Absolutely loved our stay! We’ll definitely be booking again soon. The farm was beautiful, the animals were clearly well cared for, and the surrounding area was stunning. We had a lovely stay at the Heron lodge, I felt like Pocahontas! So much wildlife, had a resident Pheasant I named Hew, a mink, bats, frogs, fish so many different birds. It was beautiful. The hot tub was fantastic, the cabin was compact but didn’t feel small. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom was a decent size. There was an onsite shop, the coffee machine was out of order however, one of the lovely staff made me a nice coffee for the drive home. Late check in was very easy and Owen was really responsive to messages regarding late arrival. All in all, 10/10 for a peaceful relaxing stay! Will recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had fantastic stay at the lodge, which is very much on the lake! We enjoyed amazing views both during the day, and at night watching the stars. We had a lovely day out at Cefn Mably farm, very short walk from the lodge. A great Birthday weekend!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, the place was spotless and well equipped. Beautiful views and lovely locals walks. Cosy local pub just a short walk away. Would 100% recommend for a quiet getaway! Thanks again Owen.

Absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the Cefn Mably Lakes cabins! The location is gorgeous, and the cabin is super cute, with everything you need. The wildlife is stunning, we saw so many frogs, fish, birds and even an Otter we named Oscar! The hot tub was perfect too, lovely to go in day or night. Owen’s really helpful, and replied almost instantly. We can’t thank you enough, would definitely recommend!

Wow wow wow! We had such a wonderful time at The Roost, and we can’t wait to visit again! Kath has done an amazing job making her place warm (even in FREEZING weather), cosy, and welcoming, there were so many thoughtful little touches that surprised us that it will be difficult to mention them all! We stayed at The Roost for a short Valentine’s break, and I wanted something different to surprise my boyfriend with. Everything was of exceptional quality, including super warm and cosy bedding, sparkling clean shower rooms, a very cool kitchen area with board games provided, environmentally friendly toilet roll and cleaning products, and also a great set-up for bikes, with bike racks inside the cabins and a bike wash area. A personal highlight was the mouthwatering homemade Welsh cakes left for us in our cabin, these were delicious and I could definitely have over-indulged! Kath was incredibly accommodating to us when the weather forecast had predicted a very bad storm, reaching out to check if we needed to postpone our trip, and then allowing us to do this at no extra cost. All in all, we had a superb time and can’t wait to visit again (hopefully when the weather is warmer!)

Very nice lodge located in a peaceful field. Well located for hikes nearby and good access to local amenities. Also a great host who was super helpful.

Paul greeted us on arrival, super friendly and welcoming. The lodge was cosy, clean, comfortable and felt homely. Beds super comfy, lots of towels provided and some refreshments in the fridge. We thought the hosts really thought about the guest experience. There are 3 lodges in a field, it’s quiet, peaceful and at night we bbq and watched the sun go down, extremely relaxing. We walked to the Thatchers Cider Tour (10 mins) so the lodge was ideally located & I would recommend eating at The Railway Inn or just having drinks. Would definitely return when visiting Somerset.

The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

We had a lovely time staying in Clive and Debra's beautiful lodge. It was so peaceful and so relaxing. We was surrounded by the singing birds and nature. The views were spectacular and you really are on top of the mountains and it was amazing. Clive was very helpful and met us at the libary and guided us up to the lodge. The drive isn't for the faint hearted but Clive was very helpful with guiding us up the track to the lodge and I felt very comfortable with the driving. We were greeted by their lovely dog Maddie who was so happy to see us and wanted extra attention. Clive gave us very helpful information about the walks we can go on, the near by restaurants and pubs we can visit. We definitely would come and stay again it was lovely. We highly recommend. It was honestly in the most beautiful location clean, peaceful and private for a chilled weekend away. Claire was helpful and greeted us to see how we were getting on at the start also complimentary Prosecco added a lovely little touch. Would love to go back again everything you need for a relaxed weekend.

We loved our stay at Ty Cwtch, just what we needed a peaceful stay with our dogs after busy time at work. Hot tub, pizza oven, beautiful and secluded surroundings, just like advertised and we were blessed with beautiful ☀️ Was lovely to see horses and Alpacas. Craig and Vicky really helpful and friendly. We enjoyed local walks at Cefn Ila and Westwood Forest Trails and we enjoyed a 20 min walk to the local pub too.

Took my partner away for a few days for his birthday. This had a private hot tub area, where you look out onto the lake. The views from lying in bed were also insane as you could just watch the wildlife on the lake. The area was spacious for 3 days, however if it were any longer it may have become cramped. The lodge was always warm and comfy. The sofa turns into the bed which I didnt realise at first but this wasnt an issue. Having an oven in the kitchen was also benefit as meant we could cook a full meal! We went out into Cardiff on one of the nights and the reception were helpful with taxi services, it cost around £30-£35 depending on who you went with but this was reasonable. My partner thinks this is his favourite place we have stayed as it was so private, you were near to other lodges but they could not see into yours and i barely heard anything from any other lodge the whole time.

A truly beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place with exquisite views. Gorgeous, friendly rescue animals who were a pleasure to see from the kitchen window loving life and allowed you to pet them. Felicity was extremely helpful, friendly and informative. Make sure you book the hot tub well in advance. Although having the hot tub in the day is stunning to appreciate the views. Will definitely return! :)

Karen was very helpful throughout our short stay and very responsive to questions. The cabin is a very cute place to stay, but only for a short stay. We loved it for a long weekend, but don’t feel it would be suitable for a longer stay, due to lack of clothes hanging and cooking facilities. It is also very draughty (through the front door), so whilst sitting watching tv it was quite chilly, but with blankets on and the log burner on, we made it cosy, but not sure how we’d feel about staying there in the winter, but for a spring/summer break it is lovely. Views from the cabin are beautiful.
