This place is a gem, for sure! What really stood out to us was that the house felt loved and cared for, in all the best ways. The garden was charming with its ponds and gazebo, and both house and yard made excellent use of space and felt much larger than the square footage would imply. Tabor Bread was an easy walk away and its pastries were delightful. There were many other restaurants in walking distance too. Dallas was an extremely responsive host and made us feel right at home. We would gladly stay here again!

For 8 years we have come to Portland to see our daughter and stayed in various bnbs in NE Portland. Chris's was the absolute best. From the easy street parking and entry to the house, comfy couch & TV, the kitchen sparkling and well stocked with all we needed. Wonderful beds with the softest blankets and a terrific huge shower with really hot water. Flowering dogwood tree in the frontyard and bluebells and tulips in the garden. Great neighborhood to walk in, park only a few blocks away and Portland foodie restaurants easily driveable. Definitely highly recommend.

great place to stay with toddlers and babies. beds were comfortable, everything no worked smoothly. lights being dimmable also helped with putting the kids/babies to sleep. never felt cramped. never had trouble finding parking, usually right up front, and walkable coffee shops were great. also the temperature was always perfect, which really makes a difference in airbnbs. never too hot or too cold.

Excellent property - we loved our stay! The house was so clean and comfortable and it was set up with everything that we could need. The hosts were super- responsive and kind…truly we have nothing but great things to say about our visit.

It’s not often that the photos of an Airbnb *don’t* do it justice—but Holly’s place was even more beautiful and inviting in person. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The space was sparkling clean, incredibly cozy, and had everything we needed—including coffee and all the basic kitchen supplies. The beds were so comfy, and every little detail—from the plants to the furniture—made the home feel like a peaceful, stylish retreat. Holly was a truly amazing hostess, giving us spot-on recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We completely fell in love with Portland during our stay, and Holly’s home played a big part in that. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Holly, for everything!

Jeff and Emily’s house was perfect for a wine country stay! Great for all three of us as we had our own rooms! Location was awesome and getting to restaurants was super easy. Thanks for an awesome stay, we will be coming back for sure.

Randy’s place felt just like home. The backyard area to the river was well kept and a beautiful view. The bed was comfy and the living room was a great place to unwind. You do have to be able to Chromecast to the TV, but that was in the listing information. Randy has a great selection of books and we really enjoyed our stay!

Jamie and Ginnie were very accommodating hosts and their place is in a great location to explore the city - was perfect for my quick 2 night stay.

We stay with Therese about twice a year and have done so for years. It is close to our adult granddaughter's apartment and is a great place for our family to hang out together for meals and movies and other family activities. We love the peaceful surroundings including many big, beautiful old trees and proximity to the river. And though we have been coming for years, we still discover new things. This trip two of the new things in the neighborhood include J&R Mexican Food on McLoughlin, which has very tasty and reasonably priced Mexican food, as well as discovering Stringfield Family Park only a few blocks away on SE Naef Rd. It is also along the Trolley Trail (another good things for fitness walkers to know about in the neighborhood. Stringfield is a lovely place to have a picnic or stroll along a creek whose residents include ducks and nutria, and if you have playground age kids, they will love the fun and creative play structures! We always love staying at Therese's!

Cheyenne’s place was great! It’s a good location with a lot in walking distance. There is a train system that is going around every so often, but honestly it’s more peaceful than anything else (although I did grow up near train tracks). Our only issue were the upstairs neighbors on our last night we’re running around at 2 or 3 in the morning but it was also new years so a bit of rambunctious is to be expected. A great place to stay and well worth the price.

This was a truly lovely airbnb to stay in. Sellwood is my favourite Portland neighbourhood— I always try to stay nearby when I come to town, and the location of Lorie's place couldn't be beat. Lorie too was a lovely host. It was a last-minute booking and she made sure to have it ready in time for me. Pros: -Walkable! -Amazing kitchen for cooking, bright, spacious, and fully stocked -Natural cleaning products and no artificial scents in the apartment, including the linens -Plenty of seating options to enjoy meals, inside and outside -Perfect size shower with great water pressure -Everything clean -Nice touches throughout the apartment -Didn't feel cookie cutter, even the flooring was great (I think it's concrete or something more natural, not vinyl) Cons: -If you're *really* sensitive to noise, you can sometimes here people walking upstairs, but it wasn't bad -I like a really firm mattress and these were a little soft, but again, not bad Would absolutely stay here again! Loved this colorful and comfy unit in a lovely home in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I booked on a whim last minute and the host was immediately responsive. Normally I’d grab a boring and basic hotel room but I’m so glad I searched Airbnb for last minute options. It normally doesn’t pencil for one night because of cleaning fees so I was delighted that the fee was included. The food in the neighborhood looks amazing, but I was too tired to go out so I was grateful for the complimentary hot beverages and popcorn, to binge watch some TV haha. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were clean and bright. The backyard looked lovely, but sadly the weather didn’t provide for some time in the garden. Thanks for a great impromptu stay, I’d love to visit again sometime !

The stay with Darius & Petra was wonderful. Quaint location and very homey for my one night stay. My favorite amenity were the wireless phone chargers (two in the bedroom & one in the living room). Thank you again. ◡̈

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo! The bubbling brook provided a restful atmosphere, especially while enjoying a meal in the dining room or coffee in the balcony. Beddings and linens were plush and smelled clean. Our host was friendly and proactive, reaching out with instructions regarding check in and check out, and kept in touch with us. We also appreciated having a designated off street and covered parking spot. We highly recommend this condo and host. And would love to stay here again the next time we’re in the Salem/ Portland area!

Location was perfect, 45 min drive to Multnomah Falls, 2hr 30min drive to Seattle, less than 15min to all the must sees spots in Portland. The house was comfy, we felt safe and it had everything we needed.

This is absolutely one of best airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect, just blocked away from great coffee and bakery. The space is full of beautiful greens and is so well designed in every single detail. The host is super responsive and helpful. We especially love love love the kitchen. It’s easy to use, beautifully designed and it was such a great experience cooking in it. This healing experience feels like something that we had always missed coming from a busy city life. Would definitely come back again if we have a chance. Would highly recommend to anybody!!

After having to move from a host from He** to this place it was sooooooo refreshing. We overly LOVED this place. It’s so comfortable from the beds to the couch. The listing says it’s noisy because it’s on a Main Street but we heard NOTHING. We slept like brand new babies. It’s in a perfect place and not far everything. We will be staying here in future visits and I recommend if your looking make sure your booking cause it’s a wonderful place. The history of this house is Amazing and the owners have taken really good care of the place. I loved how the upstairs was set up and it’s so much space up there. The communication with this host was great and it was quick. My family of 6 were able to stay and get away from the world by being here and it was well deserved and needed. Thank you for being a wonderful host.

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Jean's place. She was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. It is a really comfortable space. We had our family (11 including us) over one night to hang out and there was plenty of room. I enjoyed watching the birds at her feeder in the mornings and taking walks in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful area!
