This is such a gorgeous house! We loved the view of the trees, ocean, and mountains in the distance. Squirrel monkeys swung by while we relaxed in the jacuzzi and infinity pool. Everything was comfortable and beautiful. The concierge service was fantastic and helped us book a private chef dinner as well as a surfing lesson. The location was easily accessible with a car/van (not really walking distance), and the excursions were able to pick us up from the house. There was even a cleaning service. I highly recommend this house!!

John’s place Was more than expected !! It exceeded all of my expectations.!! The pictures does the property zero justice it’s too much beauty to capture !! A little far from activity’s but other than that 10 out of 10 !! John was great with communication and whatever my party needed !! I love John’s property and can’t wait to come back !!!!!!!

Jorge is incredible, our flight from Panama to Costa Rica had mechanical difficulties so we didn't get to Costa Rico until 10:30 p.m. After picking up a rental (which I highly recommend if you are staying here) it was after midnight. We had some difficulty finding the house Jorge came out to meet us rather than just do directions. The house was very comfortable and the bathroom including the amenities were fabulous!

Wir hatten unsere letzte Nacht vor dem Rückflug. Es war ein sehr schöner Ausklang mit dem abendlichen Blick über San José. Kim hat uns sehr unterstützt in allen Fragen. Sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Danke, Kim.

The house and property were as described and expected and we were extremely happy with our stay! We were specifically looking for something outside of the typical tourist spots and Gary’s place did not disappoint. Gary specifically stated that the mosquito population at his house was low and he was absolutely right! Just a few tips and recommendations for other potential visitors. - The kayaks must be taken down the hill to the beach for each use for security reasons. We hesitated to use them until our last day for this reason but we wish we hadn’t. Gary made it very easy and he took them down on his car. It’s an easy paddle to some snorkeling and nice beach areas. You can avoid paying for parking and hauling gear. - there is a public road between the pool area and beach where locals like to park and hang out. Shrubbery gives visual privacy but you may hear music. This did not detract from our stay. Overall we absolutely recommend this house to others.

El lugar es increíble, es aun más lindo que en las fotos. Está muy bien equipado y limpio. Todas las personas del grupo durmieron muy bien, inclusive el colchón inflable es bastante grande y cómodo. En nuestra estadía por el tamaño del grupo nos dieron acceso a dos villas así que todos los huéspedes tenían su propia cama y baño. La pasamos genial 🙏100% recomendado.

El lugar es hermoso! Fue fácil llegar, y con el clima de Atenas fue como estar en una casa de playa en medio del bosque. La decoración de la casa es muy bonita, está muy bien equipada. Y la naturaleza alrededor es preciosa. La iluminación está muy bien pensada, en especial el camino hacia la piscina con sensores, muy buen detalle. El área de piscina muy completa, con flotadores, sillas, un baño y hamacas. Sí es importante recalcar que el área de pisicina no es accesible; para nosotros no fue un problema subir, pero puede que para otros sí. Y la refri no enfriaba mucho. Pero por lo demás, un lugar increíble. Lo visitaríamos otra vez!

One of the best overall values for the money i spent. This complex has almost everything you would ever need. Grocery store is about a 7 min walk 3 blocks away. It was great to relax by the pool and being able to do my laundry meant i could pack lighter. Hosts were very responsive and kind!

Ruben was an amazing host! Place was super cozy and he was SUPER NICE! We couldnt feel more at home than what we did! This was the consensus of myself, wife and kids! Will look for this place when going to Costa Rica!!

A lovely rustic property surrounded by nature and sweet farm animals made this accommodation perfect for our family to stay for a night. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming to us.

Está cabañita es super hermosa! Pasé un fin de semana con mis amigas y la pasamos increíble en el lugar, hay muchas zonas verdes y la cabaña tiene todo lo que necesitábamos, el lugar es simplemente precioso.

I ran into some issues as I was looking for a quiet and there was some construction being done on the property. Sehidy was more than accommodating and understanding. She helped with a price reduction and allowed me to stay an extra day no charge. She is the kind of host that I would recommend.l and seems to care about making the experience as best she can for her guests.

The steep driveway worried us, but we made it just fine. The view was stupendous, and everything was in perfect working order. We would gladly book this stay again. We were so glad we came through San Gabriel to see less touristy places in Costa Rica.
