We booked Josette’s place day of and we’re extremely satisfied. Gigantic bed, beautiful bathroom, good kitchen, and minutes away from the beach. We walked to most restaurants and having three grocery store across the street was extremely convenient for nights in. 100% recommend!

Well, I am one of the first to review this space so I will add a little more than the normal brief review so you know what to expect… lots of pros, no big cons really. As of this writing this place is basically brand new - probably finished in the past few months. There are still manufacturer stickers on things. Completely pristine. Good workmanship. Bathroom is perfect. Bedroom is perfect - bed is a bit firm but a lot of people like that. I slept well. The bedroom is air conditioned and well-sealed to the outside. The “hanging out space” is fully outside - so the kitchen and living area.. so don’t expect air conditioning in that area. That did not bother me but might not work for some groups. It’s really cute and very nice to sit outside and hear the monkeys and watch the world go by. Right next to a bakery. Short walk to restaurants and a medium sized grocery store. Can also walk to the beach - 7-10 minutes. Hosts were very nice and helpful and we used translator app to chat.

Lo de Giulia y Simone es un gran lugar para quedarse. Nosotros ocupamos un pequeño departamento muy cálido al cual Giulia le agregó una cama. Tenía todo lo que necesitamos. Esta ubicado en una zona espectacular con mucha vida y a dos cuadras de el acceso a una playa muy linda con mucha vegetación y muy buena para surfear donde todos los días hay alguna ola. De la casa a la playa no tardábamos más de 5 minutos. Además tiene una sala común rodeada de vegetación que te invita a quedarte envuelto en esta. Estuvimos viviendo junto con un amigo por dos meses y desde el minuto 0 que tanto Giulia como Simone nos trataron como amigos. El primer día nos esperaron con una sonrisa hasta las 10 de la noche, luego nos dieron recomendaciones y nos mostraron el lugar. Siempre que tuvimos alguna duda (desde donde surfear hasta donde comprar pescado) les preguntamos y siempre nos pudieron responder ayudándonos con cariño. Sin duda hicieron que el viaje fuera excepcional.

We had a wonderful stay with Sarah and her beautiful family. We look forward to returning in the future and would highly recommend her house to others!

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool könnte etwas sauberer sein aber alles in Allem war es super.

If you find availability to book this slice of paradise, don’t hesitate. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 month and Betty is literally the best host you could ask for. She will always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is more comfortable and accommodate your needs. I was working remotely here and was worried about the wifi and Betty went ahead and upgraded the internet to the highest speed to accommodate me and it was perfect for work. Betty’s place is perfectly located in the best part of Santa Teresa, just far enough from the dust and noise of the strip to have peace. It’s a short 7 min walk to the beach and the walk back is uphill (ATV recommended) but is worth the spectacular view. The place is very clean and well designed, with fans provided. One of my favourite things to do was watch the sunrise from the property’s helicopter landing pad in the morning. There is a worker onsite that helps with cleaning and made the place feel secure. This place is a hidden gem.

Great communication with host and overall stay. Very easy access to the beach by walking down a small hill. The kitchen was a major benefit and close proximity to grocery stores, so we could cook a lot of meals during our stay. Plenty of space for two people to work and take phone calls during the daytime with the added desk. Cleaner came by frequently and was very kind and helpful, so we always had a spotless and sand-free home to return to.

We loved our stay! Stephano has created a unique, artsy space. The space is open, airy and connected to the outdoors. It is perfectly located outside of town yet in a great location for seeing the area. The yard is gorgeous and we loved the outdoor spaces with the hammocks. Stephano is a joyful host and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. The place is a gem, you can feel the love. If you are looking for a space that connects you to nature this place is for you! Be sure to eat at Playa de los Artistas. Hard to leave.

