The house is such a cozy cabin and right on the shore of beautiful Lake Huron. So many parks and beaches to hike at and explore all along the main road and the cabin is smack dab right between Port Austin and Caseville, each only 10 mins to the East and West. The spiral staircase, the fire pit outside, the windswept shore - all make the place a perfect beach side retreat for fun in Michigan's Thumb. Paul Richard was super responsive and got back to me in minutes each time. Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Joe's place. He was easy to communicate with and was helpful. The furniture was very comfortable. The Sunporch was so nice, and we could see the water and hear the waves. We enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming. The location was perfect! Thank you Joe!

This was a beautiful stay peaceful comfortable GREAT location! Will be back. Great for kids and safe!

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

Our family truly enjoyed staying in the cabin and catching up with family! It was very clean and well kept! We will be back for other family events in the future!

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

The home is as described in the listing. Easy access and everything was clean and organized. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were crisp and clean, and there were nice fans in ever room. The A/C cooled the place down nicely after we arrived, so no worries if you're visiting during the warmer months. The area around the property was very quiet and secluded, especially during the weekdays when most of the surrounding homes were not occupied. The channel in front of the house is small but we managed to pull a few fish out of it during our stay. Great place to launch a kayak and see some of Saginaw Bay. During our stay the pressure tank for the water system malfunctioned. Alaina responded to my message in about one minute and had a plumber on the way to assess within the hour. The hosts stayed in contact with me throughout the process and resolved the issue as fast as possible. I would not hesitate to stay here again, my group had a great time.

Quiet and peaceful area on Lake Huron - great space on the bottom floor and a comfy bed in the loft. Love the skylights and the view is to die for. It was rainy all weekend so we didn’t get to fully utilize the space.

Stacey and Dave were wonderful hosts. The property was perfect and the most amazing views at the lake. Would definitely return!

This is the 5th time we have stayed here, love the location, the view of the lake and always meet some great people around the campfires 🔥. Will be back again next year.

Mick was an accommodating and generous host. He was available to answer our questions. The home was beautiful, clean and uncluttered. The water was shallow as far as we could wade out. The kids enjoyed the lake with tubes. We enjoyed our family time together there!

We stayed over Christmas for one week. It snowed heavily and the owner was kind enough to remove snow from the driveway before our arrival. Also, there were beautiful Christmas decorations and even a little lit tree which was very thoughtful. The house was nicely decorated even without the holiday decor. I felt I was staying in a home rather than a rental which was nice. We had all that we could need while we visited. There were even two types of coffee makers. BTW- there is a lovely coffee shop about 2 miles down the road in Port Sanilac. One of the best things about the house is the views. We loved watching the Lake from our bed in the morning. BTW- I felt the bed was comfortable. To the right of the house is a roadside pull-off/park which gave us more privacy. We fit two adults and one teen (Our 9-year-old stayed 1-2 and opted for grandmas the other nights) comfortably. Perfect size for a group of 4. We would recommend staying in this beautiful house. We loved Karl's place - this cabin is one of several with a little clearing and easy access to a deck overlooking the water as well as several flights down to another platform right above the waves. It's a lovely spot and perfect for hanging out and relaxing by the lake. Lexington and Port Sanilac are only a 5-10 minute drive for groceries and restaurants, and there is a beautiful public beach just to the south. Karl was very attentive, even reaching out in person to make sure the accommodations were suitable. We would love to return!

If you are looking for a quintessential Lake Huron experience, it doesn't get much better than this. The view of the Lake is incredible, whether you are watching the sunrise, or freighters passing in and out of view. Cabin is cozy but with plenty of space for cooking, eating, hanging out and sleeps multiple people. There is no shortage of things to do from playing games, swimming, kayaking, or just hanging out and relaxing. The area is incredible quiet and serene. Strongly recommended.

We had such a great time at this lake house. The views are amazing and the home is so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and there are so many kid friendly accommodations. The shore was full of all kinds of fun rocks and stones to find. The fire pit was all set up for use and we enjoyed s’mores with the amazing view of the lake. The master bedroom looks out over the lake. We cracked the windows and slept to the sound of the waves and woke up to the sunrise. It was a fun weekend of family bonding made extra magical by this special place. We are looking forward to returning.

This location and space of this home is amazing. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy. I would rent this again and hope to in the future. - There are 3 separate rentals on the property so the beach and grounds are not private. - There is no usable WIFI as the internet speed is less than 1MB (dial up) You could not use this as a location for remote work as there is little cell reception also.

We were so thankful for a beautiful family vacation on Lake Huron. This house is wonderful for all ages and the hosts were very supportive and proactive to ensure all our needs were met. The property was so quiet and peaceful, the perfect getaway!

Charlotte's home was perfect for a gathering of close friends and all of our little ones. We loved the toy room and how spacious the home is. The property and the view was beautiful and so peaceful. We had all of the amenities we needed and had an overall wonderful weekend! We were sad we couldn't use the beach and water more due to lots and lots of birds and bird poop covering the beach and the recent bacteria/e-coli outbreaks in the bay made us nervous to swim, not at all the fault of the host but good to know about the area when traveling during warmer weather seasons following heavy rainfall.

What a beautiful home! Honestly, I don’t think the pictures even do this home justice. We fell in love and didn’t want to leave! Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and so incredibly cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of room for a large group. It was so convenient to have a full bathroom on each floor. The kitchen is beautifully updated with high end appliances, all the cooking equipment/utensils and even extras like K-cups and paper products. An updated and gorgeous bathroom on the main floor as well. The attention to detail continues outside too. Tons of seating around a bonfire pit, a fire table and a gorgeous and spacious outdoor table covered by a solid canopy, complete with bistro lights. The best part is you just steps away from the beach which felt very private. Location was nice too with the closest city being Caseville. Julia was responsive and helpful with all my questions. We had a wonderful and memorable time here and would love to return.

Our annual ladies weekend trip was a huge success thanks mostly to this amazing location. So much room for everyone to have their own space. ...So much to do. The pool and hot tub were so inviting and the games room was a huge added bonus. Ellen was very responsive and great to work with. I think we found the place for all our future trips as well.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. The view of the water was amazing and even though you cannot control the weather it was 70 degrees in March when we were there and walking on the beach was a plus. The house itself was so unique and had everything we needed to just enjoy our time. We plan to come back again. Rebecca was a perfect host!
