The place was super cute, clean and very peaceful. The view was beautiful. I enjoyed my coffee on the porch every morning. Our host was friendly, greeting us with a bottle of wine and explaining anything we may needed to know to make our stay pleasant. The only negative to our stay was the bed was a little too firm for my back. If your looking a quite get away this is it. It a nice ride to restaurants and grocery stores so be prepared. But we love the remoteness of our stay. We will return again soon. Thanks

Our 2 week stay at Ed and Patty’s guest house was more than we expected. Very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of lighting. Well stocked kitchen. Guesthouse had every need. Spotless living space. Comfortable queen bed. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown area. Arrived at the beginning of spring and enjoyed watching new life budding from the trees, birds, and playful squirrels in their well kept yard. Did not miss a TV. Internet excellent. Looking forward to staying there again in future. Thank you

We explored the surrounding areas a little, that was the only time we moved the car. Perfect location for walking pretty much anywhere in town. Great little place to stay and very private, would definitely stay there again.

It was a wonderful place, cute and just the right size. The host was helpful and thought of everything.

This place was everything we were looking for in a long weekend getaway. It is clean, cute, comfy and is located on a quiet street yet close to restaurants, historic area and local beaches. The water view from the deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and the sunsets were stunning. Our fur baby enjoyed the gated deck. The hosts are friendly & attentive but not intrusive. We are definitely going back.

What a gem of a place! We are a family of three and the Honu Hut was absolutely perfect! The place itself is safe, extremely comfortable, and has everything you need (e.g. coffee maker, an extra blanket for a surprisingly cool night, and a very helpful house instructions book with really accurate local suggestions). We could walk to everything we hoped to see in Beaufort, including the Shackleford ferry. Brent was always extremely responsive, and was welcoming and kind about our very late arrival. We spent the weekend commenting about how much we loved our new home (and we've stayed in many places)... it was the centerpiece of our long weekend. We would absolutely book the Honu Hut with Brent without hesitation in the future.

We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do over the weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better, more accommodating place to stay!

my husband and i had a wonderful time at Amy's treehouse! we were delighted to find everything we needed and more! this is the most stocked airbnb we have stayed in yet- from spices, oil, flour, condiments, aloe vera, blankets, extra paper towels & toilet paper, etc etc etc. i mean wow! this is a great find, not to mention the kindest folks around. everyone says hello, waves, and greets you with a smile which is very different from where we currently reside. the air is peaceful, quiet, and private with all of the trees surrounding the home. i was a little nervous when i read reviews that the address was difficult to find, although it seems its just incorrectly marked on apple maps and we found the house quick & easy with the picture provided on the airbnb listing! the patio space was a relaxing place to hang out after shopping while my husband grilled dinner. i definitely recommend, Amy was very responsive, and we will most definitely be coming back- thank you again Amy!