Parada obligatoria en esta zona de Costa Rica. Todo es cerca. No salimos de la casa. Fue nuestro descanso a mitad de nuestro viaje por todo el país. La anfitriona fue de primera desde el inicio. Cómo no viajamos en 4 x 4, nos arrimaron desde donde dejamos vehículo hasta la casa al ingreso y al egreso. Y siempre disponible para alcanzar desde el pueblo lo que hiciera falta. El entorno es maravilloso. Y los lomos aulladores nunca te dejan solo. Volveríamos, sin dudas. Y el camino de ingreso es una linda aventura también. Todo de 10! Gracias!!!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Remy and were able to soak up all the best parts of the area while having the comfort of a beautiful home and pool. Location was great for getting to the beach. We walked twice a day usually morning and sunset to the water. We rented an ATV to get around otherwise but walking to the edge of town is possible. It felt quiet and just far enough from the busy main part of Carmen/Santa Teresa which we definitely preferred. The house had every amenity we needed and we were able to cook daily with the stocked kitchen. The pool area is beautiful, sometimes in the sun and always shade under the awning. Pool area is slippery when wet, for little ones something to be mindful of but not more than any other pool area. It felt private even though there were neighbors next door. Our hosts provided help finding things to do in the area which we loved, especially our boat tour with Freddy. We hope to come back again to this incredible home and community!

Avenida Cielo is a closed street making it very quiant and cozy. Walking down the beach with a fresh coffee and coconut cream to start the day was just what we needed! Stephane is very attentive, friendly and gives great local recomendations - made us feel very comfortable. Pura Vida!

We had an amazing month-long stay at Elias’s place in Manzanillo Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to Santa Teresa to enjoy all the great restaurants and activities without the constant noise and traffic. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, but one of our favorite things was relaxing in the hammock after lunch, watching the howler monkeys in the trees right above us. It was such a unique and special experience! If you’re looking for a tranquil spot with easy access to Santa Teresa but without the crowds, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

The house was very nice and perfect with two children. Cynthia and her husband were very kind and flexibel hosts (and we weren't the easiest guest for them!). So I would definitely recommend to stay here.

What an incredible stay! It was stunning. Very clean. The staff is so nice and friendly! The grounds are beautiful, the garden is very well maintained. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect location on Jaco Beach! You're within walking distance of dozens of great restaurants, literally within a few blocks of you. The condo was spectacular, the views magnificent, and the service from Dream Maker's matched the quality of the property! 100% first-class in every way!!

Los condominios son muy bonitos. Nos gusta mucho que el parqueo sea privado, y las personas en la entrada (o portón) son muy amables. El área de la piscina es muy limpia y amplia, y el acceso a la playa es muy fácil. El condominio es muy cómodo; todo estaba muy limpio, y la cocina estaba muy bien equipada. ¡Los aires acondicionados funcionan perfectamente!

Excelente estadía. Es un lugar tranquilo, con fácil acceso a restaurantes y supermercados. Muy cerca de la playa para disfrutar de los hermosos atardeceres. El anfitrión es muy atento, se tiene una excelente comunicación. La casa está muy ordenada y la cocina cuenta con todos los accesorios necesarios para cocinar. Quedamos muy contentos.

Très grand condo avec grande aire ouverte. Bien équipé et fonctionnel. Vue magnifique sur le jardin et piscine, nous avons observé beaucoup d’oiseaux. Sécuritaire et proche des restaurants.

Staying here for a year, the owner and David allowed us to make this place our home. The condo is very roomy for a family of 3. The beautiful beach is about a mile away. Grocery stores are close by and walkable. The condo is up in the hills so the views are wonderful. The amenities here are really nice: pool, patio, grill. Amazing neighbors! There are lots of fruit trees here and beautiful birds. The unit itself is really nice. There are 1st and 2nd floor balconies, 2-1/2 bathrooms, open concept kitchen/dining room/living room. For our family we used 2 bedrooms, but there is a 3rd bedroom on the lower level as well. There is also storage for our bikes in the garage. David is a pleasure to work with. He quickly responded to any issues we had. I must say that living here for a year is much different than a week or 2 stay. As with any home you are going to have some issues - big and small. But having David and owner accessible has allowed our stay to be quite enjoyable.
