Really great experience and an awesome place to stay. highly recommend

The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

The house and property far exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect setting for a quiet escape with a 20 min drive to spectacular beaches and lovely towns. The hosts were great. Pureza was very kind and extremely respectful of our privacy. We felt there was an optimal balance between hospitality and discretion. The house has all necessary amenities including BBQ which we took full advantage of. Besides the pool, there were many spots to relax in the outdoor area. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful and secluded house in a pine forest. Close to small villages and Sesimbra, with tasty local restaurants and shops. Jorge and Virgílio kindly shared many recommendations, which all proved to be great. We rented the house for a Christmas vacation. Jorge was a welcoming host! Great fireplace with plenty of wood provided by the hosts. The main house is beautifully decorated and spacious, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped, where you can cook and serve for a large party. Downside was the old/outdated appliances, but they worked fine. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, even if a little odd as two of the bedrooms had two double beds, which may be a little confusing when booking for a large group. The house felt cold even with the central heating on. We had to keep an eye on the gas tanks to make sure they don’t run out- maybe better as a summer vacation home! As many houses in Portugal, there was a strong smell of mold. Overall a great stay!

A casa é lindíssima, tudo funciona perfeitamente bem. Tivemos apenas um problema, no último dia a água quente falhou e não voltou até nossa saída. Infelizmente neste dia o host não respondeu prontamente como de costume e a solução apresentada não funcionou. Porém considerei esse problema algo pontual, uma vez que a casa era maravilhosa e tudo funcionou muito bem. Portanto creio que tenha sido uma situação isolada e não deixei que isso influenciasse no mew review no geral. Recomendo a casa e voltaria tranquilamente. Tudo foi muito bem apresentado, a casa é moderna, super limpa, banheiro excelente, chuveiro perfeito, meus passageiros amaram.

An excellent place to stay for visiting Lisbon and surrounding areas. Jaque is a very polite and friendly host. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. I recommend this apartment.

Mariana’s home in Comporta was perfect in every way. Right in town, walkable to all the shops restaurants and bikes to the beach. She and her property manager were incredibly accommodating, hospitable and responsive. The home was beautiful, spacious, well maintained and had every amenity. I would love to stay here again and again and again. It truly made our trip to Comporta special and memorable. Thank you Mariana and Patricia!

Pros: + great check-in experience, hospitality + all facilities present and are in fairly good condition + feels that apartment is being held with love + very comfortable flat and disposition for 2+2 + good public transport reach-ability (Cacilhas hub right nearby) Cons (mostly minors): - poor surroundings - moldy washing machine - you will hear everything, bad sound isolation in the house Overall, we're happy with our choice to stay in the Nest, it feels like one of the top places to stay in/near Lisbon.

Espaço super agradável, bem localizado com diversos serviços, restaurantes e mercados nos arredores. Apartamento limpo e organizado. Ótima estadia!!

João ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber! Er hat uns am ersten Tag mit dem Gepäck geholfen, durch die Wohnung geführt, war jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert worden. João hat sehr viele Besonderheiten eingebaut und viele ausgefallene Einrichtungsgegenstände verwendet (wie z. B. einen altertümlichen Schuhputzhocker, eine ebensolche Kommode, eine antike Schreibmaschine), die mit modernen Möbeln sehr gut harmonieren. Die Küche, Bäder und Fenster sind modern und sehr gut renoviert. Zu beachten ist der vierte Stock ohne Aufzug. Die Wohnung ist mitten im Leben gelegen (wegen der guten Fenster aber ruhig): Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants auch mit Fado und Bars (23 Biere frisch gezapft) sind sehr nah gelegen. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten ebenfalls, (z. B. Fadomuseum, Biermuseum) für andere sind öffentliche Verkehrsmittel fussläufig gut erreichbar. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

I really enjoyed this place. I stayed for about a week. Below are my positives and negatives/recommendations. Positives: -Great location -Spacious -Clean -Secure -Good internet -Responsive and accommodating hosts (I was able to have access to apt well before my official check-in time) -Apt overlooks a busy one way street full of shops and restaurants -Balcony is great for coffee and people watching -Newer insulated windows reduces sounds from street below Negatives or Recommendations: -More towels -Top sheet for bed (only had fitted sheet and cover) -Steep and narrow stairwell to apt makes it not a great choice for people with mobility issues -Replace the peeling chair in the tv room This apt is in an old building, but that is part of its overall "old world" charm. Overall, this is a great airbnb and I would highly recommend.

Wir waren fast 14 Tage in Davids Haus. Wir waren als fast 80-jährige Mieter von Davids Unterstützung in allen Fragen begeistert. Auch für unser Chico-Hund war toll gesorgt. Wenn wir nochmals in die Gegend kommen würden würden wirwieder Davids Haus buchen ! Ein absolutes Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The house was very well located, close to the beach with a parking lot closeby We have enjoyed our time and particularly the barbecue. If you are doing kitesurf it’s a very nice spot, just in front of one of the spots so you can go walking.

Schönes, freistehendes Haus mit einem wunderbaren Obstgarten (Orangen, Kakis, Äpfel, Feigen). Frühstück unter dem Avocadobaum. Gut ausgestattete Küche, wir haben viel gekocht und haben uns gerne dort aufgehalten.

Só posso dizer bem. A casa é fantástica, decorada com extremo bom gosto. Cozinha super equipada e a limpeza rigorosa. O Paulo esteve sempre disponível para qualquer questão. Fomos muito felizes aqui 😊.

Francisca for me really is a superhost. From the beginning until we left she was always there for us with helpful information concerning the house oder things you can do around in this Area. A big big thank you for letting us live in your home. We enjoyed really a lot . The house which is a littler bit older but has lots of charme has two bigger sleeping rooms and one smaller children room, so it is perfect for a family with two to four or even five children( there is even a baby bed ) . The house has a nice atmosphere and the garden ist perfect to play badminton or other games . The Area is perfect if you like to play golf, because the courses are in walking distance . For all the other things you need a car . A small super market is two minutes away with the car . The beaches of Fonta de Telha oder Costa da Caparica you reach in 10 Minutes with the car, to Lisbon you need about twenty minutes, if there’s a normal traffic, so for us this was strategically the best place to start our activities . We would come back anytime to have our holidays here again . Thomas Schneider

We had the most incredible two-day getaway at the farm, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in warmth and kindness. The house was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, especially the well-stocked kitchen that made cooking a joy. Maria, our wonderful host, was an absolute gem! She was always just a message away, ready to assist with any questions or recommendations, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our stay. We also fell in love with the doggos😍 The expansive grounds were a delight to explore, featuring a serene lake, lush forests, and charming stables. We loved biking around the property, soaking in the beauty of nature and the peaceful ambiance. Every corner seemed to invite us to discover something new. Our stay at Casa das Hortas was just fantastic, Maria, the host , has put a lot of care to create a very confortable retreat where you can find all you might need. The house is very nice and cozy and has everything you may need for your stay Besides that, Maria welcomed us with a fantastic basket full of local products and form the home orchard that were just delicious. The house is placed in a very nice private property where you can walk around freely and has plenty of things to do. Unfortunately, we were not very lucky with the weather and we had some rainy days, but that gave us the chance to use the fantastic chimney to create a cozy atmosphere. Alcalcer do Sal and nearby Comporta offer good day trips and restaurants We hope to come back again !
