Being pet friendly meant we could bring our beloved pooch along. Denise greeted us on arrival to the Island and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for making our holiday hassle free. We loved everything about our stay. We felt right at home in the property & enjoyed being able to walk into town via the beach, it was so convenient. The views from the property are incredible & we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time staying here. We loved exploring the local attractions and the weather was perfect too! Sallie’s place is fantastic and exactly what I always look for when travelling. Super close to a dog beach, welcoming and friendly to me and my two medium sized dogs, big and bright and spacious, comfortable beds, all the amenities you need in the kitchen and bathroom, big pool, eco-friendly and sustainable, beautiful gardens…ticking all the boxes! I’ll definitely be back :)

This little cottage is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The beautiful pool to the rumpus room at the back with the pool table made our stay very enjoyable. Would recommend this little place to stay at.

We had just driven nearly 700klm and we were totally exhausted. We wanted a one night accomodation to recover ready for the return journey. John place gave us the perfect spot to unwind- beautiful walk along the beach, a lovely deck to sit out on with a wine and cheese an enjoy the view and a comfortable bed to have an excellent sleep - refreshed the following morning for our return trip. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time staying in April and John’s holiday home. The home is spacious and luxurious and had fantastic attention to detail. As a family with a young child we often find accommodation lacking in utensils and kitchen items such as child friendly plates but April has thought of everything and it was the perfect self contained holiday stay. The bedrooms are huge and the bathroom and laundry were fantastic along with the kitchen. We loved the 2 verandas and enjoyed the amazing view and sea breeze. We had a great time using the pool and we loved walking across the road to the beach. This is the best holiday home we have stayed in and would highly recommend April’s home. You won’t regret it! Thank you for making our mini holiday so great, we have come away feeling refreshed and relaxed.

What a lovely place to stay! Had to ring them on the way when we realised we booked the wrong date! No dramas; Manager was so understanding and told us to 'just come, it's fine!' Reception staffs so friendly and helpful. Place so clean and there's a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster provided. There's also a common kitchen if you wish to do more cooking. We loved having breakfast at the little verandah overlooking the pool and garden. Ideal location- walk to beach and town, restaurant is just accross the road. We stayed twice - 1-night each time as we were just passing by to rest after a long drive. We surely would stay here again when we come back to do more exploring. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our little getaway at Cooee Bay. Absolutely loved that the beach was just across the road - as well as a park and a coffee shop. The tastefully updated unit was very comfortable and clean - had the best nights sleep! The only downfall was the cleanliness of the pool at the unit - was not really up to standard.

Lovely 1 night stay in Jeremy & Louise’s boutique motel. Very clean, modern & quiet rooms. Great laundry room & BBQ area. Louise was very friendly & helpful pointing us in the direction of shops in Emu Park. Would highly recommended a stay here.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean & tidy. Has everything you need. Quiet location. Easy short walk to the beach and short drive into Yeppoon & the marina is close too. Coffee van stops at the beach car park each morning. Perfect location for a coffee & toastie after a beach walk. We will be back!!

Amazing place to stay, open plan, beautiful view and a very responsive host. The kitchen had everything you could ever need too! Will hopefully be able to do it again! It was perfect for us 😊

Super Preis-Leistung :) Küche ist riesig und mit Geschirrspüler, Pool jederzeit nutzbar. Genügend Parkplätze und man ist sehr schnell am Strand.

Amanda and Michael’s house is a great place to stay and enjoy Emu Park. New house with beautiful sea views. Nice clean rooms. Great kitchen with well stocked pantry. Kids were happy with the fast WiFi. Amanda was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the place😊 Perfect location for a family with young kids. Beautiful sea breeze and quiet neighbourhood. Grandpa, dad and kids enjoyed playing the pool game.

Beautiful house with plenty of rooms, lots of space and complete amenities. Would definitely book again the next time we go back to Yeppoon.

We had a great stay the house was perfect and welcoming. Great walks on the beach and up the hill. Quiet road for kids to ride bikes or cross to the beach. The sunset views from the deck are amazing.
