It was a nice stay! I just needed a place to sleep and a private bathroom so met the criteria! I do wish the bedrooms had more charm, but I suppose that’s what the common areas were for. I enjoyed reading a book overlooking the river. Everyone was very friendly and gave good local recommendations (like visiting Hug Point and hiking Cape Falcon)

Cool hostel vibe that’s rare in the US. The room and space are good nothing fancy but it’s a hostel. The sauna is fantastic and everyone there was very nice and respectful of quiet hours. Would stay again

I fully thank everyone who became a part of this hostel. They’re incredible people! Personally, my favorite part was that the hostel was right next to the river. I enjoyed walking back and forth between there and the cute shops around. The beach was very accessible and took less than 10 minutes to reach. I’d come back here as much as I could! However, Nguyen didn’t reply to my messages. That seems a minor issue to me but maybe for other people it might be. I understand him anyways. I know we all get caught up sometimes!💗

The young man that greeted us was a delight. From the time we arrived till the time we left, Asa made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He made our stay extra special!

The room is private and as described! Lot of stuff happening around the house all the time but that is expected at an hostel! Fun people! I wish I had a few more days at this place and Bend! But I was super tired from travel so I wasn't able to enjoy the experience fully... Maybe next time!

Nice lil hostel atmosphere. It’s cosy and the kitchen was quite full of bits n bobs of food people had left so I could cook well without having to buy loads of odds and ends

Typical hostel stay! Everyone was super friendly and the vibes were good. Lots of activities and things to do at the hostel and in the nearby neighborhood. I felt comfortable and safe during my stay!

I stayed in a private room and did not have time to take advantage of the walking tour or other activities, but I hope to stay again and try some of those out. The room had everything I needed and with my laptop and the free Internet I could watch a show, but of course there was no television. I had no issues finding a clean bathroom available when I needed it. I would recommend it and hope to stay again in the future, to visit my nieces who live in Portland.

I would definitely recommend it. Felt like a family, and you meet so many interesting people!

I enjoyed my stay in the female dorm. They provide ample bedding and towels, the kitchen is well stocked, with space to keep your own food. Easy to prepare and cook in. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The common area was cozy, the back of the property is peaceful, overlooking the lake and had places to sit. The bed pods were big enough, and even though it's a shared area I never felt uneasy. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, about 20 minutes but it's an easy walk. You get a lot for little cost and I will definitely book more stays here.

This place is awesome and well worth the money! Comes with a complimentary dinner and I was surprised by how private the beds are. The bar and lounge downstairs is nice and you can get some discounts for the local attractions through the hostel! Would definitely stay here again!

If planning to stay and explore for a reasonable price and great accommodation, it is the spot to be.
