Barbara’s place was very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped. With appliances, dishes etc. there was a very good array of dry good items for cooking, if you hadn’t made it to groceries yet, flour , sugar, oil, etc. Barbara was very responsive, and welcoming. We would stay at Barbara’s again.

Wonderful getaway in gorgeous surroundings! We loved our three nights in late fall. We had a great view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympics, access to inspiring beaches, and a lovely cozy warm private place to stay. We enjoyed cooking up a feast in the kitchen, watching football on the TV, reading by the gas fireplace, and sleeping like logs in the quiet and calming environment. Fresh eggs and a chorus of sea lions each morning, beautiful stars at night. All around wonderful.

A most memorable weekend away! Our host was friendly and helpful, The cottage was wonderful ,warm and welcoming. We opted to cook all our meals and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. We give this cottage a 5 star and 2 thumbs up!! Looking forward to coming back soon... Lovely hosts and a lovely place to stay! Trish and Nick introduced us to the property and their 4 legged friends (goats, sheep, and Bella the golden retriever) who we instantly connected with - they are an absolute delight! We had everything we needed for breakfast, including great coffee!, and felt at home right away. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Thank you, Trish and Nick, for a wonderful weekend!

A perfect getaway - we felt right at home from the moment we entered this cozy and comfortable cabin. Best thing about the cabin were the big windows and abundant natural light throughout the day. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, and the nature/greenery was soothing. Not having Wifi or TV really helped us to "switch off" and, dare I say, was "therapeutic" in these crazy times. Having just the right selection of books in the library (bet it wasn't just a coincidence) and the board games/cards kept us entertained indoors while it rained outside. The cabin was stocked with necessary amenities. We stayed 4 nights, so we had brought basic supplies with us. Besides, the nearest grocery store is ~20mins stroll away, and we enjoyed the walk. Thanks to Jaime for everything... and patiently teaching us get the fireplace going. We would love to visit Pender island in summer/fall and will hopefully be able to stay here again.

Wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and cozy and just as described. Anne was super helpful with recommendations for arriving by bike (the hills!!) and checking in. A quiet, out-of-the-way, beautiful spot in the forest. Although close by, it felt very private from the main home. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful hideaway in suburbia and walkable to a lovely hike up Christmas Hill (great views). Very accessible to downtown Victoria, UVIC and the ferries. The suite has great light coming in from the skylights and back garden. The living space is very usable and the kids enjoyed the loft.

We (2 adults and 1 medium sized dog) really enjoyed our stay at Jody’s tiny house. Descriptions were accurate and we were pleasantly surprised with how extensively outfitted a smaller space could be. Every nook was filled with some useful surprise and the design of the space was modern yet homey. The little electric fireplace added a nice touch when lounging in the ‘living room’ on a rainy night. We like to cook so worth noting kitchen facilities were adequately stocked with plenty of room to work. Bathroom space did not feel like the space was small. The entire unit felt new and was very clean. The setting is very private on the host’s property. Plenty of activities in the area and in Victoria. We’d highly recommend Into the Woods and would gladly stay there again.

Great stay, beautiful area in the woods and super peaceful with easy instructions how to get there. Had all the cooking utensils we needed and even had a speaker and a flashlight for us to use when we walked to the beach. Everything was communicated clearly and the check in and check out were smooth. If we’re ever back in the area we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Spent 5 days here to be on my own and have some good ol R&R. This was the perfect space to do so! It was super cozy, extremely clean, and was all in all the perfect space for me to unwind. If I didn't have to get back to the real world, I would have loved to stay even longer. Thank you for such a lovely stay, it was just what I needed❤️

A lovely, unique place to stay! We loved this beautiful mini-Renaissance museum, equipped with a comfy loft bed and cozy cubby space. Our hosts were welcoming, flexible, and responsive. We had a great time!

We absolutely loved our time in Shawnigan Lake! our little private oasis was so cozy, comfortable and quiet. We loved the outside bathtub so much. We are excited to come back to the Victoria area again in the near future. Thank you, Kristina!

This outdoor space is beautiful and the indoor space is cozy and comfortable. The comforts brought by the pellet stove, hot tub and black stone cook space really make this space feel luxurious.

We had an incredible time at The Salty Cabin! The place was exactly like the pictures – beautiful, cozy, and well-maintained. Jessica thought of everything, even providing a little book of local recommendations, which was super helpful during our stay. The cabin is also conveniently located near some stunning trails, including Ruckle Provincial Park, making it the perfect spot for nature lovers. We truly enjoyed our time here and couldn't recommend it more!

Like living in the forest. Very quiet and private both of which are very important to me. Will definitely be at the top of my list for a place to stay in Victoria. Highly recommended.

10 out of 10. A perfect home on Salt Spring Island. The hosts are very friendly people. The room feels better than the picture. We arrived at chilling night. When we got in the lights and heats were on — such a feeling of getting home! I love the home-made jam btw! Love the stay!

Perfect little getaway not too far off the beaten track. It’s absolutely beautiful and cozy with everything you can think of. It feels private despite being close to the hosts primary residence. The highlight was the full size kitchen. Great option for a couple that wants to unwind for a weekend, cook nice meals, hot tub, and enjoy each other’s company. Would definitely come back here again. Diane and Jim's place is such a lovely, clean, homey cabin in the woods with cozy decor and everything you could need! We cooked all of our meals in the airbnb and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The bed is really comfortable and so are the couches, which are perfect for curling up and reading. We loved the big window by the breakfast table which makes you feel like you're directly in nature. The place is easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Ruckle park, which has a ton of great hiking trails and beaches to explore! Diane and Jim are really lovely and attentive hosts who helped us figure out logistics over the phone when we had trouble with the ferry over. This is a great place to stay :))

Alex’s place is very clean and cozy! It is a tiny home but doesn’t feel like at all! We had everything we need there.

I would certainly recommend staying at Christine’s place. Not only is she very accommodating but the place is well equipped with everything you need. The house is very unique which makes it very exciting to stay, as well very clean and very well maintained between guests. Christine was also very responsive if we had questions and provided great recommendations to local restaurants and cafes. The area is beautiful and very close to everything you’re looking for. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful home base to explore the Sooke to Port Renfrew area, very quiet and peaceful with great amenities. Natalya was very communicative, and timely and we hope to be back!
