We had planned a family trip with dogs but due to a family emergency we ended up with one adult and one 8 year old kid. So we didn't use the yard or pet amenities but I can tell it would have been perfect for our dogs. Things we loved -The walk to the beach was actually shorter than we expected. -The beds were soooooooo comfy! -So many extra useful things in the pantry, cabinets and laundry. -The location was very private and quiet. Keep in mind that this is an older house with what appears to be DIY renovations that are a bit quirky and may not be as polished as some other rentals in the area. However, I still think it's a great deal for a family with dogs!

Matthew’s place is well-provisioned with beach gear and an easy walk to the beach. We liked the quieter side street. The outdoor Jenga set was a lot of fun and my son enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grill. There are lots of gates if needed to help keep young children or pets contained. The only item missing from the kitchen was ground coffee for their coffee maker. Plenty of other spices handy…. Bring your own shampoo. Thank you for sharing!

Great house! Perfect for our little family get away!! You cannot beat the views!! The kitchen had all we needed for the cooking we wanted to do! Restaurants and shopping weren’t far! We will be going back!!

Great house across the street from the beach. They had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time there.

My husband & I booked this island for our Anniversary. We were looking for something secluded & a new experience for us. This tiny home on a private island did not disappoint! The weather was chilly & rainy most days but the house & its windows on all sides was nice to sit & relax in regardless. The bed was the most comfortable I have had in a while at an Airbnb. Make sure to bring your own blankets & food. Treat it like a tent camping trip & you’ll have everything you need. The island was cool to walk around on. We even found a vintage medicine bottle & filled it up with shells we found walking around the island, as a keepsake from this trip. The cacti is mostly off the walking paths so we didn’t have much issue with that, just wear good shoes & watch where you walk. We are avid tent campers in the warmer months so this was just a luxury camping experience for us & something new to say we’ve done. The kayaks were fun & nice to say we weren’t actually stranded on an island!

The place was super cute, clean and very peaceful. The view was beautiful. I enjoyed my coffee on the porch every morning. Our host was friendly, greeting us with a bottle of wine and explaining anything we may needed to know to make our stay pleasant. The only negative to our stay was the bed was a little too firm for my back. If your looking a quite get away this is it. It a nice ride to restaurants and grocery stores so be prepared. But we love the remoteness of our stay. We will return again soon. Thanks

Wendy’s place was perfect for our holiday! Location was easy to find and convenient. The place was exactly as described and very clean. There was enough room for our party of five. It was furnished nicely, very clean, and there was a great selection of games, even though we didn’t have a chance to play. There was even a workstation in the master bedroom if you needed it. The condo is close to Ft. Macon State park and our grandson enjoyed it very much. We would definitely stay at Wendy’s place again!!

Family of six enjoyed our stay on the sound side. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, we cooked in breakfast and a couple dinners. Joyce was very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed a little. Emerald Isle was a great vacation spot - thanks for the memories

If you're looking a quiet, peaceful place to stay this definitely fits the bill. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to local eateries and shops. Well appointed kitchen, if cooking is your thing on vacation. Very comfortable living room furniture and a quality mattress. The cleanliness of the entire condo was worth 5 stars alone. Linda was prompt to reply and made sure everything was okay during your stay. Would definitely return for another getaway!

Every year we choose to stay in John’s condo for our vacation! We love it and it’s right on the beach. The beds are so comfortable! See you next year!

Great location walkable to the beach and very close to the Fort Macon and walking trails. The indoor pool was a big plus and the outdoor pool was closed for winter but looked good. Buildings are very clean and all elevators are working. Very safe feeling. Good non-tourist restaurant in Beaufort close by, The Spot" and fabulous restaurant in Moorehead, Circa 81. Had a fabulous dinner there. The apartment has lots of pots and pans for cooking and the kitchen was very clean, but I recommend bringing your own knife if you like to cook. TV works well with stations available. Great place and great value. We would love to come back soon.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed in the complex. I highly recommend this location at unit 27. Closer to the beach. Easy access to the pool which is great when having kids with you. Super sweet lady to deal with.

Beach, please is a beautiful house in a great location right on the beach. The house is nicely decorated with beach theme and has everything you need for your stay. The walkway to the beach is easy to access and the beach itself is clean, not crowded and has a lot of shells. It is also fairly close to The Point - it takes about 20 minutes to walk there. The owner, Ann Marie, responded very quickly to our questions and addressed promptly minor issues during our stay. We highly recommend this house and location. Thank you, Ann Marie!

This was my families second visit to this location. It will never get old. Dolphins and pelicans off the pier, and so much to do near by. Time spent at the house has wonderful views and plenty to do. The hosts have excellent communication and take wonderful care of the property.

Perfect location in a cute community. Easy walk right out to the beach, got to see gorgeous sunsets daily from one of many decks, and ample space on the interior to not feel like we were on top of each other. Justin is also one of the most responsive hosts, which we were so appreciative of.

Great place! We enjoyed being close to the ocean! Having a fenced in yard worked well for our dog! The rooms were nice except for the living room couches and chairs! We’re so soft we had a time getting up from them!

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

Beautiful place! Super clean with nice furnishings and “extras”- we forgot our toothbrushes for the kids and they had them for us! The screened porch and dock were our favorite parts. Loved that we could do a 1 day rental before heading to Cape Lookout, and we will absolutely rent this place again for this same trip! Thank you so much for the early check in. We got to enjoy a beautiful and warm November 1! Caught so many fish off the dock. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

We stayed to celebrate my Husbands 40th birthday! We enjoyed the beautiful views and fishing right in the backyard. The house was spotless and welcoming. Great place for family time! We plan on going back in the summer!

We were super satisfied with Mark’s place. It was beautiful and spacious; even with a big crowd we had plenty of space. We absolutely loved the deck and the downstairs porch. The decor was simple and matched the house perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the dock behind the house and fished from it several times. That was the kids favorite part. The walk to the beach access is short and mostly shaded. We were grateful for the beach passes as it gave us a nice place to park a vehicle in order to get the kids and our older dogs back to the house after spending the day on the beach. We will definitely be looking at this house for our vacation next year!

I 100/10 recommend this place for a small family. My little family stayed here and had a great time. Their response time was amazing. The local restaurants were great. We recommend renting a golf cart. Very nice parking area for the beach. I will be coming back if in the area.
