Carmen Beach : locations de vacances

The place is really great and very remote, which of course is great for the peace it gives but getting there is a bit difficult. We didn’t had a 4x4 but I would recommend it. But the place is so nice surround by nature and wildlife. We had monkeys, birds and iguanas visiting. The kids loved it. The pool is absolute gorgeous and we used it constantly. Thanks for the nice stay.

Estuvimos hospedados con un grupo de amigos. Nos gustó mucho el lugar, cerca de la playa, de restaurantesy supermercados. Dana siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros y nos ayudo con todos los inconvenientes que tuvimos ❤️. La pasamos muy bien.

My stay at this Airbnb was amazing. The host, Judit, was incredibly helpful, and the housekeeper did a fantastic job keeping the home clean, even handling laundry and mopping the floors daily—such great service. The home itself is stunning, but there are a few things future guests should know. It has an indoor-outdoor layout, so the main living areas (kitchen, living room) are open to the outside with no air conditioning. Only the bedrooms have A/C, and you’ll need to keep the doors shut to keep them cool. Most of the showers are outdoors, and because of the open design, you’ll encounter ants, crickets, water bugs, and even hear monkeys in the early mornings. If you’re not into nature or bugs, this may not be the right fit. The property sits high on a very steep hill. Proper transportation is essential—we tried to go up on motorcycles and had to walk part of the way. It’s a serious workout, so plan ahead for getting back up. We loved our stay at Casas del Soleil. The property is stunning, surrounded by nature, and the villa was spotless with a well-equipped kitchen. Its location, set back from the main road, ensures a peaceful environment. Soraya is truly a treasure and her staff were exceptional. She provided excellent restaurant recommendations, arranged our airport transfer and ATV delivery. The cleaning service was top-notch, and they even took care of our laundry. The pool was an added bonus! I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

Beautiful location and property. View is fantastic. Pool area was lovely. Outdoor bathroom was a vibe. Felt extremely private and peaceful. Fairly quick access to town in Santa Teresa. Our host/concierge Fiona was extremely responsive and helpful. Our first time in Costa Rica so a few notes for other first time visitors relevant to this property. The roads to access the house are really rough which made coming and going an adventure. 4x4 helpful. In April, temp is fairly hot and high humidity. The AC kept the bedrooms nice and cool but the main room stayed pretty warm. House is set in the beautiful jungle which means wildlife at all times of day and night. Very fun but also a LOT of noise. Bring earplugs if a sensitive sleeper. A few small issues with the appliances during our stay but everything was resolved reasonably. Overall our trip was fabulous and would absolutely book with this host and property again.

Conozco Mal País y Santa Tere por más de 20 años y JAMÁS HE VIVIDO UNA EXPERIENCIA COMO ESTA GRACIAS A PABLO Y SU FINQUITA! Si estas buscando el lugar de tus sueños en el lugar de tus sueños , no lo dudes más ! Esté hermoso lugar complementa el paraíso, tiene TODO , lo que un viajero sueña y más! TOTALMENTE PRIVADO, pero a la vez con una ubicación perfecta, con un supermercado a 1 min a pie súper equipado con Vinos y Cortes Carne premium, mariscos, frutas de temporada y a 10 min a pie de un mercado de pescados ! La casa es bella , los cuartos amplios, la cocina un sueño , el A/C realmente helado, TV con Netflix wowwwww!!! Gracias Pablo por hacer increíble mi instancia, llegué de madrugada y siempre atento a mí! Espero y deseo volver , es que te quedas corto con la descripción, un jardín enorme , espacio para varios vehículos, patio , una sala enorme … juro volver !!!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Our kids said one of their favorite things about the trip was the "borrowed house"😂. The home was spacious and great for our two families with three kids (3, 5, and 5). It was very clean and we loved the plants in the bathrooms, it felt like a jungle spa. The kitchen was decently stocked were we did a fair amount of meals at home. For us it was an easy walk to the beach for our 5-year-olds, but sometimes the 3-year-old wanted a piggyback ride on the way back up the hill. We all loved the morning monkey visits and lots of pool time in between beach and hiking adventures. Hope to come back again some time soon!

We loved the location, directly across from a beautiful lagoon. Birds singing all morning long, howlers in the distance, even saw some iguanas and caiman in the water. They were not a threat, but really nice to see. Great neighborhood, scarlet macaws squawking constantly. The rental house itself was as advertised and everything we needed. Very happy with our decision to stay there. Finally, Lisa is the manager and a delightful lady. We got tips on restaurants, places to go sight see, and the farmers market on the weekend. Stayed in many places, many destinations, Lisa is invaluable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Enjoy. Pura Vida
