Carvalhal : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in! It is even more beautiful than it looks like in the photos, with great views on both sides (it’s located on a corner atop of the hill). We stayed for a full month and traveled with our 6 month old baby, and Cruz provided us with both a high chair and a baby cot. There’s walking distance to decent surf. Parking was super easy. Maria downstairs is lovely and super helpful if you need anything. Lamelas next door is a great restaurant. We would definitely stay again! PS Don’t miss out on the market with fresh fish and vegetables! It’s in a very anonymous-looking building. Search for Mercado Municipal Porto Côvo. It looks closed but it is open!

Esta casa foi fantástica, numa localização excelente, apenas a 10 minutos a pé da praia de Melides. Apesar de haver a recomendação de levar o carro (que daria muito jeito para chegar ou fazer compras), felizmente conseguimos um táxi que nos levou de Santo André e foi muito prestável. Foi fácil de chegar à casa e muito fácil de andar a pé para todo o lado. Para além disso, os anfitriões foram muito atenciosos e simpáticos, o que deu mais um ponto a favor para nós. E, para quem, como nós, não leva carro, podem comprar pão delicioso no parque de campismo apenas a 3 casas de distância e o mini mercado também tem artigos essenciais. A repetir, principalmente com a conversa final com o Sr. Luís, uma simpatia!

Beautiful rustic cabin right on the beach. Had everything I needed and the dune was such that I had a clear view to the ocean from the door and terrace. Beautiful to watch the sunset. Very cosy and comfortable and really restorative

Well, what can we say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Perfect spot on the beach, perfect host! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (😊), some fantastic local info and such a proactive host in Angelina. She gave us a great option for our day trip into Lisbon (only 40 minutes away by bolt & ferry), great restaurant options and also gave us some fresh lemons and eggs from her organic farm! We have stayed at many airbnb’s but have to say, Angelina was by far the best host we have had. If we ever come back to Portugal, we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location near (but not too close to) Sintra. Ocean view from inside. Incredibly close but I the beach. Everything necessary was there.

The location was spot on for. Our short stay as a first trip to Sesimbra, we will be back. The apartment is in a clean modern apartment with stunning views and all the amenities. We didn’t get lucky with the weather for a couple of days but the apartment meant had plenty of space for us to chill and read books. Then when the sun came out there was a great selection of restaurants to visit and enjoy all within walking distance. Looking forward to returning.

La communication avec Rodrigo a été fluide et réactive. L’ appartement est meublé avec beaucoup de goût et de simplicité. Le balcon est un plus qui nous a permis de prendre le petit déjeuner et de bénéficier de la vue extra ordinaire chaque matin. Les sentiers de randonnées et la plage au pied de la maison ont fait notre bonheur !

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso! La cabana è stata perfetta per una fuga rilassante. A due passi dalla spiaggia, immersa nella natura, tranquilla e ben curata. Ideale per staccare la spina e godersi il sole portoghese. Ci tornerei volentieri!

Amici felici di una così bella casa tutta a nostra disposizione! Soprattutto per i 3 bagni perfettamente puliti… Se possibile torneremo!

We stayed in Costa da Caparica for over a month, from December to January, and loved every moment. The weather was mostly sunny, and the views from the apartment were incredible - mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the surfers catching waves at sunset, all from the window with a glass of wine in hand, was unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He gave us great tips on visiting places and was always there to help when we needed anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that on Friday and Sunday nights, we heard music from a nearby club. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. We had a great time here and would love to come back someday.

Staying at Theresa and August’s place in Parede was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos – bright, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with so many charming touches that show how much care they’ve put into the space. Theresa and August were the perfect hosts – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to the beach, local cafes, and the train to Lisbon or Cascais. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, having coffee on the sunny terrace, and taking evening strolls along the coast – it was everything we hoped for and more. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Theresa and August, for sharing your beautiful home and making final week living in Portugal so great.

Marjolaine hat schnell auf Anfragen reagiert. Das Haus ist sehr schön und es war alles wie beschrieben. Was mich generell in solchen Ferienhäusern stört, ist, dass man nirgends Möglichkeiten hat, nasse Handtücher zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Es gibt in den Bädern keine Möglichkeit und immer viel zu wenige Haken. Das ist aber eine Kleinigkeit, sonst ist das Haus sehr schön und weiterzuempfehlen.

We had a wonderful time at Ricardo‘s place. It’s close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and the house is situated on a large property with a pool in the back. I look forward to coming back in the summer! Ricardo was great as a host and Pedro was incredibly helpful to figure things out and provide local recommendations.

we loved our stay at Tiago's property overall. there were minor hiccups (checking in was a little difficult, but luckily our Uber driver was able to translate and help, after that smooth sailing). The apartment has the most incredible view, breathtaking, stunning. it is walkable but not as fun with little kiddos, there is over 140 stairs going up and down to the beach. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. There was a concern for dresser that fell over, luckily my child was mildly injured, and I do believe they will take care of it soon. we initially planned to stay for 9 months, but we didn't just love Tiago's property, we fell in love with Sesimbra and decided to stay long term (so we had to find a more permanent living arrangement). I have already recommended his property to family and friends and will stay here in the future. Muito obrigada Tiago

Merci à lurdes et luis, nous avons passé un séjour dans votre maison vraiment fantastique !! Superbe maison bien aménagé avec tout le confort nécessaire et bien plus ! Une vue exceptionnelle sur l'océan et le coucher du soleil tous les soirs. De très bons moments en famille dans l'endroit incontournable de la maison : la piscine, un vrai plaisir au réveil, à midi pour l'apéro, et le soir au retour de la plage !! Une expérience inoubliable. Un grand merci à vous !!

Lovely spacious, clean & modern apartment. You can walk to the beach & bar (busy road to cross but there is an underpass). Supermarket & amazing bakery are a few mins away too. We stayed for a week in April 25. Pools are not heated. Hired a car to explore Sintra, Cascias and further up the Lisbon coast. Lots of parking at apartment. Safe area. Lovely little garden backs on to road but otherwise peaceful. We got the train into Lisbon from Sao Pedro do Estrorli several times.

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

Bruno was an amazing host and the location is perfect. You feel right at home, the views are amazing and access to trails and towns is perfect. Highly recommend staying here any time your in the area!

This is a magical place, meticulously cared for in every detail. We greatly appreciated the vegetable garden, the big outdoor space with the scents of spices and many nice activities for kids, the hot tub, the herbal tea made with garden herbs upon our arrival and the beautiful collection of children's books. We had such a relaxing weekend that recharged us! We highly recommend this accommodation, especially with your bambino :) Thank you, Dean!

This home is paradise on earth and Manuel was the most gracious air and b host I have ever meet! Pictures do not do this property justice, if you have the opportunity to stay here…give yourself the gift of feeling the majestic presence of nature!

An incredible space on the most glorious beach. Amazing sun sets, beach bars and great restaurants along with a lot of space to roam and wander! The house was well appointed with lots of extras and incredible deck to eat, relax and sun bathe on. Sleeping with the sound of ocean roaring in the distance was truly spiritual. Linen, towels, bedding etc all of good quality. Rita is a great host who answered our questions, provided a great space and made our stay very special.

Location was perfect: The beach was almost next to the appartment and it didn't take long to get to Lisbon with Uber. There were lots of bedrooms and bathrooms to share and the terrace with direct access to livingroom was really nice👌
