Charming spot. Nice decor. Spacious. Private. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good kitchen supplies. Responsive hosts. Quick drive to town and to the ferry. I’ll be keeping this one in mind next time I’m on Salt Spring.

Very clean, quiet and peaceful - felt like we were the only ones in the building! BEAUTIFUL view, and kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Was a short drive to Sidney (definitely check out “Sidney Scones)! Only recommendation would be black-out blinds in the master bedroom (if you like to sleep in) as it was very bright in the morning, but perfect if you’re a morning person :)

We really enjoyed our stay here! We did everything! We kayaked, we used the sauna and the hot tub (and we polar plunged off the dock at night)! We used the grill, we cooked inside and we ordered out. We saw eagles, played indoor games, we hiked the area and we explored the wineries nearby. The area is beautiful and quaint. The outside bathroom wasn’t terrible, except in the morning (cold) and when it was raining, but we didn’t mind. The bedrooms are on the small side and there are no closets so there wasn’t a ton of room to “spread out” but really that isn’t a complaint, it’s more of a heads up. Overall we loved it here and would absolutely come back and visit again.

Beautiful homey cottage with quiet forest setting. One other residence in view from bedroom but curtains available for privacy and neighbours were very quiet. Lovely living space area and fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Bathroom fan a little loud at the time but all in all the nicest Airbnb I stayed at on the island. Definitely recommend 😃💫

Our stay in Jordan River was absolutely wonderful! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the gear and condiments to make cooking and BBQing effortless. The private sauna was the highlight—such a perfect way to unwind. The location was fantastic, with trails leading to nearby beaches just a short walk away. We also loved the local coffee beans provided—a nice touch! Jordan, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly when we reached out. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had an excellent time staying in Susan’s cottage, the place was quiet and in pristine conditions. Susan was very responsive and a great host, highly recommended!

Shena's place was fabulous! So many little touches made it feel like a home away from home, from the extra throw blankets and essential oil diffuser to the cozy bedding and ample kitchen supplies. It was pristine and the walking trails behind the house were great for our dogs. There was no odor or negative issues whatsoever. Plenty of hot water in the shower, easy to find, and close to shops and restaurants. Yes you can hear footsteps on the floors above but it was quieter than hotels I've stayed in. Thank you Shena for a lovely stay and for the late check-out.

Truly a wonderful cabin. Our family of four spent two extremely comfortable, relaxing days in Jordan River. We did the sauna/creek cold plunge and it was a delight. Extremely comfortable beds and the whole place is just perfect. We walked to trailhead and did the first section of the Juan De Fuca trail without getting in our car!

we had a lovely stay at Aija’s place with young kids. the space is absolutely beautiful, even better than the pictures, and luxurious while being right in nature by the pond. very private but Aija was available and responsive if we had questions. we were able to make delicious meals in the well stocked outdoor kitchenette. the kids loved kayaking and swimming in the pond, there’s also badminton, bocce, and a slack line. outdoor shower with gloriously hot water stocked with fancy soap/shampoo and clean towels. the sleeping area was super cute, had a soft bed and decadent linens. the whole area is lit by magical feeling solar string lights at night, including path to the compost toilet which was easy to use and not smelly. we didn’t get a chance to use the wood fire sauna but would come back when the weather is cooler to enjoy it. finally the location is great, close to vesuvius and only a few minutes from ganges, although you could spend much of your time on the property. recommended!!
