Incredible stay. All the details hung together perfectly. We were looking for something both luxe but different and close to the beach. This was a 3 minute walk to the beach and frankly was as close as you can get to the beach other than millionaires’ homes and mega hotels. This place stood out like a crown jewel from the rest. The greenhouse room was up a spiral staircase, and being at the end of our short trip to PR I felt like I could truly unwind, swing in the hammock and appreciate just being - before moving to the next part of our itinerary. Highlights were the unique architecture. Interior decor / aesthetic. Great AC / fan. Cozy lighting. Hammock was fun. Curtains did their trick. Shower was huge and felt outdoorsy. This place was the tits! My boyfriend who is a light sleeper was worried at first about light disrupting him, and noise - GOOD NEWS is the curtains did their thing as very thick material. Noise levels were high until 10:30 or so (from the sky bar!) then no noise!

Andie is a one of a kind host!!! This unit is extremely clean and modern and a bang for your buck!! She is located in a prime location and speaks great English/Spanish! She also provides breakfast and has a great list of local recommendations. I will be booking again and again and again!!

Great location, close to lots of activities for families with children. Uncluttered and with enough space for us to spread out a bit at the end of each day. The TVs in each room (with cable!) helped. :) The washer and dryer were life-saving after each beach day with three kids. Antonio was a wonderful host. We appreciated his list of local recommendations and kept referring back to his email to decide what to do and check things off the list. All in all, an absolutely wonderful vacation spot.

This is a superbly located no-frills dormitory-style rental that can accommodate a large group among its private bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and opens to the outside courtyard. The kitchen also opens up to the outside courtyard. 5-minute walk to the beach, and within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and the Ocean Park Walgreens which has many quality grocery staples. The kitchen is barely stocked and very minimally provisioned. There is a microwave but no oven, so cooking is limited to the stovetops. The rooms all have A/C but the kitchen does not and the only other communal area where you can gather/eat together is out on the shared courtyard. If you're looking for a simple and well located home base to lay your head as you explore PR, with private bedrooms, this place is perfect. The host was very responsive and helpful when we needed it and check-in/out was a breeze. Would recommend fully.

Our stay at this Airbnb in Puerto Rico was absolutely wonderful! The location was peaceful and very relaxing. The place was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Our host was incredibly responsive and proactive, providing us with so many great recommendations for food, activities, and even spots in the more touristy areas. While the Airbnb was pretty far from everything, the drive to the city, supermarket, and things to do wasn’t too far, making it a great balance of seclusion and convenience. One of the highlights was the homemade bread that she and her husband baked from their company—it was amazing! We loved it so much that we brought some back to the U.S. and enjoyed it for a whole week. It was so fresh and delicious! This Airbnb did not disappoint, and my family and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Puerto Rico!

Perfect space to unwind after a busy day. Easy access off the hwy. Host was very responsive as we had a little confusion in check in. Great kitchen and living room space. Washer and éter were a big plus. Upper deck was fun the rental is well worth it.

Great place. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Pristine shower and toilet. Everything needed for preparing a meal was provided. Great view from the bedroom windows. A/C was cold. Andi was very nice and accomodating. There were free peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches for guest. An easy 10 minute walk to the grocery and bus stop. 30 minute walk to the Supermaxi. 5/5 recommended!

Very nice and peaceful place with the greatest greeter ever. Andie is very attentive and Usagi is lovable.

It’s a very nice place and well maintained. The neighbors have a loud dog that woke me up a couple of nights, and the owner didn’t respond after a couple of requests as to how to handle that. But it’s clean and nice otherwise

i would recommend for everyone. very close to transporting and by highway. cheap too. very responsive and respectful host. above and beyond hospitality. 5 Stars 🇵🇷

Elle was the most amazing host! Truly worrs can’t describe how great of a host she was and how great her space is! She was flexible about check in (we arrived at 9 am and she told us we could check i whenever as the place was ready!). The space was spotless, well equipped and cute! She even had a welcome basket for us. Amenities were amazing. She had beach chairs, towels, and toys. Elle was super responsive whenever we messaged. We even chatted about our love of dogs extensively. Elle had TONS of recommendations of things to do and places to eat. I travel to PR often and will likely be booking Elle’s place again!

Andie Literally treated me like family ! like she was my long lost Puerto Rican prima ! She made sure I was comfortable. Gave me tips with my unborn son . When I had an issue with the WiFi she was super quick and responsive. I did experience a small power outage while I was there wasn’t too bad or long . Andie’s place looked exactly like the pictures. I can say with cleanliness it could have been a bit better just in the bedroom the sheets and pillows had a weird smell to me, my pregnancy nose smells everything ! Location was literally close to everything Ubers were super reasonable. Would definitely stay with her again in the same unit ! Overall my experience was great for my birthday trip .

This is a beautiful setting and just a wonderful place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, I loved sitting on the balcony watching the clouds roll over and listening to the frogs at night, The walk down to the river is a little steep if you have older knees - but with my hiking shoes and a stick it was fine. And so worth it!

My partner Alan and I stayed for two nights at Casa Cabuy. This place is absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The private waterfall and pool were the cherry on top of the cake!!! Matthew was extremely helpful in guiding us to good local restaurants, all the prime hiking trails, and was overall the most helpful host I've ever had. The food every morning was BEYOND delicious and made from scratch and the freshly squeezed juices were to die for. Honestly... If you don't stay here during your trip to PR, you're missing out. P.s. the locals in Naguabo are amazing!!! Hands down my favorite city here.

Casa Cubuoy was one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts were very friendly and approachable. The views were striking with a mountain side of the rainforest right in front and the direct access to a private path to the river and waterfall was a treat! Just hanging out and chatting with other guests was a very rewarding part of our stay. The southern access to the rainforest is much less busy and thus provided an option to experience the rainforest. Mathew connected us with Skip who gives two hour evening tour and morning birding tour in the forest. Skip was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed both tours. Highly recommended!

Staying at Joaquin’s place is nothing short of magical. He has created a retreat from the world while still being able to see it below from the house and the gardens. I learned so much about Puerto Rica and botany. Joaquin is such a special person with a huge heart and unbelievable knowledge. You’ll want to talk to him for hours! Meeting the other guests was a fun experience as well. I appreciated that my room had a private bathroom and refrigerator. The breakfast Joaquin made was so beautiful and filling. Can’t recommend staying here enough- it’s uniquely captivating. I’m looking forward to coming back to see my new friend and his ever-evolving sanctuary!

Perfectly situated on a residential street in downtown San Juan. Beautiful room in a beautiful, well maintained property. Hosts are so friendly and breakfast was great every morning with local cuisine. Updated amenities with old world charm. Loved staying here. Would definitely stay here again. Very walkable to the rest of old San Juan.

Our stay at Casa Cubuy was incredible. The surrounding area is stunning. Every room has a view of the rainforest and the lodge is quite peaceful. Matthew and Marianne were great hosts. The check in was flexible, they were communicative and welcoming, and they were responsive throughout our stay. The lodge has a rustic feel. There was no AC, but the ceiling fan and the screened windows kept us cool enough. We had a little lizard friend in our room, but he left us alone - I'm sure he was helping keep the room free of bugs! Personally I found the sounds of the rainforest at night very soothing. Birds, frogs, and the wind created some noise, but I enjoyed it (I'm coming from a city where the norm is sirens). I would absolutely come back to casa cubuy. The hosts were great, the lodge was comfortable, and the setting is unparalleled.

So peaceful and extremely convenient location to walk around. The garden is gorgeous and the decor was breathtaking!
