Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

Very nice guest cottage in a beautiful garden. Everything was just as pictured and described. Very clean, private parking and an extremely quiet neighborhood. Great location just a quick 10-minute walk to the station and restaurants around it and a 20-minute walk to the Sigulda New Castle. Very responsive host. Highly recommend!

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

Есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Отзывчивый, гостеприимный хозяин. Все понравилось. P.S. Берите с собой непрозрачный скотч) В коридоре свет работает от датчика движения без возможности отключения этой функции , это может создать небольшой дискомфорт. P.P.S. При заселении в несколько человек, учтите что горячей воды в бойлере на всех может не хватить. В целом всё хорошо.

very fast response times, nice and tidy, but very small apartment, no problems for small trips with 1-2 people.

Nice accommodation in a great location within the Old Town. One minute walk to Doma laukums, 10–15 minutes to the main train station. The apartment was very clean and quite well-equipped (the kitchen could use some more utensils, but is absolutely fine for a few days' stay). The only downside that is already clear from the pictures is the lack of large windows, making the apartment pretty dark. Communication with the host was quick and the instructions were perfectly understandable.

Small apartment in the city center across from the park. Conveniently located to reach any point in the city. Spacious, bright room with all the necessary amenities and a lovely view of the courtyard. The closets for belongings are not very convenient, but there is plenty of space. Overall, it left a pleasant impression.

We had a great stay in Karlis place, it was conveniently located and has parking. Shops are just few minutes walk away and there was a small restaurant just at the doorstep

This gem in Riga had everything we needed for a great stay. Bedroom: The bed was perfect for us (a tiny bit on the harder side which was just right for us). It's reccomended to keep the window in the bedroom open when your home as well as in the living room to keep the heat down). But it was very well set. Livingroom/Kitchen: Clean, spotless and good ammenities for pur stay. We had what we needed to cook and enjoy a late evening in the living room with a good movie on a rainy day. A small point of improvement would be some coffie comming with the apartment but its something we could easily buy ourselves. Oh and the dishwasher was a +! Bathroom: Clean, stylish and with floor heating. Nice rain shower and general good vibe on design. it can get a but warm in the bathroom so keep the door closed to the living room and turn off floor heating before leaving the apartment. Location: Perfect range for the central and old city of Riga. Overall: We can reccomend! :)

Great flat. Vita was an amazing host that went above and beyond for us. We had a small baby with us and she organised to supply many baby things. Flats location in old town was easy access to main sights and really easy for bus to and from airport. Excellent experience overall!

Really clean & comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of Sigulda centre and the skeleton track.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Very spacious, excellent kitchen & amenities. Very comfy beds, plenty of spare towels. Some really nice bars, restaurants & Cafes within a minutes walk. Around 20 minutes walk to the centre/old town but very easy to get a taxi/bolt. A lot of the restaurants near the apartment were always busy so best to book a couple of days in advance to ensure you have a reservation. If we visit here again would definitely book this accommodation if it's available.

Excellent location and a really beautiful apartment, looks just like the photos. Quick walk to old town. There is a park and a tennis club right next to the building, which was a plus for me. The host was very friendly and responding quickly. Apartment has a good and quite AC unit, which was very useful as the weather was surprisingly hot in Riga during that week. Overall, excellent stay!

Very large and comfortable apartment. Had beds for all of us. The apartment was super clean. The instructions were very well explained and easy to understand.

Definitely one of the best air bnbs I've stayed at. Martins communication was great, giving clear instructions to get in a good time in advance. The place was spotless and cosy and comfortable. Big points for supplying coffee!!!
