Carmarthenshire : séjours à la ferme

Lovely holiday cottage, in beautiful location. Neil and Kate helpful and welcoming hosts, and they have ensured the cottage is excellently equipped. The place is ideally located for exploring the Pembrokeshire/Ceredigion coast, from Aberystwyth in the north to Tenby in the south all within an hours drive. We really enjoyed a morning stroll with our dogs along the beach at Newport (open to dogs all year). There are plenty of nice pubs and eateries within easy reach of the property. We enjoyed a really nice week at Valley View, thanks Neil/Kate. A small point when visiting, follow the directions sent by the hosts, they are spot on. Don’t be tempted to use the google link provided by AirBnB! That takes you a location on the other side of Newchapel.

Absolutely loved our stay at Eirlys and Paul's lovely property, Y Cartws. Set in a tranquil, peaceful spot off the beaten track, it is perfectly placed for travel in every direction, and then return to the secluded tranquility after your travels. Eirlys and Paul are the most amiable of hosts, friendly and quick to respond at all times. Whilst the let property is completely separate and private, Eirlys and Paul's house is close by, and so they are on hand in case of emergency. My partner, myself and my young daughter all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were so sorry to leave, we would have happily spent forever there. It would be remiss not to mention the dogs, a lovely feature of the holiday, particularly Bella, a gorgeous little treasure that was so well behaved and friendly. Being a working farm there is the opportunity to get involved at times, which would be lovely and interesting, particularly for children. I can't recommend it enough, don't hesitate, get it booked! 😊

Difficult to write just a few words regarding our stay. Firstly what a friendly, welcoming couple, providing us with a lovely warm welcome with fresh eggs, biscuits and a bottle of wine. Beautiful surroundings and views from the bar and very peaceful. The barn inside is stunning, and has been provided with everything you require for a comfortable, stressfree stay. The location was perfect, within 30 minutes of surrounding beautiful beaches and many attractions. Would highly recommend staying here, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Second time coming back to Dafydd’s & Meryl’s and it’s always a dream. From the communication to the barn itself - absolutely perfect! Totally private and secluded location apart from some very cute sheep. Look forward to going back next year!

A lovely place to stay in a great location. Debbie was a great host. Only slight downside is a tricky turn off or across a busy dual carriageway to get there.

Had a great stay in Y Llofft Wair. Very clear instructions to get there. Libby always responded quickly and answered any questions we had. The place was extremely clean and ideal for what we wanted. Would definitely go back and stay again.

Our family had an amazing stay at Dol Y Frenni! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were fantastic—thoughtful, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the place feel like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Dol Y Frenni to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable retreat.

What an absolute gem of a location. The farm is fabulous and the house is cute and cosy. We had the best time staying there and exploring the many beauties Wales has to offer. The VIP animal experiences are a great additional extra. Thanks so much Phil and Zara. ❤️

Michelle’s home is in a beautiful location above a really attractive river valley near Cardigan, and is very cosy. We (2 adults and 2 children) had a great time visiting the Pembrokeshire coast from the house, and would definitely stay here again.

Our third stay, we keep coming back as it’s a fab place, private, clean and a good central point for travelling around. Go to The Station Pub! It’s great, reasonably priced and in walking distance!

Wonderfully quiet and just the place to unwind and relax away from home

The house was immaculate, spacious, clean, tidy, warm and Cosy, set in beautiful country side with a short walk to the beach. Just what we were looking for a romantic break within easy reach of some lovely beaches and walks. Highly recommended and we are already talking about going back for a longer stay.

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. I was planning to propose to my (now!) fiancée during our stay, and Gemma helped me pull off a beautiful surprise in the room — something we really enjoyed. Since we didn’t have a car, I was a bit concerned about getting around to a special spot I had in mind. The hosts went above and beyond to help my way. She also provided local recommendations and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed throughout the entire trip. Every interaction felt warm and genuine. Additionally the Airbnb itself is gorgeous with lots of character! Attention to detail including lighting and cleanliness made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend

What an amazing find, a very well equipped lodge with lots to keep us entertained, pool table, air hocky, table football, a swimming pool (which is bigger than the pictures make it look) and a massive hot tub. cant think of anything else we could have wanted. Very responsive host when needed. and its lovely to get away from the noise and be surrounded by peace. Great location to explore the beacons, or local countryside and lots of local towns a short drive away. we had a great time, and this lodge was a big part of that.

Our stay at the stables was bliss. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms and log burning fire were perfect to relax after a day exploring. We’ll equipped kitchen suited all cooking needs and felt right at home!

excellent location, down a track and through the MOD gates, so very secure and quiet. extremely clean! very cosy, quiet. the horses were lovely to see each morning as we came out of the driveway. welcome hamper was a lovely welcome addition after a long drive - thank you milk in the fridge was a bonus! we made great use of the firepit WiFi worked fine beds very comfortable but the pillows a little firm. instructions very handy the only thing I would say, is a few more basics like washing machine capsules, would be so helpful for those like me who end up forgetting these simple things! thank you for a lovely stay.

It was the perfect place for my family to stay. Ages ranged from 18-85 and everyone managed everything really well. We were in Pontardawe for my brothers funeral and I wanted to stay somewhere peaceful. That’s exactly what it was. There are many beautiful places to go nearby should we have required them but peace was what was needed and that’s what we got. Lovely host and was on hand if we needed anything. We didn’t because everything was there. A proper home from home. I couldn’t thank her enough for letting us stay in her classy but homely Airbnb

You have a real piece of heaven here. We absolutely loved our stay at Ruby 's fields. A gorgeous, peaceful setting amongst the Welsh farm lands. With views for miles! Annabel and Egan are wonderful hosts and made us all feel at home! The children have absolutely loved the swimming pool and playing with Hamish the dog. I couldn't fault our accommodations, everything we needed had been thought about. Even down to some handmade Happy Birthday bunting waiting on arrival, after I had mentioned we were celebrating our daughters birthday whilst staying. We will definitely be back to see you again! The place was really nice and had everything we needed. The location is great with fantastic views. We did a couple of nice walks, and could start both from the place, which made it very handy. Mez was a great host, very welcoming and helpful, and gave us some recommendations of what to do and where to go. We had a couple of questions for him during our stay and he responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again.
