Thank you Abigail and John. We had such a fantastic weekend! The lodge was much bigger than we expected and really comfortable. The hot tub is brilliant and we went for a swim at the pool onsite which the kids loved. we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in the Esk pod, it was clean and very peaceful. We asked if the hot tub could be heated before we arrived and Ellie managed to do that for us which was a great help! If I had any questions I had a response in good time and it was very helpful. We went to the Ratty Arms pub which is a few minutes walk and we loved it here. The staff were friendly, food and drink were great and it was a lovely little evening. Would definitely recommend :)

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

We had a wonderful break at the Cabin with family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The place was immaculate and the view over the lake was beautiful. The location is great for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas. Charlotte was a excellent host, she was very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at during our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day.

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

The location is amazing, with spectacular views from the POD. The facilities were spot on. The host is extremely helpful Couldn’t ask for anything more. I will most certainly recommend and be visiting myself again.

Really lovely location, not too far from some great walks! Nice pub for food around the corner. Overall a really enjoyable stay!

Our stay at Taen Cabin in Cumbria this weekend was nothing short of perfect. The peaceful surroundings, paired with the cozy and well-equipped cabin, made for an unforgettable retreat. We and our two chow bears adored every moment, from relaxing in the inviting hot tub to taking in the breathtaking views of the serene landscape. It was the ideal getaway to recharge and unwind. Tracy was an exceptional host—so communicative, friendly, and welcoming. Her thoughtfulness truly elevated our experience, and we felt warmly cared for throughout our stay. Where it is situated is absolutely great . Quiet area . Lovely and clean good quality linen and towels if needed. It was nice to have good utensils in kitchen . Definitely another time there again

We stayed here Monday to Friday , beautiful lodge as in photos very clean And comfortable , as soon as we entered the lodge we felt so at home , everything there you needed ,, Clean towels at the bottom of our bed , Jennifer was there when I txt her about any info that we needed about the area , the lodge in in a beautiful place. , I would recommend 100% . we loved it so much we are going back for a long weekend , thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful lodge.

We had a fantastic time and loved staying here. Aggie is a great host and so accommodating. Everything we needed was at hand and little extras like condiments, milk and Prosecco etc was a lovely touch, not everyone does this!! The lodge was gorgeous and we will definitely be going back. Lovely pod, everything you need. Very clean and stylish. Beds are pull out, apart from the ones upstairs. They were very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The shower was amazing… hot & powerful, especially after being out walking all day. Wi-Fi is good, even has sound system & smart TV. Located at the back of the park, quiet and secluded. The park is well maintained & the foods very good in the restaurant. All Staff we came across, were very friendly and helpful. I brought my Nan back for her 80th, as she use to stay at Hollins Farm seasonally many years ago. It was a trip up memory lane. Plenty of places to walk, especially the hill at the back of Hollins farm. The views are still very impressive to this day. Silverdale is just a little Gem, the gift that keeps on giving. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely stay. Accommodation was clean and better than pictures. You are located directly outside the little pond with lots of ducks. We very much appreciated the duck food that was left for us to feed them. Sun rises right over the terrace area to enjoy the morning sun. Second bedroom is small but perfectly adequate as you are not in the room for more than sleeping and getting changed. Shower was hot with great pressure. Communication was speedy and friendly. Appreciated flexible check in / out time.

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

This was the best place I’ve stayed in when visiting the Lake District. It was so peaceful and the cabin was immaculate. There’s lovely walks in the area and Windermere is a 15 minute drive away. I wouldn’t change anything about it and will definitely be returning!

Lovely location in the quiet Troutbeck valley, but close enough to main routes and areas of our interest for our purposes. The lodge was cosy, comfortable and well equipped; also nicely presented and very clean. We didn't spend that much time in the lodge, because our main reason for visiting was to be out walking in the hills; but what time we did spend at the lodge was most enjoyable.

We have just ended a two night stay over the Christmas period. The caravan was just what we needed it to be- warm and cosy, clean and in a peaceful scenic location. We were made to feel welcome by the hosts and other people that we met in the area.

Lovely spot for a quiet get away, be even better in summer when everything is open. Would highly reccomend

Can’t begin to put into words how perfect my weekend away was in the Hut in the Sheep Wash. Everything has been thought about - it was my first time staying anywhere quite like this, so I took all the essentials as if I was going camping, and I needed NONE of it. It was wonderful switching off for the weekend and enjoying the peace and tranquility of this beautiful location. Will 100% be back (and I don’t often visit the same place twice!). Perfect getaway for a man and his dog. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to switch off from the hustle and bustle of life in this super cosy cabin.

Lovely quiet little site. Very clean and welcoming. Hot tub felt private enough in the evenings. Short drive to Kendal which was a nice day out.

We had a lovely holiday at Tarn Barn Retreat which we used as a base to visit family in the local area. The caravan comfortably accommodated my husband and I along with our 3 children. It was very wild and windy during our stay, but that only made the caravan more atmospheric and cosy. The caravans heaters kept us warm and toasty when it got a little bit chilly. We are hoping we can visit again in warmer weather, visit the beach and pick up some Tarn Bay Treats!

We had a wonderful stay at Joseph and Alices Lodge. It was extremely cosy and homely The lodge was well equipped and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the towels were lovely and fluffy Joseph was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definately be returning to this beautiful lodge. Thankyou both
