Absolutely spot on from start to finish. The pod was immaculately clean, and it had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Beds comfortable and the wood fired hot tub was good fun. Alice even topped up our wood the second day which was great. It was my Wife's 40th birthday and Alice even took the effort to place cakes, biscuits, decorations and a bottle of Prosecco in the pod for us upon arrival, a lovely touch and made it that extra special for my Wife. Thank you for a great stay, we will certainly be back! Keep doing what you're doing Alice because you're absolutely smashing it!

A wonderful place to stay had everything we needed and more excellent peaceful location but with local amenities within a short drive just what we needed to shut off for a few days will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to return again ourselves

Our group had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful cabin nestled amongst the trees overlooking the river (which you can hear rushing by whilst lying in bed - bliss!) The cabin itself was well-equipped, with excellent cooking facilities, and a big TV for cozy evenings in front of the fire. We loved the selection of books left in each room and the the welcome pack full of treats! The bedding is also extremely comfy. The owner was incredibly friendly, stopping by with his dogs and making us feel very welcome. We visited in February and stayed toasty warm thanks to the log fire and the hot tub, and we’re already thinking of coming back in the summer to be able to enjoy the outdoor facilities too. Highly recommend this peaceful escape for anyone looking to reconnect with nature with a group of family/friends. Can't wait to return.

Gorgeous cabin in a lovely location. The view was exceptional. There was some work going on on neighbouring buildings that we were not warned about, but we did get a note apologising for any disturbance so thats not all bad. The welcome basket with some essentials and treats was a lovely touch. The hot tub is super cute and because its not got jacuzzi jets its actually really perfect for the setting. Sitting in such peace, under the stars like we were the only people in the world was priceless. Definitely recommend taking your own kindling, we were given logs but couldn't have started the fire for the hot tub without the kindling we took....though sure we could have bought some from the team, just easier to have your own. Overall the cabin was beautiful, everything we needed, and you can't find a more perfect setting than the glorious lake district can you?! Keswick is a 15 min drive away, Windermere about 45 mins. Would recommend.

We had a fabulous time, a gorgeous location, so peaceful with gorgeous views. The hot tub is lovely and very private, the location of the lodge is perfect with brilliant views of the lake and really private. Easy lake access and lots of walks, the children’s play area is also lovely. The lodge itself was very clean, very comfortable. Great beds and pillows. The addition of a bath is brilliant when you have kids. Lots to do in the area, we took a short drive to Whinlatter forest and Keswick.

Great place to stay. Stayed at Pod 3, amazing view of the river, arrived very late and Catherine had the hot tub and pod all warmed up for our late arrival. Although the pod doesn’t get hot as such, hot water bottles were provided and a big fire pit was readily available. Failing that, a hot shower or a dip in the hot tub . Fantastic two nights away, will definitely be coming back!

Really lovely location, not too far from some great walks! Nice pub for food around the corner. Overall a really enjoyable stay!

Kathleen and Peter were absolutely wonderful hosts! ❤️ I stayed at their place for my husband's 40th birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. They decorated the space with balloons and even birthday-themed bed sheets, which was such a thoughtful touch! 😊 The place itself was fantastic, and their hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Charlotte's places was nothing short of magical. This cosy shepherds hut was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend away. The hut itself was done to an incredibly high standard and left very homely. The surrounding areas were very peaceful and made for a fabulous sunset; waking up to the birds was definitely and highlight. My only regret was not staying longer! I look forward to booking another trip in the future. Thank you so much for hosting us both.

We cannot rate more than 5 stars else we would. Andrew was a fantastic hostel, really friendly and approachable. The cottage and it's surroundings are someone the most peaceful we have come across and we live Devon so this shouldn't be hard to find here. We will be using Andrews place as our local retreat once we relocate. I would give this place 10 stars! So many little thoughtful touches that just make this place 10 stars! We will definitely be staying again!

Me and my family had a lovely overnight stay in this beautiful setting which allowed us to quickly drive to the local fells and Keswick High Street

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

very beautiful place

We had a great stay here. This caravan has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything is great quality and the sofas are super comfortable + it’s only a 10 minute walk to Cockermouth which has loads of restaurants, shops and pubs to choose from. The caravan is cosy, perhaps best for a couple due to the size however we enjoyed our stay immensely!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The Bassenthwaite lake view from the property was stunning and really added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature! One unforgettable moment was spotting a low-flying fighter jet, which was an amazing and unique experience!

Carole and the team were just great - from start to finish they were friendly, welcoming and clearly worked as a big family! The park is beautiful, peaceful and ideal whether fishing for the weekend or getting away from noise and tech with the family or a loved one. Heather cleans the pods and vans immaculately and the recommendations for walks and places to go were helpful and made for a much needed relaxing weekend. Will definitely visit again. Would recommend staying here to everyone! The owners were amazing, in contact with us throughout our stay to see how we were doing and when we popped out they put more logs on the hot tub for us to keep it warm! Cabin had everything you needed and was very clean! Would 100% stay here again!

Scarness bay is a beautiful location and bracken rigg lodge is a perfect place to enjoy it

Excellent place to stay, within easy walking access of town centre and lake and central to many fells. Well equipped and spacious warm and cosy accommodation.

I had a very lovely experience. Host is very nice and her place is very clean and beautiful, i would say that it looks better on ground than picture...everybody there was very friendly. I was a bit scared because we are people of colour but I would say that I have never been happier

Just had a weekend break at Burns Farm and the place was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing stay! Everyone is super friendly and the best place by far I’ve stayed for a weekend away! Highly recommend.
