We enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as described and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was also very clean, from the bedrooms and living room to the kitchen, which had all of the utensils, pot and pans you'd need for cooking. We also unexpectedly needed to stay an extra night and Lori quickly responded and made it happen seamlessly for us.

The host is very responsive. The home was lovely and spotless. I love the location—away from the hustle and bustle but close to the town. Also, it is a beautiful location to watch a sunrise.

Great amenities and very clean. My husband enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. It was really wonderful to wake up every morning and have coffee on the second story deck among the tree tops. We just wished that the beautiful, wooded property directly around the house was accessible to guests. However, it was fairly easy to drive to a lot of really cool places to hike.

The Owls Nest was a perfect place to stay with our family and our 2 dogs. The fenced in back yard had plenty of room, a fire pit and nice sized deck. The bedrooms were all cozy and had comfortable beds. The living room has plenty of room to play games or watch a movie and the kitchen has everything you need . We love to hike and Mt Bike and this location was close to many hiking trails and about a 5 min drive to Touch of Nature trails for riding. We would definitely book another stay at the Owls Nest!

We loved the little cabin and every place around that we tried was phenomenal! The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and private makes you feel right at home even if all you’d like to do is stay in and watch a movie.Marilynn is super helpful and super sweet we loved meeting her at the fish house! If you have a chance, definitely give crazy Joe’s fish house a try everything we got was delicious. We also loved how close it was to Ava and to the national forest, gave us so much to do and explore without driving hours to get there. This really was the perfect get away and we hope to stay again when we have time to go again!

The place is better than the pictures, they don't do it justice. Richard is very responsive and attentive, literally a perfect stay with no issues. newer home, amazing spot, make sure you stock up on food before coming though! closest food spot is 20 minutes away unless you like wendys. place was amazing, thanks again richard!

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!
