Absolutely incredible views, at least in the winter, more so than was apparent from the listing. Very clean and pleasant all around. Easy access to Banner Elk and the ski resorts. Cool arcade and bunk beds room for the kids.

Great location for what we needed would definitely stay again

This house was so cozy and we all felt right at home!! Melanie was a wonderful host. Quick to respond and helpful with any questions I had. Truly a perfect place to get away and relax...between the AMAZING porch and the hot tub to the comfy and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. It was an easy drive to visit Blowing Rock as well. Anyone thinking of visiting the Blowing Rock area, you won't be disappointed in renting this place.

This was my second time staying here. Chris is always very nice and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying a third time ! Thank you Chris for allowing me to stay in this wonderful home !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was exceptionally clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it convenient to prepare meals and feel right at home. The coffee and candies brought joy to both the adults and kids. The games provided by the host kept our siblings entertained for hours. Elizabeth was prompt and clear in her communication, making everything seamless. It was truly a delightful stay, and we look forward to returning in the fall and summer to experience the breathtaking mountain scenery again.

We love everything about this AirBnB! The location is central to a lot of great areas of East Tennessee, yet private and in a peaceful setting. The indoor and outdoor furniture is comfortable for those days you just want to relax! The space is high-end and clean! This cabin is so well stocked— we never have to run to the store for supplies! Amy has thought of everything! This is our second stay here and we will definitely be back! The hosts are hospitable and available if need be. Thank you so much for an awesome week!

Wonderful place for relaxation! James’s place is wonderfully secluded but close to town. It was easy to find even though it’s “off the beaten path” even though we arrived after dark. It has a wonderful porch and fire pit which we unfortunately were unable to enjoy because of the cold and the wind. James is a great host and very responsive. We’ll be back again to enjoy that porch!

If you looking for a great place to stay where you can take in beautiful surroundings, then this place is it. It was very rustic and semi private. We loved this place and all it had to offer. The host were very helpful and very responsive. I would recommend 10/10 for staying here. Thank you guys for sharing your home with my daughter and I. We will be back!

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

This was my first ever trip for my birthday and it couldn’t have went any better. Me and my 4 friends had a perfect time ! Ashley’s space was amazing and everything we needed was there we literally only needed to pack clothes and money she had the rest! First trip in the books for me and we are already planned to book this every year from now on !!! Wish we could give you more stars !! We LOVED it . Beautiful home and the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen at an AirBnB or VRBO. The family loved it. Only thing is it has houses on each side and not as private as it looked in the photos. River was great but a bit shallow for fishing near th house. Still it was a great time at a lovely home

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. The place was incredibly cozy and felt right at home. It had an amazing view from the deck; we spent the vast majority of our vacation relaxing with the scenery. The town was fun to walk through, and there were plenty of walking trails as well. However, the best part of the experience was the wonderful hospitality of our host. She was kind, responsive, engaging, and agile. We would recommend this to any of our friends and would love to come back again.

What an absolutely magical cabin this is!! It is tucked away in the beautiful trees and feels very private and tranquil, but it’s easily walkable to the Linville Land Harbor amenities, rec center, lovely pool, the lake are all within a 4 minute walk from the sweet cabin. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with nice pots and pans and a beautiful array of spices and oils. And Marta is incredibly welcoming and responsive. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the near future. There were four of us this weekend, two adults and two children, and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. If you are looking for a beautiful relaxing spot, especially with children who enjoy swimming, look no further!

Went for a girls trip - 9 of us slept comfortably and loved our stay! Beautiful views and felt like we had plenty of room to spread out - the downstairs apt with a separate entrance was really nice. Porch was amazing! Brian was also an incredible and proactive communicator. Thank you for a great stay!

This is my second time at Kim’s place, and I will certainly be coming again! The house is so beautiful, the river is stunning and the fishing is top notch. My wife and I loved it and plan to come again next year!! Thank you Kim!

If your like me and you go to historic homes on tour and you have a secret desire to live there, than this home is for you. To have the opportunity to actually sleep in a 1700s home complete with antique furnishings was such a wonderful opportunity. Definitely recommend reading through the history of the house and taking time to peruse the many interesting things in the home. I’m sure there are more comfortable/luxurious places to stay but as an experience and a stay all rolled into one this was a great one.

If you look up southern hospitality, you’re likely to find pictures of Chuck and Valda. They make you feel like family as soon as you meet them. Their whole property is fantastic. Next time we are in Flag Pond, we know where we will be staying!

Everything was nice and clean, and Monique was very friendly and gave plenty of detail, and also responded quickly. There were no issues with finding the location or checking in. Definitely recommend staying here.
