From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

“Nuestra estancia fue excelente. El apartamento es tal como se muestra en las fotos, muy limpio, bien equipado y en una ubicación inmejorable, cerca de todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la ciudad. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue rápida y fluida en todo momento. En general, muy cómodo, aunque la cama del salón podría ser un poco más confortable. A quick but great stay at Elena’s place. The house is fully furnished, and you immediately get the vibe of Italian hospitality. This is not a 21st century place, the photos do the house justice. But you get a stay in a traditional house with fantastic views. The only issue we had during our stay was a plugged toilet. Easy communication with host throughout. We will pick this place again if we ever drive back through.

Very nice place and helpful host. I highly recommend this place. It is perfect to stay for work and vacation. We stayed there for a very long time and it was excellent. We have only good experience. 5 star property!

What a lovely place! So peaceful and exactly as described. Riccardo was extremely helpful and check in was really easy. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and lovely and quiet. Good clear directions to find it. Excellent pizzaria within walking distance, the locals are very welcoming too. We will absolutely stay again and is definitely worth the 5 stars and more, an absolute gem!

Staying at Mario's place was like being at home. Andrea and Sara took amazing care of us, they provided all the info needed before we arrived and while we were there. No need to ask anything as all was well explained and set out for us. The flat was spotless clean and had all the amenities for the stay. We were also welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine, what else can you expect? No noise coming from the outside or from the other apartments and the fact that the building is not directly facing the street makes it cozy and private. We had dinner in some of the recommendations they gave us and the food was amazing! Public transport also very efficient and very close to the apartment. Definitely recommended! We will stay with them again when in Modena!
