Perfect place for myself and my 2 boys: 10 and 7yrs. A fully outdoor experience and a wonderful river for the boys to play irrigation channels in. The yurts were amazing, had everything you needed and more. Fran and Tony were wonderful hosts. The kids enjoyed it so much,asked to come back next weekend. They had the freedom just to be kids, running around making friends and building dens & going on adventures. The perfect weekend. Thank you Fran & Tony and your wonderful dogs too!

What a beautiful place in the middle of perfect nature. We are very busy people and this was the perfect place to unwind and switch off with the children. Location was quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be back. Natasha was a wonderful host checking in and replying to all my messages. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

Natasha Place is amazing everything I was expecting to have, like a nice and relaxing weekend away from city's. Sami Natasha's friend who did the check in with us because Natasha went away for the weekend was super nice with us explaining everything and super polite. overall if you want a nice away weekend/week for relaxing with wife and kids that's the place to go for. 5* definitely come back soon :)

Fran, Tony and Alex do an outstanding job at lark hill. We were expecting great things looking at the previous reviews and photos online. We were not disappointed (despite the wet weather) we loved everything about lark hill right down to the free range chickens and lovely stalking black cat! Our yurt was home from home in every way and spending a little time there in a time of national crisis was so refreshing. We cannot wait to return with the kids and make more epic memories. WOW! The most beautiful, peaceful, wholesome little cottage on what felt like sacred land. I am struggling to articulate the whole experience but everything was beyond perfect, the postcode took us right there. The cottage was absolutely beautiful with its very own unique feel to it, the whole space was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy, everything you need in the kitchen. The land itself felt enchanted, wild flowers, bee’s, abundance of birds, a fabulous stream flowing through. Lots of little magical parts of the land which have been careful created by Ange & her husband it’s just so special in every way. My partner had the pleasure of receiving sound healing from ange im her beautifully created space and said the whole experience was profound. Ange and her husband are very warm and welcoming within beautiful energy along with their daughter, dog & cat which we had the pleasure of meeting them all. This little beautiful place is exactly what the title states! Thank you so much

Absolutely loved our time at Carol’s yurt. Looks just like photos, and is extremely cosy. Despite high winds and a bit of rain we were able to enjoy the wood fired hot tub which was absolutely amazing and made us feel cosy and ready to relax. Having the adjacent kitchen and toilet right outside was extremely useful and meant that our stay was very comfortable (I like my comfort so was very pleased with this). The site is so eco friendly, it’s truly a pleasure to be there and the setup that Carol has created makes it very easy to follow so it doesn’t feel like any additional work, but makes you feel truly more at one with nature! Our stay was over New Year’s Eve and we didn’t get cold at all, the wood fired stove kept us very toasty. Lastly, the hosts themselves were awesome, made us feel at home, looked after and welcomed. There are also some great walks around and although WiFi is available, it felt very nice to switch off our phones and just feel fully off-grid. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing…We were the only people staying in the yurts at the time,as it was offseason. It was lovely. They really have thought of everything that u need for a little break away. Positive outlook to being an eco friendly vacation,their off the grid solutions were ingenious ,with no down side to them. If you’re looking for a short (or long) place to stay,getting away from life,this is your place. 10/10 we will be back.

Had an amazing stay in Toni’s yurt. Both her and her partner were super welcoming, lovely dogs, clear directions and a 5 star yurt experience. Exactly what we were looking for

We absolutely loved our weekend at David and Tam's Yurt / Open Lodge, it was peaceful, relaxing and gave us time to reset as a family and our doggy loved the enclosed field space around the yurt. David was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome, this was the perfect escape, comfy, cosy and had everything you could need. The bath was fab, a lovely experience. Loads of great beaches and villages within a short drive, we were sad to leave and are already missing it, would 100% return.

we had an amazing night in the yurt, beautiful surroundings, super friendly and welcoming hosts, we all had a really great time and will be a cherished memory will be booking again!
