This was such a a lovely place and community, my family loved the space and felt extremely comfortable. We were able to get farm fresh eggs down the road and Christy was amazing to communicate with. We would stay again in a heart beat.

We had a lovely stay at Billie’s Airbnb. The cottage was cute and well set up. Quiet and peace at night - the only sound was an owl hooting in the woods. We also appreciated that Billie welcomed our 160lb Irish wolfhound! We would definitely stay at Billie’s again.

magic lamp cabin at St Mary’s lake is the perfect place to go for self-restoration in a peaceful & serene environment. the beauty of the lake, the trees and nature hug the cozy cabin. the cabin is self-contained for making it the perfect holiday place & space away from home. thank you Tania & Jose for sharing your peaceful lakeside cabin. we will miss the chirping birds that dance around the garden all day long.

We enjoyed a quite few days on the point. The property is beautiful with lots of options for accessing the water. We enjoyed staring at the strait from the hottub and looking for otters as well as plenty of other sea life post hiking nearby. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The loft is cozy and well equipped. We will come back!

A perfect getaway - we felt right at home from the moment we entered this cozy and comfortable cabin. Best thing about the cabin were the big windows and abundant natural light throughout the day. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, and the nature/greenery was soothing. Not having Wifi or TV really helped us to "switch off" and, dare I say, was "therapeutic" in these crazy times. Having just the right selection of books in the library (bet it wasn't just a coincidence) and the board games/cards kept us entertained indoors while it rained outside. The cabin was stocked with necessary amenities. We stayed 4 nights, so we had brought basic supplies with us. Besides, the nearest grocery store is ~20mins stroll away, and we enjoyed the walk. Thanks to Jaime for everything... and patiently teaching us get the fireplace going. We would love to visit Pender island in summer/fall and will hopefully be able to stay here again.

Place was awesome. Clean. Comfy. All the niceties like bedding, towels, fridge stuff. Coffee. Etc. Sarah was great- would def recommend. Thanks for having me.

We loved this Airbnb. It was a great place for a vacation whose goal was relaxation. Peaceful, beautiful inside and out, homey. Nice garden, good hot tub, kitchen, bed, bathroom, etc. Jo-Ann was very relaxed, accommodating and friendly , she totally gave us our space, but was easy to get ahold of. Lots of hummingbirds. Close to downtown Victoria but also feels rural. It’s kind of we’ll-positioned between Victoria and the Butchart gardens and the ferries to Tsawwassen.

Our stay was so wonderful. The suite was so cute and clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. There were tons of hummingbirds which was on the balcony which was amazing for me as I had never seen them up close. The property is rustic and beautiful and the suite is on the side and was nice and private. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

The best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making cooking a breeze. The bathroom was spacious, with an amazing shower, and having laundry machines available was such a great convenience. Everything was spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped. We truly felt at home and would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

Good and cozy place!

This is a beautiful suite with a location that can't be beat -- you're literally steps from the beach. The view of the ocean and hearing the gentle sounds of the waves make it a very special place. It's very spacious (felt even bigger than the photos!), and outfitted with every amenity you might need during your stay. All the furnishings felt very high-end. Daniel and his co-hosts were always helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended!!

We had an amazing stay here! Fantastic suite with everything we needed, everything was so well thought out. The sauna was especially great and we had awesome access to everything we wanted to do during our stay. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and super helpful. Will definitely be back!

The kids loved it, especially the lego and the hide and seek spaces! I loved the basics provided in the kitchen, the coffee tea and milk kindly left for us, but also amazingly enough pasta and tuna to have made a meal if we’d arrived without! When we asked for a spare comforter (so I didn’t have to share a duvet with a child-eel) it was happily provided, and all the bedlinen was great. Only proviso/ advice? ? There is a steep set of steps down the garden to the space, and a few at the bottom have no hand rail so anyone having to carry a toddler or who is disabled will need to take care. Turn the air con / central heating off at night as it isn’t on a timer. The kids want to come back - for longer next time. Many thanks

I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this charming little nook in the woods! From the moment I arrived, it felt like stepping into my grandmother’s house—warm, inviting, and filled with the kind of comfort that instantly makes you feel at home. The space was beautifully decorated, incredibly cozy, and had everything I needed to unwind and relax. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was Sarah and Lance. They are the most wonderful and thoughtful hosts, and they came through when it mattered most! When an unexpected snowstorm hit, leaving everyone stuck inside and the roads completely impassable, they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, warm, and well taken care of. Their kindness and hospitality made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into an adventure filled with great conversation, good food, and an even deeper appreciation for this hidden gem. If you're looking for a peaceful escape—this is it!

Great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet place in a nice neighborhood!

Vi kom fra Norge for å besøke 17-åringen vår som er elev på en internasjonal skole i nærheten. Beliggenheten var derfor helt perfekt for oss. Det er lett å komme seg til Victoria også, vi dro dit flere dager, men man bør ha bil. Metchosin er et sjarmerende, lite sted med butikk, koselige restauranter og kafeer. Det ligger på landet, og det er mange parker og turmuligheter i nærheten. Hytta var veldig koselig, gullende ren og med alt man trenger. Vi lagde ikke mye mat der, men det var et godt utstyrt kjøkken, god seng, vaskemaskin osv. Selv om det ligger inntil veien, var det stille og rolig. John og Julie var oppmerksomme, vennlige og svarte raskt på meldinger. Vi ble et døgn forsinket pga fly-kansellering, og da tilbød de oss å forlenge oppholdet med et døgn siden det var ledig. Veldig generøst! Vi gleder oss allerede til neste besøk på Vancouver Island, og da vil vi gjerne bo her igjen. Takk for oss!

What a beautiful property! This place was perfect for our weekend away. The suite is cozy and clean. We loved how easy it was to walk down to the beach. It was a great, little space to come back to at the end of our days spent exploring. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and responsive.

We came to Victoria for Xmas and were lucky enough to get to stay at this Airbnb. Gorgeous neighbourhood and the Airbnb matched the vibe of that area. Very comfortable and perfect place for an extended stay. Highly recommend-5 stars

I had a wonderful stay at Luis’s place! The place was nice and spacious, offering a convenient location and plenty of privacy. It had everything I needed for a long stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were great and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with good friends. Lots of space for two couples AND two bathrooms. We enjoyed lovely walks and the hot tub. Beautiful area. The home was well appointed and we had everything we needed Excellent communication from our host. Recommend!!
