrounding mountains, nothing but birds and views & the nice braai area and the hot tub are such an amazing extra. We loved catching the starts at night while sipping on an ice cold Savanna. Also the hike next door is extremly beautiful! Thanks for opening up that beautiful place to people all around the world! We hope we can come back one day.

We (a family with 2 young kids) spend one night at the Almond Cottage III and we were so happy with our choice. It was kind of a stopover because the drive from Plettenberg to Cape Town was too long for the kids, that's why we made this stopover in Swellendam. It's a lovely town and the estate is situated about 10 minutes out of town. It's so quiet, calm and peaceful. There are 3 cottages, but each has its private space and even its own fire place. I loved the design of the interior with floor mats of a local artist. Really lovely and much attention to detail. We also ordered their grace boxes which were fantastic. The cheese platter was in the cottage in the evening when we arrived. The breakfast boxes were delivered at 8 am to the cottage. The food was amazing with lots of variety! I can only recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, lovely place.

Tasteful and comfortable suite, extremely clean with attention to detail. I can recommend Laura’s lovely house to anyone who needs a peaceful break-away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Wir hatten ein tolles entspanntes Wochenende, in der traumhaften Kulisse. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön. Marisha war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin und immer erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es auch ein paar tolle Cafés und Restaurants. Immer wieder gerne!

My boyfriend, our 3 dogs and I stayed for my birthday weekend. The cottages are perfect, the bed is super comfy, the day bed outside the kitchen is the perfect chill spot. The donkey shower is easy to get going and gives you an amazing hot shower. Loved the little details, body scrub in the shower, cute pot of honey in the kitchen. The view is gorgeous and we even got to see a lightning storm in the valley below the cottage. You could probably hike the whole farm over a week, so many great trails to walk and run. The dam was a bonus on a hot day after a hike. The host Hope was lovely and very responsive. Would also be an epic winter getaway spot, I would have loved to get the indoor fires going. Loads of wildlife on the farm, heard baboons in the distance on the mountain, saw various bokkies, zebra & horses. Perfect place for ours dogs to roam around, they're completely exhausted. I can't fault the place, it's wonderful and I would 10/10 stay again

Thanks for our beautiful stay. One advice for the future: you should maybe take better pictures of the view because it is even prettier in real life! We had a wonderful time with the hot tub and even made some barbecue on the terrace. Dora was amazing and always reachable via what’s app und Patrick was the nicest man to pick us up. My two buddies & I had forgotten to book a stay for a night. We quickly booked a roof-over-our-head on our route down to the coast…. And my, we were lucky!!! Yolanda’s place is just outside of swellendam, in the middle of what looks like southafrican ‚Heidi‘. ⛰️ You‘ll fall asleep in the attic - underneath a beautiful wooden ceiling- to the sound of the cows. And I accidentally spilled my coffee over the bed (sorry!!) and Yolanda immediately brought me a new blanket and sheet! Perfect communication & stay. THANKS! ✨

We had a lovely stay and the best part was the natural pool with a fantastic view!

We spent two fabulous days in Gite 3. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and the scenery surrounding the Gite is stunning. A beautiful location for our honeymoon. We only wish we would have been able to stay longer. Antoinette was so helpful, super easy to contact and gave us some brilliant recommendations. The location is super close to the centre of town. We will definitely be back to stay. Thank you so much for making our stay special!

Wow!!! What a gem of a place!! Unbelievable location and surroundings. This is definitely the place to go to when you want to get out of the city. The owners are just as nice as this place is beautiful. We will definitely be back. I also hope you get to meet Japie - kind soul who loves lamp tjops :) And go find the waterfall!!!!

What an awesome weekend at Balie's Gat! We initially booked in to the Klipbokkie cottage, which was very clean and quaint, and as described. However, on seeing the luxury tents, and learning that one of them was vacant for the weekend, we opted to move across to Oupa Tienie's tent for the 2nd & 3rd nights. A magical 2 days spent walking trails, sipping drinks in our own private rockpool in the river running past our site, and sitting around the fire watching the stars in the evenings. Furthermore, Yvonne made the transition from one dwelling to the next completely seemless, and was very quick and eager to accomodate our request to move. We will definitely be back, thanks Yvonne.
