This lovely house was a great getaway. Highly recommend!

We were a group of ten family/friends, not really interested in local happenings or activities because we were just there for the weekend to stay at the house and relax and unwind. The living room couches and dining table were great; we had plenty of room to hang out together, and the downstairs space living room wasn't even needed. The kitchen is very well appointed, but it's pretty small, so not really able to fit more than one or two people at a time. The beds were comfortable and with a variety of bed sizes, accommodated our group nicely. We appreciated the nice furniture and decor, I think it made everyone feel relaxed along with a fire in the wood stove. Had a fire down the hill by the lake, and unfortunately it was too windy to use the upper deck and outdoor furniture. Vincent quickly answered any questions we had. We didn't get to use any of the summer amenities but the lake looked like it'd be inviting in the summer.

My family had such a wonderful time staying here. The house was spacious yet cozy and we were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal with everything we needed at our fingertips. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings are right out of a Hallmark movie. We will definitely return!

Phyllis’s beautiful lake house is a wonderful place to get away and be in nature. Rooms and linens were in pristine condition. Easy to get down to the house and you’ll find everything you need and more (including a lovely art collection)! Phyllis is an excellent host, very communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a nice retreat.

We had a very nice winter getaway at Janet’s place. It was super clean and open. There is mindful decor throughout. It is a short ride into town with many funky shops, and about 20 mins to Woodstock which is also great. The hot tub was nice on a cold winter night, and the yard was great for our old dog who was very happy to get to go on vacation. That being said, if you don’t have dogs do NOT worry about any traces of a dog having been there. The place was immaculate.

My family and I had a wonderful time! Larry is very sweet, gave us a tour, offered to help with docking our boat and even offered my husband the tools to fix the bunk on our trailer. The house is big and beautiful!! Very clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need!! The hot tub is definitely a bonus as we used it everyday!! The dock was perfect, we had room for our pontoon boat and jet skis. All around the perfect place for some R&R!!! My family and I love Cossayuna Lake as we are semi local and it was our first experience with an Airbnb. Thank you Larry for sharing your home!! Highly recommend this for your next vacation!!

Brianna is a wonderful host, very friendly, always available and ready to help in anything we may need. The house is like a Dream House. Lovely living room with a fireplace, TV and a big and comfy sofa. Every room in the house was excellently decorated with a high test and good sense of space making you feel warm and welcome, like your own home. The surroundings are so beautiful that you even have a river running in the backyard. Like fairytale stories. The most amazing thing is the Kitchen fully equipped with seasonings, coffee, tea and beautiful crockery and pot sets. Everything you may need for a memorable vacation is here! We loved this place and definitely we're going to come back. Thank you very much Brianna, you're amazing!

it was such a wonderful memory for our family. the place was so quite and surrounded by nature. the view is amazing. i want to visit during summer time as well.

Jess and Marvin's cabin is truly a hidden gem - the cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city and our dog loved it too! They supplied everything you could need including firewood and fire starters available to make it the perfect experience all around -they even brought a dog bed for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfect for my family!! Waking up and having coffee looking out over the lake was wonderful. We cannot wait to come back in the summer time to enjoy kayaking and the outdoor amenities. The house was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and honestly felt like home. Thank you!!!

I can’t say enough positive things about Daniel’s place. The setting was beautiful and serene; It was so quiet and peaceful we almost felt like it was our own private lake! The house was lovely and so tastefully and uniquely decorated. All the windows gave a constant view of the lake. There are many quaint towns to explore within a 30 minute drive, but you may want to spend most of your time enjoying the lake and kayak. We hope to return in the summer.

Great location. Even with the other cottages there is enough privacy and a lot of space. We brought a few lawn games and had plenty of space to set them up. The small beach area is across the street but very accessible. The kids had fun playing in the water, sadly I forgot our sand toys but they enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. We mostly stayed close but did enjoy a kayaking trip to the lake. (I did not think about life jackets, we were fine without them but if you want them, you will need to bring them) We also enjoyed the hike up the mountain behind the hub which is walking distance from the cottage. Great hike, not too hard, but a good workout with a beautiful view of the lake.

An excellent stay with incredibly responsive hosts. Snowed while we were here and it was a winter wonderland. Kid friendly, quiet; a great place to reset.

Simply spectacular. This cabin and the property is beautiful. We had an amazing weekend stay and enjoyed every moment. The fall foliage was breathtaking and kayaking on Lake Pleasant was so fun. The cabin has everything you need for a well equipped and cozy stay. Lots of games and what a nice treat to have the s’mores and starter basket of coffee, tea, & hot cocoa. We can’t wait to come back and spend more time at this slice of paradise.

This was our second time staying at Ania and Stan’s beautiful cabin and just as we anticipated, it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a getaway that feels as cozy as bringing your home to stunning Lake George, this is the place for you! Ania has truly thought of everything! The location really can’t be beat! You have a stunning view of Lake George mixed with the peaceful quiet of the woods surrounding you. If you’re a fan of the night sky, bring your camera because its absolutely breathtaking being able to see so many stars shining right above you. The cabin is so close to town which makes it so easy to get out and really enjoy all that Lake George has to offer. The beds, sofas and linens are all so comfy and cozy. Ania even gave us the heads up that the weather was going to drop quite a bit during our stay and had space heaters already set up to get the cabin nice and comfy for us upon arrival. I cant express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, we cannot wait to get back! 🤍

We came to Mark & Patti’s cabin for a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. It was nothing short of amazing! It was accessible in the winter (plowed roads/driveway), had everything we needed for a comfortable winter stay. We couldn’t use the porch due to snow/ice, but that’s completely understandable in the wintertime conditions in the ADK. Access to internet/TV, and games made it fun. We wanted to be close to the ADK park and wild areas to explore, and this location provided the perfect locale to access trails and recreation. Also, the towns of Speculator and Wells have plenty of local shops and places to go in town. We visited Wilcox Lake Wild Forest to go snowshoeing, and there’s plenty more locations to visit to fish or hike. Mark & Patti made sure we couldn’t want for anything during our stay, were responsive and helpful, and were truly wonderful hosts. We hope to visit again in the future so we can kayak and enjoy the Floe during warmer months. :)

This house was beyond our expectations. The home was immaculate and so beautifully designed and equipped with anything one could need. We had the best time and can’t wait to return!

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

It’s a wonderful cabin by the lake. The place is very warm in the winter and is spacious for a family. The location is quite close to Windham mountain ski resort and only a short drive. I could see the surrounding will be beautiful in the spring or summer. Very private. The host is very responsive and kind.
