Words can describe how friendly Beto and Javier way. Very accommodating and extremely helpful. I had an emergency one night and had to go to the hosptal. The unfortunate mistake I made is that I didn't learn Spanish before leaving the U.S. Thank God Beto was so kind, he drove me, communicated with the staff and waiting until i saw the doctor and drove us home. I am not sure what I would have done without his help (even though I have Google translate on my phone). Every morning there was fresh coffee and great breakfast that was different each day. The room is very small and so is the workspace, but managed ok. Good internet. Beto was so kind and very helpful - he even did a load of wash for me too. I met several of his friends who were also very nice. I can't say enough great things about my stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IT

Álvaro vive en el hospedaje, como anfitrión, esto fue una cosa positiva porque el es absolutamente discreto, pero extremadamente servicial. Haciéndome sentir como en mi propia casa al instante. Su vasto conocimiento del territorio Costarricense, lo convierte en la mejor opción como el mejor guia de turismo, ya sea aconsejando a donde ir dependiendo de tus gustos, o llevándote personalmente a los mejores puntos de interés. Haciendo de mis vacaciones en Costa Rica, como una de las mejores e inolvidables que jamás haya tenido. Habiendo visitado muchos países, puedo asegurar sin temor a equivocarme que Alvaro es sin duda un anfitrión y un guía de turismo no de cinco estrellas, pero uno de 10 estrellas 100% y bien merecido. I will think fondly and memorably about my time at Bogana house for the rest of my days. I met so many fun, interesting and genuinely kind people during my stay there. Paula, the resident house-mom is incredible! If there were a world championships for being a house-mom then Paula would be the undisputed world champion of the world. She's like the Michael Phelps of house-moms. Paula is there for whatever you may need, she is hilarious to talk with and I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know her. The house is very well located with whatever you may need in walking distance. Her family also could not be kinder. I'd like to make a special shoutout to her son Daniel, who is the most well behaved teenager I've ever encountered and a very interesting and awesome person. Evangeline is highly responsive and I got the sense she is also a natural and intuitive caregiver. You will be in great hands with these ladies! The house itself is truly amazing! I can't wait to visit again soon!!!

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

Easy to find. Very close to many things. Restaurants, shopping, parks, buses, church, etc. Easy walk to San José Centro Fairly quiet end of Calle 33 - except Saturdays until 11:30 or 12. Host very responsive. Simple but quite adequate! Mari, the housekeeper, very sweet and helpful!

Très bonne prise en charge à l'aéroport par un chauffeur professionnel et sympathique. Il nous a emmené directement aux logements. Sur place Luis nous a donné toutes les indications nécessaires par rapport aux logements. Nous avons été satisfait de notre arrivée à San José.

Gustavo is an incredible host! He gave great recommendations in what to do in the surrounding areas. My check out time was at 11am and my flight was not until 11pm and he allowed me to leave my bags there for the day while I explored San Jose and shower when I came back before heading to the airport. 10/10 recommend staying here!

Ruth und Andreas ist mit ihrer Finca Chiribita ein perfekter Mix gelungen: drei Bungalows in reduziertem Schwarz-Weiß- Design stehen in gekonnt gebändigter Natur. Schon beim Aufwachen schaut man durch die Fensterfront auf das Tal mit seinem üppigen Grün. Auf der Terrasse kann man Stunden nur mit Schauen verbringen. Ruth beantwortet zugewandt alle Fragen, Andreas entpuppt sich als Spitzenbäcker: jeden Morgen gibt es auf der Terrasse ihres Wohnhauses ein köstliches Frühstück mit frischem, selbst gemachten Brot und vielen Früchten. Auch wer ohne Auto unterwegs ist, kommt per Uber von dort schnell ins Orosi-Tal oder nach Cartago.

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

Diese Unterkunft war sehr besonders, vor allem wegen der netten Gastfreundschaft von Nano (Orlandos Vater). Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und wirklich einen Freund dazu gewonnen. Die Unterkunft ist etwas einfacher und rustikaler, aber bietet alles was man braucht. Gemütliches Ambiente, tolle Aussicht. Nano bereitete uns für einen Aufpreis ein leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen zu. Wir waren vom Essen und den tollen Gesprächen begeistert. Absolut zu empfehlen.

First Class! From the moment I made the reservation, I had quick communication and they helped me with several issues and provided many suggestions that were great solutions. The hotel is just lovely and filled with years of thought in the decoration. There is a small outdoor courtyard for private quite moments and another courtyard with big couches and chairs for group gatherings. The place is filled with plants and flowers. I rented the large room with lots of windows and it's doiuble doors opened to the outdoor courtyard. The furniture was very nice and provided ample space. the air conditioner worked great all the time I needed it. This is a great place for long rentals, the staff helps you with so many things involved with long stays.
