Thank you for hosting us at your awesome home. It was perfect for our group of ski racing ladies! Location is great and overall the house is really, really nice!!

2nd time staying here for a guys ski weekend! everyone was stoked to stay here again! it is in great proximity to sunday river and 2 doors down from the matterhorn ski bar! hot tub was awesome and the ping pong table in the basement was fun! we did alot of cooking at the house and the kitchen and dinning room where very spacious! we all loved that log cabin feel and being in the mountains!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Sherri’s place was great- our family stayed during a snow storm and we felt safe and cozy. The hot tub and string lights outside were a lovely touch- the hot tub felt new and very easy to use. Our kids enjoyed feeding the deer each day and it’s a short drive to Sugarloaf for great skiing. We’d love to come back!

A wonderful experience! The cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures! So many thoughtful touches. We loved having robes and slippers. The hot tub is fantastic - amazingly clean and with views of the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality items - even well-cared for cast iron pans. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets! All communication with hosts was wonderful. The welcome binder had great suggestions and clear instructions - we enjoyed snowshoeing at one of the recommended places. We loved our stay and hope to return!!

Look no further for your next stay in the mountains of Maine, and only a short drive from Sugarloaf. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. The place is exactly as described and was fully stocked with everything you’ll need throughout your stay. It has a very charming “mountain” touch and honestly was difficult to leave.. The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes as well. What stood out the most for us was the care, attention, & responsiveness of the hosts. They were very flexible with checking in/out. We also left a bag behind and they made it their top priority to get it shipped back to us asap. I cannot recommend this place enough! Spectacular experience from beginning to end.

We had a great stay at Carly’s cabin. The beds were comfy, everything was clean, and kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful view of Mt. Abram and lots of board games to play. Will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We liked the proximity to snowmobile trails, the pellet stove, and the TV options. Thanks and we will be back.

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

All i can say is .. AMAZING . Small yet has everything you need. Beautiful location .. Extremely clean. Liz was amazing and always ready to answer any questions you may have. Would highly recommend. Even the pillows were great lol. Definitely going back.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

Nice cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, had an amazing couple days here.

I had an absolutely magical stay at Camp Moonbud. It was just me but I could have fit the family. For starters, it’s on a beautiful lake. The house is cozy and lovingly decorated, high-end linens, well stocked kitchen, and spotlessly clean. They didn’t miss a thing. I was the last visitor of the season and the chill was setting in, mist coming up off the lake in the mornings, and the most beautiful evening sunsets. I can imagine what a joy it must be to be here in the height of summer. The camp is located near to great hiking (I hiked), good food (I ate), and not far from Midcoast or Portland. The proprietors – Amy and Dana - are unmatched. They are responsive and warm and engaged Mainers; they picked up a grocery order for me because I was getting in late the first night, left treats for my morning breakfast, and even invited me to join their Sunday morning running gang! Huge bonus. Left Readfield with a couple of new friends! Highly recommend this gem.

Jason's cabin is just what the doctor ordered for a long weekend ski trip! A wide open floor plan, a large and comfortable couch, all the creature comforts of home, a covered deck to sit out on to relax, etc. We were close to town for groceries and dinner at a local restaurant and also close to Saddleback mountain for skiing. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future!

excellent séjour comme la dernière fois en juin. on a eu la chance d'avoir même de la neige ce week-end. Ce chalet est l'idéal pour déconnecter, se ressourcer, relaxer et profiter de la nature. On adore y aller et on y reviendra encore. Merci à vous deux !

A great place to stay!!! Communication back and forth couldn’t be any better!!!! Very accommodating!!!! The only issue we had was having a 8.5 x 30 snowmobile trailer the driveway and parking area was a little tight but we made it work. Great host and a nice little cabin!!! Would definitely recommend it for snowmobiling.

We had a great time at the cabin despite it raining during our ski days. Location is perfect for all that Sugarloaf has to offer. Would definitely look to stay here again!

Would highly recommend booking this cabin! My friends and I stayed here for a Saddleback ski weekend and this cabin felt like home. Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable bed it felt very homely. My friends and I were comfortable the whole stay. Steve was very proactive and helpful before and during our stay. Fantastic host! Would love to book this again in the future!

Chris’s place was great for our weekend stay. Close to Bethel and Black Mountain. Perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, and very peaceful.
