This place was the picture perfect escape I never knew I needed. This was my first time at Kure beach too. The place was immaculate and had everything I needed. Loved the oceanfront and having the beautiful beach so close. Caught the most beautiful sunrise. I will definitely be back the next time I need some R&R!!

Kure Lighthouse provided the perfect beach getaway. The location, right next to the beach, was unbeatable, and the décor throughout was beautiful. We did experience some noise issues from neighboring guests, but when we reached out to the host, he was incredibly responsive and took immediate action to resolve the situation. We really appreciated his attentiveness and commitment to ensuring our comfort. It was also a great plus to have a charging station available. We highly recommend Kure Lighthouse for for a fantastic beach vacation. The combination of the stunning location, lovely décor, responsive host, and added amenities like the charging station make it a top choice!

We loved our stay here in early November. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. We were pleasantly surprised with the nearby restaurants—especially the breakfast place down by the dock, Ocean View. We were happy that we had the quieter Kure experience combined with more options in Carolina Beach next door. Hosts always responded quickly. We recommend it.

The complex that the Airbnb is located in was fantastic. I am looking to move to Wilmington and if they would’ve had bigger rooms, I would probably have moved into this same building. Mary was always super responsive and described in detail everything we had questions to. Fantastic place and fantastic host.

We booked Mollys place for a last minute family weekend and we were very impressed with the location and home! Would absolutely do it again 🩷

Let me be honest, this places is one of the best felt like Southbeach Miami, just near my home few hours away no need to travel to far to get the same view, great food around, the broadway was amazing to get to the bay and my kids love it The host amazing with descriptions about this Zone, the beach right next to us, our room was amazing, I can’t wait to book again hopefully more days to get disconnected from reality. If you want seafood Michels seafood 5 starts great food, great drinks and a lot thing to do make sure to book more than 2 nights, because you will not want to leave this place

We loved our stay at the Lighthouse! Waking up to the oceanfront sunrise was incredibly beautiful. The location was perfect, with several restaurants within walking distance, and the beach was also just a short walk away. The place was very cozy, clean, and felt like home as soon as we checked in. The staff was very nice and communicative, always asking if we needed anything. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

This home was wonderful! Very modern and stylish, clean and well stocked. Everything worked and it looks just like the pictures. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to book again if we ever find ourselves back in Oak Island.

Very nice home perfect for our extended family. The puzzle/game loving family especially loved the 2nd dining table aka puzzle table.

We had the most enjoyable visit here. The home was exactly as described. We felt at home and comfortable as soon as we got into the house. We loved staying right on the beach. It was totally relaxing and peaceful. Even with someone above us in the upper part of the house and with homes on each side, it just felt so private which is what we prefer. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Sabine couldn’t have been any better. Great host. Great accommodations. Great location. Great trip.

Really great experience! Coming from a person who prefers to stay in hotels (just never know what you’re going to get with Air BnB) and Rachel’s place totally lived up to the reviews and photos/description! Our 1 year old had a blast in the play room and there was everything we needed right in the home. If you’re contemplating staying on the beach or here (and you have little ones) definitely consider staying here and just walking to the beach. Well worth the price! Thank you Rachel, we will be back!

Our multigenerational family trip to Mike’s home for Thanksgiving was amazing. The house was spacious and accommodated our large group perfectly. Our kids ranging from 11 to 21 enjoyed having the park across the street to play basketball and pickleball. Publix was within walking distance as well as a great pizza place just a 3 min walk up the road. The sunsets though were our favorite part. We could sit on the top deck and enjoy listening to the ocean while watching sunset. Gracious host, beautiful house, and a great town! Couldn’t have been a better family vacation.

I've been to oak island a couple times and Katie's place was my favorite so far. Very responsive host and a great house. The set up for bringing our dog was perfect with the fenced in back yard, as well as the screened in section of the deck. I definitely will be back. Thank You Katie.

We had a fantastic stay. So easy to communicate with Kendra and the home was exactly what we expected. Had adequate stock of kitchen stuff and basic cooking items (spices, etc). Lots of great decorating touches. We loved having the bikes available since the trail is literally right across the street. We did a tour of UNCW and Flying Machine brewery on the bikes. The hot tub was great and the back room is huge for dinner and game night. Also, if you are a trail runner/dog owner there is a huge network of trails to explore right across the street.

Just Perfect!! Everything you need and more. Beautiful condo with great views in the master bedroom!!! And a great coffee/wine shop across the way. Check in couldn’t be easier,just like home.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. It felt just like home & none of us wanted to leave. We had 7 of us and we had plenty of space. Our 7 year old enjoyed the loft space & made that his bedroom for the week. Everything we needed was right at our finger tips…The view was STUNNING! Only a 2 min walk to beach & 5 min walk to boardwalk… super convenient to everything we wanted to do. Every one of my kids felt like they were at home & we can’t wait to come back. Brandon was very responsive & honestly it was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The dock was nice to retreat at nighttime & the VIEWS of the sunset *stunning* the windows & doors allowed us to see the docks at all times of day. Also ok top floor you can get a view of the ocean & the morning sunrise! So relaxing. You won’t regret it.

Our stay at Pop's Villa was a five-star experience! The condo was exactly as shown—clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. In addition, the linens were crisp and clean. Warren, the owner, was exceptional from the start, providing clear written instructions on Airbnb, as well as helpful videos, which made for easy access to parking, the lockbox, and the condo. These small details made check-in/check-out a virtually effortless experience. Warren also offered great dining recommendations and checked in to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. The condo’s location is perfect, with stunning views of the famous Cape Fear River and bridges, the USS NC Battleship and Downtown Wilmington's unique RiverWalk, located just across the street. Downtown Wilmington’s charming shops, restaurants, and friendly locals made the area even more special. Pop's Villa offers the ideal combination of comfort, location, and hospitality. We highly recommend it and eagerly await a return visit!

Our stay was just wonderful. Condo listed as expected and was perfect. Great location as you can walk to everything. Condo was very clean and right on the beach. 2 cons... 1. sliding door tough to open but easy fix and next door had a howling dog when left alone. other than that just great

Mira-Mar's pla e was just as described. Beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset's. Easy access to the pool and out to the ocean. I really liked the locked unit, it made it feel a little more safe and the parking was nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Laurie’s place was beautiful. It was in such an amazing location and so close to everything. The space was gorgeous. It was decorated nicely with very relaxing warm lighting. Views out of top floor were wonderful with the river and bridge in the background. We will definitely be returning in the future!!! 10/10 experience

I've stayed in AirBnbs from Montreal to Paris to Charleston & more. Of all the places through the years, this is THE BEST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED. It's the first time my best friend and I have taken our dogs & the apartment was well suited for two dogs. Well furnished, comfortable beds, pristine cleaning, well appointed kitchen with more than the usual pots and pans. Not overly-decorated, but warm & inviting. We wanted for nothing. The water pressure was excellent and the adjustable showerhead was appreciated by our somewhat older bones - good water pressure is hard to find at the beach. The place looked good in the photos and exceeded the photos "in person". A great view of the ocean, quiet at night, not rowdy or noisy. We felt safe in the immediate area. It was quite cold while we were there, and the extra blankets came in handy. Easy instructions and communication from our host made it effortless to check in and out. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great little getaway right on the water! The condo is just a couple minutes walk from the boardwalk, with tons of restaurants and activities. The view is beautiful and the beach is peaceful, especially in winter for our trip. I would love to stay again!
