Desde a apresentação do espaço, a limpeza, a decoração, todo o ambiente envolvente, torna-se um espaço muito acolhedor. A atenção da Sílvia, sempre disponível e prestável é uma nota positiva. Recomendo vivamente. Voltremos certamente.

We had a great time! Really enjoyed the cottage which is close to a beautiful river and with lots of space to relax. We also enjoyed the nice fireplace and the fruits from the big garden. Look forward to come back soon.

Eric’s wife: “So you arrive, into the middle of nowhere, in front of huge black gates. You drive down the picturesque driveway where fluffy sheep and Paloma the donkey greet you. You are already entranced. Filipe and his son graciously show you to your villa. Please note the word “villa”. Stunning wooden door leads you to a vast sitting area. How civilized. Which overlooks your private courtyard. With your own wading pool. All of which leads to the spectacular entrance of your countryside oasis. Prepare to be awed. Soaring high ceilings, vast palatial windows, state-of-the-art everything, waterfall shower…it is SPECTACULAR. AirBnB should have an extra rating for places like this, because 5 stars is too skimpy for such an outstanding place. By the way, when you are lucky enough to go there (because you MUST!) please give a treat to (or adopt!) the ginger kitten we named Chelsea. For this animal/nature/luxury lover, the whole place was out of central casting. In a word: WOW.”

A casa RiverSun é tal e qual como nas fotos. Pequena, mas confortável e cómoda. Mesmo junto ao rio Tejo, praia fluvial, café. Perfeita localização para uns dias descontraídos longe do stress da cidade e ao mesmo tempo perto para se chegar lá. Adorámos a estadia!

We found Mafalda’s place a bit by chance in a wide search in the area. Coming in November, we could unfortunately not make real use of the nice surroundings of the "Country House" (maybe more a cottage). It was slightly disconcerting though to realize that after you leave the main road, take some turns, and enter the rural place with the fancy pool, the actual accommodation is located again nearly at the main road and in the evening we heard trucks. No problem at night, though. The place is cosy, which also means not very spacious but well-equipped. Some kitchen equipment could be in better shape. Heating was perfectly fine. Mafalda could not meet us on arrival, but sent very detailed instructions that made it easy for us to find the place and get in. She also responded immediately at all kinds of times to questions that came up. Later, we met her in person and interacted very nicely. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay at the Country House and would clearly consider returning.
