Carbon Cliff : locations de vacances

We stayed here for a trip to play TPC Deere Run. Very convenient to the course. Tap 22 is a 3 minute drive away which made for a convenient dinner the night of our arrival. The house was easy to get into, and had plenty of parking. Would recommend and stay here again.

We had unexpected travel arrangements that we needed to make for a funeral the week of Thanksgiving for our large family. Jeanne was so helpful with our last minute stay accommodations. She knew we were traveling with a toddler and had multiple pack and plays for her one in basement and one upstairs because I had mentioned I didn’t know which space she would sleep in. She had toys available for her to play with and a high chair setup in the kitchen. Left breakfast for our large crew and even a bottle of wine. She thought of everything. The house was equipped with everything you could need in the gourmet kitchen including sippy cups, toddler plates and silverware. She ensured we had more than enough towels and left a stocked closet filled with toiletries. 2 coffee bars stocked with everything we could need including teas and hot chocolate. Since we were arriving late she had the porch light on for us. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Jeanne for everything!!!

Our family loved the peaceful, relaxing setting of Miguel's house. The river views are beautiful to wake up to and the house is very well stocked with anything you could need--especially the kitchen. Also, Miguel made certain there was plenty of dry firewood for us to enjoy the fireplace. We will love to book again and return next winter.

We had a very relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. The weather was warm enough so we could enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The cabin is so comfortable and private, we felt like we had our own oasis for the weekend. We took a long walk at the wildlife preserve and saw pelicans, eagles, sand hill cranes, ducks and geese. Deer were also frequent visitors just on the other side of the railroad tracks, along with several varieties of birds and an occasional racoon. If you like trains, this is the place to experience them! We hope to visit again.

100% will be saying again!! We had such a great time and even loved that we got to see cattle on the property! The jam left was AMAZING and even got a little hand written note. It’s in a local area that’s easy to get to places as well. If I could rate this a 10 star, I would! Thank you so much for sharing your home for our girls trip! We will definitely be back!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay! If you are looking for a phenomenal experience this is the place with breathtaking views of the Mississippi. The master bedroom is everything and more! This is a great place to host a large family gathering. We felt like we were on a retreat, Tracy was an exceptional host and thought of everything! A second stay is definitely in my future.

The house felt like home. She added extra touches, like proving soap, toothbrush and toothpaste in case you forgot them. Home was cutely decorated. It was within walking distance to all the shops. Kristina was very responsive. I would definitely stay there again.
